Polytopia - || perfection || - Luxidoor 114k Score

Another perfection gameplay. This time with the tribe Luxidoor.
Probably one of the easiest tribes to get high scores due to the city upgrade bonus. Right from the start you can spam Warriors to conquer your neighbors.
Gameplay isn't perfect. I made a lot of mistakes and the lack of water at the start made it hard to build good Customs Houses. Still a pretty nice score.

Why are you actually getting perks when you meet other tribes? When I play on crazy they just “laugh at (my) puny tribe.”

That' might be a lucky roll. you also get perk when you meet stronger tribes (you "manage to steal tech from them, rather than receiving them as gift"). Dunno about the probabilities though.

2 more stars right now is always superior to a lumber or a farm if there is something useful to spend them on. Only exceptions I can see are A) if the lumber is really necessary to break one of the 3 first level in a town (workshop, free gold/wall and border pop), though you can usually use a monument for that. And B) maybe in some rare multiplayer cases where the game goes long enough into using mill to milk giants.
Here, he needs the place anyway for temple spam, after spaming port and trade post to maximize income. And forest/farm can be regrown, as he does in the end to get a tiny pop boost when needed.

You can’t ally with the bots, you can only not fight each other by happenstance. The bots will force confrontations after a bit.

You can, in the game stats your allies have a halo above their heads.
Allies will:
-Not attack you
-Attack your enemies
,-Help defend you
-Not kill you if you are in their borders
-Go into your borders regularly

You can usually ally with bots by not fighting with them and fighting with their enemies.

Defense increases the damage you do back to them when hit and decreases damage 6aken when people hit you

the person who is in the city wall gains x4 defense. with a giant would be 16 defense, the highest defense in game.
