Wait a second. I was at the game and yes Michigan won the rushing battle and the turnover battle. Yes Michigan was a tad tougher but osu hsd 2 stellar drives that were very tough running drives. Michigan just responded. We had the home crowd and made McCord throw 2 interceptions. I didnt realize Johnson went out hurt. Mad props for holding up against those great Osu wr. I have major respect for those osu players who were just as upset with Zinter's injury as we all were . Nice gesture shaking hands with coach Moore. I think that is what i saw.

Both squads battled fiercely. Very evenly matched. Kudos to Coach Moore with a very difficult assignment today. So proud of the kids for overcoming everything this year and competing hard. Mich won this epic game fair and square.

He just doesn't seem to get the best out of his players when it matters. I think he just not a good motivator. And his talent recruiting at certain positions is very lacking. I thought this was the game of the year, until the Iron Bowl happened. This weekend did not disappoint, even Kansas State vs Iowa State was insane! Real football! And that is why I love CFB over the NFL.
Michigan beat a great team. Unfortunately OSU may miss out of the playoffs because of the format.

Ohio State is a great team with great talent and a coach who has a 56-7 record. OSU fans need to relax. It sucks to lose to Michigan if you are from Ohio but it sucked when Michigan lost 8 in a row. Sometimes the pendulum swings back and forth in great rivalries with legendary programs.You could do a lot worse than Ryan Day.

I commend OSU for forcing Michigan to FIGHT for the win this time. I had a feeling OSU was not gonna take a butt whipping like they did the last two years. I am especially impressed by the defense that OSU played to stay in this game. Heck if OSU made that FG before the half, there is a good chance this game would have at least gone to overtime. And of course the pick in the beginning didn’t help either. But nice game Buckeyes.

I don't think he's a good motivator. Him going for the fg right before the half and not trying to push the ball further down the field is why he doesn't win the big games.

Ohio State is a great team. They almost beat GA last year. Really, they should have won. They have a lot of talent, but they've just been out-physicaled the last 3 years by UM. Day is a good coach, and he doesn't deserve the "John Cooper" comparisons. I'm sure they'll beat whoever they play in the bowl game.

The Buckeyes have gotten “away” from the Jim Tressel / Urban Meyer formula. Great defense ~ with star athletes / and elite playmakers on offense. Cannot have “average” defense players and expect to win. Buckeyes always had 2-3 1st round picks on defense. You would be hard pressed to find 1 on that defense now

There is no shortage of talent on that team. Almost everyone touching the field was a 4 or 5 star out of highschool. They just don’t have what it takes to develop and coach gritty players like Meyer and Tressel did. Instead, they just stay a bunch of pretty boys.

The only play for Michigan I totally disagree with. Was the 3rd and 6 running the ball. It should have been a run pass option to Loveland. A first down there and the game was over. The field goal literally gave one of the best players in college football a chance to beat you, and they almost did.
I thought the exact same thing! It was obvious Loveland was unstoppable. Could have saved us all the drama on the ensuing drive. Lol.

Please don't have 2 Big 10 teams in playoff again!! The one road win by Ohio State vs a non-conference team might have been the first time in 30 years that any Big Ten team have even played a good non-conference team on the road. (Also, this team- Notre Dame, is not really a top 10 team.) Thus, the conference with the worst record with the most opportunities to win championship in Football and Basketball playoffs/ tournaments will again have 50% of the opportunity to win a championship? The whole ranking system is based on pre-season ratings and the Big Ten NEVER plays any tough non-conference teams on the road and once again they will not have NCAA football or basketball champions, yet will have the opportunities to win one. The won-lost is relative to the teams in the conference and playoff and tourney results has shown us that Big Ten conference is a mediocre conference.
