To get accurate HDR adjust setting on Sony TVs with blowing out highlights and washing out the shadows and blacks you should turn off dynamic tone mapping and auto local dimming and do the 1st 2 steps and the 3rd step should always be darkest/all the way down
Hey, I have heard that the reflections on the tv are pretty bad, especially from side angles? Is that really the case? My living room setup would have people sitting a little bit to the side too.
A little bit to the side should be fine. The tv looks absolutely fine up to 50degrees from the centre of the tv screen. If the light source is very harsh and directly on the screen, it will naturally look bad. But if it’s not directly on the TV, you should be fine.
@@AkhilPatel you can check out the LG C4 and the Samsung S90D. Both are available in 48-inches. You can check them out in an offline store and go for the one you like better. I personally prefer the way LG handles colours and the LG UI is something o find more convenient to use than Samsungs.
I was getting a similar offer during Diwali sale rather it was available at 1.35L, but I resisted buying it because of bad anti reflection and anti glare handling. Is it really that bad ?
@@sumit180288 Nope it isn't. If there is a light source in front of the TV which is on then yes, the reflection is very distracting. However, if you can angle the TV so the reflection isn't so direct, then I don't see any issues. Also, my issue is with the physical reflection of the light on the TV rather than the TVs reflection handling capabilities.
I have heard concerns about the Viewing angles of this Bravia 7. So much so, that everything is great about the tv except the viwing angles. There's been said that there's a considerable color shift to the ones viewing from the sides. Lot of reviewers pointed out the same in the west. Is it that big of a deal to change one's buying decision? I was manifesting a Sony oled A80L deal around 1.5L for 55'. That didn't come. Forever a Sony Tv color accuracy and Processing fan.
Depends on how far at an angle you sit. If you sit, approx 50-55-degrees from the centre, it should be fine. I don't think people sit more at an angle than that. The viewing angle is subject to where you sit. So it depends on your living room/ TV room setup. As for the Sony A80L, its for 1.9L on the reliance digital online store. Im sure of you look offline, you may get it for 1.5L with some discounts, etc. thrown into the mix. All the best to finding it. The Sony Bravia 7 is available for about 1.5L now, which is decent.

Great review as always
Thanks for watching!

Awesome review, detailed breakdown
Glad you liked it!
Which would be the best for 50 inch TV? Any promising option coming next year?
LG has 48-inch OLEDs and so does Samsung. There are a log of budget options too. The recommendation will depend on your use case as well as budget.
@@Sameer-Mitha Mainly to watch movies. Budget can be stretched if quality is great. Thanks for the response.

@@Sameer-Mitha will seriously consider the LG C4 now :) Thanks so much!

That’s a very good deal! How has your experience been with the tv so far?
