Love your reaction to Pentatonix, I absolutely love watching people trying to come to grips with the fact that there are no musical instruments being used and the technicality of their performances.
Kevin performed solo with his cello just before this, so they do the opening so he has time to put it away and he comes back just as aha starts, you just can't see him when he comes back.
Avi was an opera major, Kirstie, Mitch and Scott have been involved in theater and choir since they were very young. Kevin is an accomplished cello and saxophone player. Kevin has been taking voice lessons to feel more comfortable singing. Kevin is integral to their arrangements because he can hear chords.
Torchwood Boy Kevin had just played a cello solo and is off-stage putting it away as the video starts. You can hear him start beat-boxing just as they transition from Christus Factus Est into Aha! The person filming just never managed to catch him on the other side of Scott.
+Kenneth Pryde I think once Mitch really got started, it would have been pretty hard for anyone in the arena to look anywhere else. Avi is the center of my PTX universe, but I would've been annoyed if the person filming had taken the camera off Mitch to focus on anyone else, even Avi.
All 5 of them were there, Kevin had a Cello solo just before this, and was off stage until Avi hit that final bass note. unfortunately, he's just not on camera during the performance, but 're watch that with some good headphones, and you'll hear him beat boxing once Mitch starts in! 💖
Actually he came on stage just as the camera zoomed in on Avi for his solo, you can see Mitch and Scott in the corner of the frame as the camera zooms moving to the left in order to let him in.
I would definitely recommend their song "Love Again." It's an AMAZING original song of theirs, and really shows what they can do with just their voices!
I think Kevin was putting his Cello away cause the song before was Say Something, I believe. so they did an Opera intro to Aha so that Kevin could put it away.
We waited a long time for your reaction, but it was worth it. Thank you. This is a show for Mitch. But the opera section and harmony ago Aha! ... yum yum
They're every little bit as good in the recording studio as they are live. I was at a mall performance in DC and they performed the Daft Punk Medley- there was literally no difference at all to the studio recording. It's incredibly admirable. You've been wowed by them countless times already. If you'd like to just wind down and listen to something gorgeous and pure, listen to That's Christmas to Me. It was the only original song off of their recent Christmas album, and it's beautiful. Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy is pretty awesome too. You'd also LOVE White Winter Hymnal- they do some awesome stuff there. And if you're sick of me asking you to listen to Christmas music, their version of Problem is a personal favorite (and the music video is awesome), and I also love their Save the World/Don't You Worry Child mashup. Keep up the awesome work! :)
Kevin had just finished playing his cello so he was putting it away in the beginning, that's why he wasn't on stage and they were doing a short sound check thing for the begging of the song, he came on stage when the song started though.
I love watching people's reactions to this performance of "Aha!" and you didn't disappoint! I watch it over ad over, trying to wrap my head around the talent, technique, execution..its just...just..mind boggling. I think it's funny that we find ourselves clapping at the end....and don't seem to feel at all awkward doing so when we're sitting in a room alone with no one to hear the applause. LOL! I don't know it was already mentioned, but I THINK this is an original PTX song and not a cover..but I'm not positive! I am sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. thx for the reaction vid!
it's not an original, it's by Imogen Heap (one of Scott's personal favorite artists). they honor the weirdness of her version, but they do make it entirely their own -- especially in this live version, it's just mindbogglingly incredible.
Why don't you like Mitch's hair, he gets loads of compliments on his hair but everyone has there own opinions but right wasn't this amazing! Mitch definitely killed it with his incredible voice👌🏾👏🏾 and they all were so good! I loved this performance and reaction beside Mitch's hair comment but aye I'll live!
Being a music student i admire kevin and avi, why? Well kevin beat boxes and plays cello at the same time, which is pretty much impossible and avi is a living bass instrument (and a pretty cute bass too)
+Ola Olek He didn't "squeeze in". You can see Mitch start to move toward the center of the stage during Avi's solo. Scott moves to where Mitch was, and Kevin takes Scott's spot. See "Shaun Chew First of June" at 9:47, and you'll see a brief clip of when Kevin comes onstage.
Aww, I loved his hair back then!!! I had the same feelings you're having here when he went through the mullet stage recently though. Dear sweet baby Jesus, we left mullets in the 80's for a reason! *lol* Still adore him though, he is fantastic (mullet or not). :)
@@drogna3905 Are you young? My niece is in high school and there was a mullet trend recently, so she thought it was hot too. But I think everyone who lived through the 80's was like, nooooooo! Lol
well, if you already do Pentatonix songs, how about reacting to WOTE(Walk Of The Earth)? They are also amazing, you should watch Red Hands and Gang of Rhythm
is the software you (and other reactors) use for the video a second behind or something? it seems you react to things before we see it if that makes sense
Everyone always asks that. Kevin was off stage during the opera part, but came back on stage after it.
You can clearly hear him.
Love your reaction to Pentatonix, I absolutely love watching people trying to come to grips with the fact that there are no musical instruments being used and the technicality of their performances.
just FYI, AVI is a trained opera singer.
I LOVED your reaction lmao. Stunned--exactly how you should be when the Queen takes the stage :D Mitch is a born performer, absolutely.
YOU ARE EVERYWHERE! JUST LIKE ME!!
@@razorsharp3128 lol is it bad thatI've seen both of you so many times lmao

Kenneth Pryde Aha! is an Imogen Heap song. Mitch is a big fan of hers.
+Kenneth Pryde OMG, I cannot wait until they collab with Immi! I just feel it's coming, I LOVE the miu mu gloves collab with Arinan Grande!

consultingdetective1 omg how did I not notice Mitch move wtf
Aha isn't about anything other that how fabulous Mitch is
#hailthequeen
Loved your reaction! And yes, Mitch is QUEEN! :)
I FUCKING LOVE MITCH AND HIS BEAUTIFUL HAIR!
yeah, that's his most complimentary hairstyle he's had -- especially when he dyes it. it frames his gorgeous face perfectly.

Jackie Thanks to helpful fans I've learned so much as my journey progresses! Thank you very much! I truly appreciate it. 😊
I literally adore Torchwood Boy Reaction Videos
Oliver Parker me too
Nice reaction :) Kevin was there during the performance (he was only absent at the beginning), he just wasn't shown on camera.
Love your face at 1:22! It is a beautiful note.

little train wreck at 4:10, but as always they managed to get back together. They are truly amazing!
*whispers* what the fuck. LMAO
this reaction was actually priceless haha :)
You're reaction was the exact same as mine "fucking hell!"
btw, LOVE you're DVD collection! :D
all five of them were on stage he was at the end

have you heard of Butterscotch? she was on "America's Got Talent" years ago, and she can beatbox and sing at the same time. very very cool.
I loved your reaction, but I have to say I got distracted half-way through by the Dara O'Briain DVD. Good taste! :P
It's an Imogen Heap song originally, and actually, her version is very good, but PTX just blows it away.
The fifth one, Kevin, went to the back to put away his cello. He squeezed next to Scott when the song started.

Brian DuLong You can see him at the end of the video take an earphone out of his left ear. That's enough to allow him to fully experience the nuances.
I entjoy your honest reaction . Yes it is beyond beauty full :-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-)
