    4 oz. cottage cheese (plain)
    8 oz. yogurt (plain, no added sugar)
    2 oz. nuts/seeds/nut butters (no sugar)
    6 oz. beans (legumes)
    4 oz. hummus
    2 veggie burgers
    4 oz. plain tofu
    4 oz. tempeh
    GRAIN
    4 oz. cooked rice, potato, quinoa (or any cooked whole grain)
    4 oz. corn or peas or winter squashes
    2 oz. oatmeal or oat bran (weighed dry, before preparing with water)
    3 rice cakes
    FRUIT
    1 piece of fruit (apple, orange, banana, peach, etc.)
    6 oz. loose or diced fruit (berries, grapes, cantaloupe, watermelon, fruit salad, etc.)
    2 oz. dried fruit (raisins, dates, apricots, etc.)
    VEGETABLES
    16 oz. cooked or raw or a combination of both
    including summers squashes
    including avocado and olives, used sparingly
    FAT
    1 Tablespoon oil (olive oil, canola oil, safflower oil, vegetable oil, coconut oil, etc.) (any oil)
    1 Tablespoon butter or margarine (no sugar in ingredients)
    CONDIMENTS (with meals)
    free to use mustard, vinegar, spices, lemon/lime, cinnamon, pam spray, herbs, soy sauce, fat free broth or stock (unless you find yourself abusing any of these foods)

    this was great, thank you for all these ideas, I'll certainly apply them all. it would be great if you did one of the same kind of video for each lunch and dinner. I would like to see this kind of video monthly with your 3 daily plates. so inspiring!

    I have been using your food plan for several weeks. I wanted to eat more basic, nutritious, eating from the source instead of processed foods. I never would have thought rice and quinoa for breakfast could be so amazing and satisfying. I put a tsp of Bragg's aminos on my grains and egg. Heaven!

    Thank you for the inspiration. I hate breakfast and always have. I'm just as content to wait until lunchtime to finally have a meal for the day.
    Normally though I have a coffee and banana when I'm at work in the am.

    hello , am new and enjoying your videos , interested in starting food plan , is coffee best taken black for this ?

      when I first started this food plan, I used soymilk in my coffee, just one cup a day and I weighed out the soymilk and committed to just that in my coffee daily, over and above the food plan. then I switched to black (I was advised that coffee is good for you only when it's taken black, once you add anything to it, it negates the health benefits). so for two years, I learned to enjoy it black. now I have eliminated coffee from my diet, as it was making me not feel good.

      ​@@LulusWay64great video! Eggs have been demonized for years and they are so good for us. I have 14 hens and 3 roosters. They run around all day then sleep safely in at night. Fresh eggs, delish!
