I agree! At first glance it looked like it was just a piece of fabric stitched but then to find out they didn't even do that, man that shade is real cold. YES, versus all the way.

Yeah I hated that I always ended up putting wash cloths and handkerchiefs on the beds who wants to sleep on a hard bed! I begged my ma to get cute ones and she would say we have enough at home when I told her they were for my dolls beds she would give in because I had been known to cut up my clothes to use instead and she wanted to donate them when I stopped wearing them. Use to beg for cool socks too and she was pissed I never wore them and would make dresses out of them instead

I think a white fuzzy rug cut to look like a cloud would have looked really cute, and it would have matched the rainbow throw too!

I just realized why I love your froggy stuff so. When I was little, my mom would buy me Barbie calendars that had doll scenes just like the ones you create. You've allowed me to go back in time & be that lil girl again, tysmfs!

Printed detail stitching with shade? No way! I am LOVING your version of the bedroom! The nightstand looks so realistic and that pom pom rug is awesome! I have always hated plastic beds and couches so I much prefer your bed for the dolls! So awesome!

I love this rainbow themed room with your versus- Yes, this room is very similar to the Barbie play set. We do not miss the eye mask at all. I love the bed! You are a very talented young lady.

What I’d love to see in the future is petite curvy barbies, tall curvy barbies, etc. Also hijabs, niqabs, etc. The representation is amazing right now but I’d love to see more religions in it so all people can feel loved and included. Blessed be you.

Ok so when will they understand they need to hire you to design the packs?I mean obviously it would still be plastic but you know how to make it cheap and look nice.
Mattel had a line in the 70s that was like a little hippie back to nature family that was super cute. Every play set came with a little booklet with ideas and instructions to make accessories using basic household items and things you could recycle. Mattel should resurrect the Sunshine Family and hire Toya to develop the crafts. This time around they can add to the ethnic diversity of the dolls and have a qr code on the recyclable packaging that takes you to a RUclips of Toya doing the crafts.
You won this challenge with just the basics! The plastic is not as cool as the wood sticks or cloth bed! BRAVO 🥰🐞🤗

I think Toya's will always be better because she can afford to go into detail, whereas a corporate company can't.
they absolutely can afford to do so, they just don’t because it’s so much cheaper to make it all out of plastic.

Sometimes Dollar Tree has purple Barbie beds that are pretty good, especially once you put your pillows and covers on it. I used to make beds and they always collapsed 😆

I love yours. I think barbie puts out a lot of repeats on the smaller accessories. So seeing how unique and different yours is was amazing.

Your rainbow room more than came close, it ran circles around the Mattel room. Although the Mattel room is beautiful, yours is just stunning. I’m an 80’s kid & although bright colors & rainbows are back in style now, they never went out of style to me. My house looked like this 20 years ago & people thought we were tacky, crazy or both. We didn’t care, the brighter the better. It’s hard not to be happy with these beautiful colors, and the promise of the rainbow. I don’t know that my version will look as elegant as yours, but I sure want to try, just ❤️ this. Thank you for the idea & excellent tutorial, you are amazing 😃

What's great about your bedroom is your bed fits the dolls better due to it being a little wider, also your bedding is not stiff. I guess there's okay for kids to play with, but since I'm not a kid but still love to play with my dolls I'd rather have your doll bedroom. Your color scheme gives me summer fun vibes. 😊😊

The tag on the pillow...trim it as close as you can then carefully pick the remainder of the white label out with tweezers between the stitching. You will be rid of it in no time!
