The model is already super adorable! I cant wait to see the finished product when its finished being all rigged!! I know its very time consuming but im excited!!! Also happy to hear that you might stream in the future too!!🍀 if you need any help, let me know!!!
As someone who has made quite a few Live2d models, you already seem to be doing great! This is the same way I ended up doing my model. They always recommend starting with a simpiler model but I knew I just wanted to jump right in and learn and I learnt alot that way! *I'm not sure of your progress with rigging but just a couple tips if you would like!:* 1) You shouldn't need the eyelid layers. Most riggers i've seen, including myself, just use the eye white as the clipping background that, as the eye changes shape, you warp (i mainly use the brush tool for this). This also means you can clip the iris to the eyewhite so when it moves off the eye, it immediately gets cut off! Similar applies to the mouth. I normally clip the tongue and teeth to the mouth inside layer and then warp that layer so it stays hidden 2) Not sure how relevant this may be but your clipping sources can be transparent. If you lower the opacity of a base layer in live2d, the items ontop do not change opacity. This is especially handy for things like glasses where I have a lens mask that my shines clip to so I can move them as my model moves! 3) You can always change your layers! At any time you can reimport the psd and replace any existing textures or add on any new ones! (tho do know new ones will be at the very top of your model canvas when imported. This may be handy if you do want to change anything about your layer set up or add more things! I look forward to seeing how you go with your model and good luck!

live2d tip that some people don't know: if you put your psd into live2d and have already started working on it but find an issue with some of your layer art its actually not too late to edit it!!! you can go back into your psd in whatever art program you used for it and fix the layer art there (remember to try to keep the layer names the same as the ones you imported into live2d), when you're done you can export the psd again but make sure to use a different name than the one you put into live2d already (even if its just adding a 2 at the end) and drag the new file into live2d while you have the past model file open and click the model file name and then click replace. it will go through all of the layers and replace them corresponding to the names without removing any of the rigging you have already done! if there is extra layers or layers that didnt have a corresponding name to it live2d will just automatically put it in a new folder! i hope this helps someone :) TLDR: if you have issues with your model art you can fix it then replace the model file in live2d without it removing any of the rigging that you've already done

good morning! right now for me it is 7:29 am
I’ve been using Live2D for quite a while… Let me see if I can give you some tips!
1. Make meshes separately. For detailed pieces like eyes, eyebrows, mouth parts, thin accessories, etc… Always set those to “Deformation Heavy”
2. Not every part of the character requires rigging. I’m talking specifically about moving it when a background is present. This saves energy and parameters.

4. Animation mode has benefits as well. Specifically with a background, you can just click “placement and transparency” and reposition it with key frames.
5. Be flexible with animation! Unless if you’re doing lip sync, just be creative with animation, add some head bouncing here and there, make it smile, let it have emotions, etc…
