Excellent detail, wish I had watched it before I went up in Spitfire yesterday from Goodwood.
Superb video. Really interesting. It underlines the importance of having empty pockets if you are lucky enough to fly in one of these. There are so many moving and sliding parts that even the most insignificant foreign body could be disastrous.
Very true!
Excellent explanation! Thank you
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
This is really fantastic content - I love the detail that you go into and the time you take to explore the various concepts in depth. Just brilliant. Thanks for sharing and I'm looking forward to the next aircraft!
Thanks for your feedback - it's much appreciated! I'm aiming to post a new video every Friday.
This is a fantastic presentation! Very clear and understandable.
That's very nice of you, I'm glad you found it interesting.
Fascinating. The days before 'fly by wire' controls we have now, electronic controls.
I'd guess an aircraft could be rendered useless just from a single round from an enemy fighter if it hit a cable or pulley.
Thanks for making this video.
We Will Remember Them🇬🇧🌹
Yes, an unfortunate hit could certainly effect the operation of the controls
Wonderful clear photos. Likely much tidier than during the war. Much depends on those cables!
Really pleased you liked it. Thanks
Amazing
Thank you!
Love your work man. And of course we all LOVE the mighty Spitfire! Facinating video.
Glad you enjoyed it, I have much more to come!
Brian, Once again you have produced an excellent video. I like your correct nomenclature of the parts you describe and the clear and accurate description of how how the controls work.
Thank you Nick, I'm glad you found it interesting.
wow you made here a beautiful extended video!!! Thank you
Thank you too!
Very interesting video, great clear commentary and illustrations, thanks.
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Brian, you’re a star, great content, great explanations.
Thanks. I appreciate that!
Great videos - the AP schematics are excellent too! Look forward to more...
Thanks. Glad you like them!
Now i can finally dream about flying a spitfire without crashing, thaks
Thanks for watching
Great content. Have you thought about doing a series on the Mosquito? Cheers.
Yes I have a great deal of Mossie content waiting in the wings! Thanks for watching
@@ukaircraftexplored6556 , can't wait!
I'm building a model of this aircraft and these videos have been immensely useful. I wish you the best creating these and hope that perhaps you span into some other a/c of the era outside of European design. Fantastic content. Like, Sub'd and Belled.
I'm glad you like them! Thanks for subscribing, and yes, I have many interesting plans for UK Aircraft Explored in the future. Thanks again.
