- Op dinsdag 18 juni 2019 wonen Koning Willem-Alexander en Koningin Máxima enkele paardenraces bij tijdens Royal Ascot. Ascot Racecourse is in 1711 opgericht door Koningin Anne en kent sindsdien nauwe betrokkenheid van de opeenvolgende Britse staatshoofden. Royal Ascot wordt elk jaar gedurende een week in juni gehouden. Het bezoek van het Koninklijk Paar heeft een privékarakter.

One of Queen Maxima's endearing qualities is that she is at times hilarious and this loving couple always seem to have heaps of fun together!! Their deep love is clearly displayed in their eyes and body language. Maxima and Kate both radiate warmth, grace, openness, humility, and a great and joyful sense of humor! I have enjoyed many years of following these two fascinating women from America!!!

Jajaja , You know She is the only one that can use that and still looks Good, she got what she wanted , the number one in attention , , after all , She is the Queen.
Ik vind het zó bijzonder dat Queen Elizabeth onze koning en koningin dit gunt: de gastvrijheid, bij haar in de koets zitten, het 'mingelen' met bijna de hele familie. Het lijkt me een duidelijk teken/gebaar van respect. Ik kan me niet herinneren dat 'wij' ooit zo close met de Britse royals waren als wat we nu te zien krijgen. Het geeft ons koningspaar meer bekendheid en status in de wereld, nu ze zo in de picture hebben gestaan als vandaag. En Máxima steelt dan ook nog de show met haar outfit én ze stelen samen de show op die foto's waarop ze samen zo genieten en duidelijk zo dol op elkaar zijn. Dat helpt Nederland, dat helpt met het UN-werk wat Máxima doet. 👍🏻

Maxima is almost always elegant, buy some time she is "too much" too big hats, too much jewelery, too much "dressed" . This time she looks completely out of place. Sorry but the hair, the dress, the huge hat are more for another kind of ceremony and another age woman. Even so I do like her.
Well you are out of Place , dont forget this traditional event is known precicely for that kind of display of Hats , ornaments, etc, , you dont see much Normal Hats , , the strambotic they are , the better, even if is an old event, is Sport , and not a Ceremony, not something like the presentation of an embassy so she was completely fine , and be Queen MAXIMA everybody was expecting exactly that.
