Cherry tons of it here in West Virginia. Keep up the good work.
Beautiful grain!
Thanks! Love your music!
@@wallacefarmandsawmill Thank you! Love your channel as well. If I were younger (I'm 79) I'd love to have a sawmill! But then, if I were younger, I'd be back on the road again lol!
Here in Wisconsin we have black cherry. Cherry burl is beautiful
good video and job wild cherry
Cherry is a very beautiful wood, but I also love any variety of walnut or cedar woods. Have a great week and I hope that Britany didn't get drowned. Lol.
Looks like black cherry
The colour says cherry but here in Ontario, Canada the bark is coarser and rather flaky. I still vote for cherry. I am surprised you don't have a debarker on your machine. i find it indespensable on my WM [26yrs old] as there is often dirt on logs I get. Great job!
Black Cherry. In PA we have the world's finest, esp. in NW PA.
Man you have to love the grain
That is some very pretty wood. Those voids would really be spectacular with some midnight blue epoxy fill and clear epoxy top for a very nice table or counter top.
Make a pretty table cherry with lots of clear coat. Maybe some good clear like water repellent easy clean
Definitely cherry. I have sawn some of it but I rarely get a real good one. If they are over 12'' here they may have rot or shake. Hard to dry flat if there is any sapwood on the boards. Very pretty wood. Thanks for the video. I enjoy your sawing! Dont let the circle mill get rusty!
Cherry we have a lot here in pa . It also makes real good fire wood.
I love it too
The reason I was saying cherry in my first comment I watch outdoor with the Morgan and he cuts a lots of cherry on his mill have a great day P.S. THAT CROUCH WAS VERY UNIQUE VERY BEAUTIFUL GRAN
hi nice looking wood john
I’m about saw up some Northeastern Black Cherry that was given to me. Making stair treads out of it for the barn I built. It’ll end up inch & one half by 5 & 3/4 after jointer & planer. Why not?
We ha e tons of cherry in Western Pa. I was going to say about the smell when cutting g. It has a high btu when burning in a wood burner
Wild or black cherry. The bark looks like corn flakes is the identifier. We have them everywhere in east central Ohio.
Wild cherry, it is somewhat common here in West Central Louisiana, but none that big, it is an under story tree and 6-8- maybe 10 inches is common just the same as sassafras and maple the pines and water oak out grow them all and over shroud them or choke them out.
Cherry Cherry Baby………makes a great song title too!
I love the smell of fresh cut cherry 🍒
Guess Cherry by the bark and wood color. Looks like fun.
Enjoyed the video 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Cherry is very common in Georgia and tennessee
beautiful logs
Nice Cherry Logs. Great for furniture.
Nice sawing 👍 I love cherry, one of my favorites. We have a lot of it in northeastern Pennsylvania. It isn't unusual to saw 30-36" logs. The largest I remember sawing is 44". Your right it has a unique smell, makes a great smoking wood, especially for poultry. Good video 😊
Mr. Wayne brings some great material to your mill, I would be interested in seeing some of the finished products. Good job on the sawing, enjoy your videos.
I have never seen a cherry tree that big here in Maine
Cherry. My favorite wood for furniture making.
Tyler cherry is very plentiful in my area ,,,north west NC
To find a cherry that big is a gold mine
Shows the natural wood color.

Beautiful wood. Nice video.
The only cherry around here is the size of a bush. Those boards would make a beautiful dining room table. Mother's Day is approaching. Thanks for the video.
those 2 slabs would make one heck of a long dining room table.

Not often you see cherry that big or even that straight. At least in tn they're usually very crooked. Makes beautiful cabinet material.

Nice looking cherry
Cherry wild cherry
💥💥
walnut. I guessed wrong lol.
My understanding is - that cherry has within the wood silica - which dulls blades when working cherry - be that a planer or sawing. Cherry gets darker as it ages.
Up here in Oihio, we have a whole lot of cherry trres.
Two years ago, for about 4 months, we were paying top dollar for sound cheery.
I like Cherry wood and Cherryholmes music. Be well.

What do you cool your blade with when cutting cherry?

Black cherry
They look like what we call choke cherry, with useless fruit, except for the birds. Last year they had a bumper crop, back yard was filled with those laying on the ground. The chipmunk's like them also, found large supply of opened shells in the wood pile😀😃😄😁 btim sw pa
Persimmon
Here we would call them black cherry

Isn't cherry worth more squared off than left half done with a live edge?
