Truly its amazing what can be done when the character design is actually developed with a functional toy in mind
For most tank-formers, the turret is the upperhalf and the treads are the legs. Its cool that shes essentially upside down.
The Legs turning into the Turret is extremely clever.

Mastermind creations or ocular max is my favorite third party transformers company. Their designs are consistent and appealing but not overkill. Transformation from robot to vehicle or vice versa is enjoyable. I don't think i'll ever buy one of their product cause i'm broke, but i'll get one when i can.
I just bought the recolor that was released Nov 2022 and I am ever so happy. The engineering on this is crazy. Legs for days!
I found Rhinox today at a Walmart, hope you aquire one soon Emgo, I'd love to see a skit with Ratchet and Rhinox complaining about having to fix up their teammates.
After watching few other tf/other toy reviewers I must say your camera angles are the best! I always watch transformer reviews on my phone and on your videos I never have squint my eyes or pause the video to see whats happening on screen. Amazing zooms and detailed camera work on every video
MMC is probably my favorite 3P company. Between their excellent Bruticus (Assaultus) and all the IDW designs they give us toys of, I love them. This figure looks great and the rolling treads are awesome. I may need to get her.
They say she was "Tarn" before the current "Tarn" inherited the title when she left the DJD. Or was it the otherway around? I'm not so sure on the story for some newer charcters...
She was made up by the toy company, not from the comics, and Emgo explains her "official" story towards the beginning of the video (unless there's more to it).
After the Tarn AKA Glitch and his DJD died, there was no more DID, as Megatron (who killed all five of them) had become an Autobot and detested everything he was and did. But Tarn AKA Glitch was the only one who never changed. There were other iterations of Vos, Kaon, Tesarus, and Helex, but Tarn never changed.
One thing I absolutely love about this figure is that they made the actual tank treads working. Working tank treads! On a transformable transformer! How cool is that?!
I gotta admit I like her more than Tarn. Kind of hope IDW does this spin on Tarn's concept for the new comic run when they really go deep with the DJD.
Im intrigued. I really hope she comes out in a more mainstream release

This is so cool. The fact that she’s taller than the original Tarn is pretty weird though. I just feel like Tarn should tower over most of the other characters on whatever shelf you put him on.

MMC is probably the best third party maker going today. They're doing G1-faithful stuff, IDW stuff, and even their own twist on things. Their bots are highly posable and fun to transform. And they're using high quality materials plus their customer service is great. What a time to be a collector.
I like how she has better tank mode than Tarn.

Her mask-less face is very similar to Esmeral, the wife of Deathsaurus. It is possible that Eris is suppose to be her. With that said, is it possible to post a size comparison pic with her and Planet X Ismenios.

well, tarn whole charatherization is the over-eager fan that did all he could to become as close to his (or her, in this case) idol, so it makes sense
Her backpack reminds me slightly about Arcee. Her design could be fusing Arcee and Tarn just because.
Arcee's design is the main way to do fembots.
This is the future of tank-formers, not because of the design or engineering, because of the treads, the treads work even though they are plastic, usually working treads use rubber for traction but this does just fine with the plastic treads.
This figure is great. I am actually thinking of trying to save up for either this figure or her Armada themed version, Eris: Armadron. I would want both though, if I had the option

The Gertank mode makes me think of those mini metal gears from MGS 4.
Mastermind Creations/Ocular Max has said there will be a mass release of Eris. The coloration will be more inline with the exclusive's box art. So no need to worry about aftermarket prices.

Her transformation reminds me of Darkmount? You can even do the same slab with legs mode with him. I always like when a tank transformer uses their turret rotation as a waist swivel, it's clever reuse of a joint.

Unfortunately, this figure was exclusive and it's unavailable. But I hope they will rerelease it again or in different form for as a normal release, because I really liked this figure.

Never read the comics or seen any of the original media outside of the Michael bay movies and bumblebee but in my mind I picture her and tarn as brother and sister

Original characters sell very poorly sadly, which is why this one got such a limited release.
