I'm from Sydney :), this brings back so many memories!. We were the 747 & 767 King! No Airbus aircraft's were allowed lol. Thanks for this ill keep it forever really well done.
1:18 I keep forgetting Qantas operated their 747-300s well into the 2000s. Such a unique and rare aircraft. Something about the optional antennas on the wingtips make it look so sleek like a 747 Classic.
@MJ Aviation Connections - and it’s good to see them included in this montage and not edited out because their “boring”. I’ve only ever seen them in Scotland and Denmark as well as Australia.
Honestly speaking, Sydney Sirport in itself hasn't changed much. Some things that have changed, though, is the terminal building its a bit more modern now and there r no planes on the left hand side where in now there r huge tree there which cover the planes rotating and obviously the planes back than were way different. The days of the 747s, A340s, and Virgin Blue, which is now Virgin Australia.

qantas never have an accident involving deaths
Absolutely
But they rebuilt a 747 at an enormous cost in order to maintain their reputation.

And 18 years later many of these aircraft are still in daily service. I don't mean that as a compliment.
Oh my gosh, a DC-3 at 8:10!
I really miss some of these aircraft that they have been taken away.
