you've forgot the golden rule of handmade dolls = each one is unique and that's a very good thing😃
Just like people
Yes!
True
You are saying the right thing bro🖐high five!
Mhm!
I love your handmade dolls! Seriously, these are better than manufactured, because each handmade doll has her own personality, made with love, time, care - and option to customize features if giving as a gift. I can't wait to create cloth dolls for my sister and I - Thank you so much for always inspiring us with great ideas (and patterns!)
Thank you for sharing this
I'm watching a video and I really love my Ms Froggy stuff
I agree! ❤️
I’m a senior and I’ve been subscribed ever since 5 or 6th grade I can’t believe how much you’re videos have helped em with crafting all these years it’s wild
Good for u!
Those dolls came out so cute. I would never have thought of tracing around an existing doll to make a pattern for my own fabric doll.
You’re so smart lady!!! Of course yours is better. It’s so human like.
Delayedbutnotdenied2020 Yeah
What is your problem with the chibi type?
Las Aventuras de Mia & Cuki Lol! Thanks sis!
@@miacukiadventures993 yeah chill girl
True
My daughter totally wants me to make one just like yours 😂 She said your version is always better than store bought 🙌 We love your videos! 💖 Awesomely crafty. Keep up the great work 😎👍💖
😅❤
I want to say showing your "oh no" version is so brave yet so important. I wish more creators would show their "this one isn't it" practice examples. People are so paralyzed by not being able to do it perfect the first time, it's great to see skilled creators practicing and learning too.
There’s just no comparison - hand-made doll is a hands-down winner! They’re so gorgeous and cute! And they all seem to have such a cheeky look in their beautiful eyes ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The red head one sort of looks like Merida to me. And the one with black hair is giving me Wednesday Addams vibes.
She said the black hair one is supposed to be like the na na na surprise 'Tuesday Morning'. That's no coincidence! They definitely made her to be like Wednesday Addams I think
Yes, definitely! I also think it looks like Adams girl. And Merida
I thought Merida and Samara Morgan!
That's what I thought too! They were both giving me Merida and Wednesday vibes.
SAME, EXACTLY MY THOUGHTS
I have been wanting to make a fabric doll for a while now and was a bit timid to do so, your video just boosted my confidence, I will make them.....just have to practice that face painting though....hmmm
Donna Degale-Kalloo if you don’t want to chance it there are always ready made face details you can iron on. I bought some off amazon though they maybe at hobby lobby.
@@queenoh771 That's a super idea. Thanks for it - now I can have a go at making my own version of these dolls seeing as my ability to paint/draw is basically non-existent.
@Isabella Spinelli This is a neat suggestion too. Thanks.
@Isabella Spinelli True... but I love the big painted eyes
@@donnadegale-kalloo5926 well whatever you end up choosing you'll get better with practice. Good luck
The process is worth it all! I made cloth "Waldorf" dolls for years, cotton knit stuffed with wool. The two layered technique for the heads makes them alive.
What do you mean by the two layered technique for the heads? The hair? Or 2 layers of fabric for the heads?
@@recoveringsoul755 she means the inside of the head is made in 2 layers of wool. You make like a "brain and skull" and then you make the "flesh and muscles". Then you put the "fabric skin" on top.
I have been making these kinds of dolls and giving them away for yrs (because they usually cost in the hundreds if you buy them and I believe all kids should have access to good quality toys), and the kids who are adults now, still have their dolls. Kids always love and appreciate a handmade doll.
@@TashaSewingTutorials oh wow, that sounds interesting. Thanks for replying. Wasn't sure what a Waldorf doll was
@@recoveringsoul755 search Waldorf doll diy on RUclips and you will find a lot of videos. They are fun to make but the most informative videos are usually in another language. They usually make them from wool but when I began making them, i did use regular stuffing and quilt batting because wool is expensive. My original dolls made from stuffing and quilt batting are still being loved on 25 yrs later
@@TashaSewingTutorials ok thanks. I've seen needle felting and wondered if dolls could be made that way, and it seems possible
She didn't get close or miss the mark, she destroyed the store-bought in a fiery ball of flames! Love your videos!
This is so cool! A really great tip is to make the bottom of the torso kind of triangular like the bottom of a bathing suit or underwear, then attach the legs the same way you do the arms. That way she doesn’t have that crease at the hips and her legs can hold more poses!
They’re really cute! I like how customizable they are.
OMG I love your tutorial with miss hops and all you’re my kinda gal. I’ve made a few myself for my daycare kids at one point, but I’m about to make some for my granddaughter this Christmas. I came to RUclips to get some inspiration, and boy did you deliver or what. I’m in love with your creations 😘 thank you so much 🥳👏👏👏
Let's be honest... The wires of the dolls are like bones and the stuff cotton are like muscles..
Omg,I never thought about that.
How about original "My Froggy" Dolls? Like a trade mark or something? I think your dolls will be popular!
Someone else mentioned their strawberry shaped heads are so cute. What do you think of "Strawberry Heads" as a brand name for them?
@@Marialla. it's cute ♡
Oooh yeah!
@@Marialla. its not really a good name'-'
@@Marialla. that's so cute! ^_^
Omg I have that manga book but anyways I like how you costume doll is how you want it to be and you don't have to just find all of the dolls in the store when you can make your own that you really like 😌
Homemade dolls will ALWAYS beat store bought ones. No price could pay for the amount of love and effort that goes into some of them
i always love handmade over store bought and the time just shows the amount of the creator s heart she added to the unique doll!! this doll is adorable Froggy you are a winner as always!!!
i love that you dont really need special products to make these awesome dolls!
I like it when each doll comes out different. It gives them a personality and character. I love these dolls. It shows you put a lot of heart and craftsmanship in them. If you were selling them, i would have bought one.
You make everything seem simple, cool and AMAZINGLY innovative. 👍
You should try selling these! They're really beautiful and unique.
Yea
Yes
Ysa
Ya
The tiny iron though! LOVE IT FROGGY! U MADE ONE OF U AND BELLA!?! YESSSSS
I love how toya makes crafts with recycled and its so creative 💜
My mum walked in on the sewing part and thought I was watching how to make voodoo dolls so now I have explaining to do. But nice video anyway. Worth 100% of that awkward moment.
lol :)
To be honest i like the one with the nose better. Artist here
BPR. Everything same
𝚂𝚊𝚖𝚎
agree
Honestly, it's fine if you like the nose better. But it's also fine if Toya prefers without the nose. Being "an artist" doesn't make her preference invalid, and your opinion better.
@dedetea Then why did the original poster mention they were an artist? Would they have just as soon mentioned if they were a plumber? No, it is a criticism, saying a REAL artist knows what's better, and that's what made it rude.
How nice I make my own dolls but I never thought of putting wires in mines I love how you made them 👍 a plus for me
Yours wins hands down. I've never liked fabric dolls, until you made these 💙
You're dolls are FABULOUS!!!! Way BETTER than the store bought! If you sold them on Etsy I would DEFINATELY buy one!!! Toya you have amazing GOD given talent!!!
Your versus win every time. You never disappoint.
Love this, Froggy! I remember when you did something like this years ago when you made your own zombie boy doll from Monster High... I used that video to start making my own fabric dolls! These look so professional 😍 Love your videos!
OMG same! Mine didn't come out anything like hers, but it was the inspiration that mattered. Froggy always inspires us to try our own thing!
Froggy is the best crafter ever !!!!!!
I made 3 fabric dolls after watching your video three years ago. That was in my 7th grade😊. Thank you soo much for such an awesome video!!
I honestly think that the doll you made is the cutest doll I've ever seen
2:14
Froggy: I’m using my brother sewing machine.
Me: I actually thought she was using her brother’s sewing machine but it was the logo LMAO 😂
Edit: who ever thought the same thing, welcome to the
*your brother sew us*
Club...
😆
ME TOO-
LOVVVVEEE IT! LOL!
I was literally looking for a comment like this 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
She literally trolled us lol
The pale one reminds me of Wednesday from the Addams Family. Love you!
if anything, your custom dolls are the BEST! I been wanting to try making a doll from scratch but had no clue how to do so. seeing this video gives me a better idea. I can't wait to try making one myself!
Great job. I make larger cloth dolls but now I want to try that size or smaller.
Side note: You know if you paint the dolls face be for you attach it and you mess up, you can flip the head over and paint the other side. This way you aren't wasting fabric. Or sew the head then paint and stuff it.
You handmade dolls are so cute!
Wow I really like your na na na doll! The original na na na is also really amazing 😍
I love LOOOOVE your channel! I was looking for a tutorial to make a doll. I am ready to graduate from pipe cleaner dolls to these types of dolls. Plus your voice over and energy is wonderful. I smiled throughout the video! Well done and thank you for sharing your sunshine ❤
I would buy these dolls. So fun watching them come together.
Handmade doll totally wins!!!! It's so much prettier and posable and incredibly well made!!! I really love this video 😀
Well done...so imaginative...the face would have been the hardest for me too
After 7 months, I finally created my own version of those dolls.
I I don't know what you talking about 😅
Pictures?
In easy words, I just made the dolls that froggy made in this video, but my doll looks nothing like froggy's. She's just amazing.
@@aamnaazhar9745 that sounds awesome
After 4 hours I made one
Ma’am you are so talented and I am addicted to your videos! I recently just started collecting and am so excited for these to try out
This video really makes me smile. Really love this..
I love'em... I'm gonna try my hand at making mini mes for my granddaughters!!
i honestly prefer your homemade ones better. they each have so much personality and uniqueness.
sure they took a while but you put your own heart and spirit into each one... in short, each one is a unique and beautiful individual piece of You.
that makes them Better.
Awwwwwww I love them sooo much!! can I have the ones that went “wrong” HEE HEE🤗😋🤪
Well, you can lauch a FroggyDoll line 😁😁😁 guess everybody want to buy🤣🤣🤣
I'm so making one of those.....😍
Love you..... 🐸
I’m making one too
Honestly yours came out so much cuter, I'm really not a fan of those printed faces on the na na nas - and the yarn hair looks really charming and soft, I don't think that's a minus at all!
Froggy definitely won. The Dustin doll was so adorable!
I liked the one u made more than the store bought
Same, Froggy is the best'
Where’s the early squad
Ps these dolls are fabsome ✨
here!
Over here
Not here
Definitely the handmade doll. Fabulous
I love the homemade ones. I know anyone can sew but it always looks like magic to me. I can't even sew straight.
Me handmade and it is time for me to do a craft because I really need something to do 😃
Froggy, I really think you should start selling fabric dolls. 😁
Loved your handmade doll more. Always admire your creativity & attention to detail. A fan from Guam.🥰
Hi My Froggy Stuff! I love your video's and now you have proven to me that ANYTHING is possible, like anything (A fabric doll!???) I especially liked the Anne with an E inspired one because I love Anne with an E! Could you please do some Anne with an E video's? That would be amazing!
Omg those dolls you made they look so good! And i love how u put wire inside so theyre easy to pose 😍❤️👍🏼
First love ya froggy such good ideas!
Kaela Chen 💕💕 you are the best
Omg thank you toya! Thanks for liking my comment
I think these homemade dolls are really cute!!!😁 awesome job! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Watched this video 4x before I finally made my daughter one. She loves it. And it felt so good to give her something I handmade. I'm going to make more for her. Thank you for this video
OMG!🤩 I’m totally gonna make some Fabric “Dark Crystal” gelfling doll’s!🤓
Ooooh, the possibilities.🥰
froggy is always so creative & imaginative! i love you froggy ❤ 🐸
*gasp!* I've been wanting to make a custom doll for each of the players in our DnD group. A doll based on their favorite character that they play, to be specific. Because of the different body-types and races, it's been difficult to find suitable doll bodies for some of them. I may switch gears and do this instead. This looks a LOT LESS EXPENSIVE, too. Thank-You! =)
I know this an old video , and I've been a fan for years but this video is a first for me and enjoyed it .what a great job !! I love these dolls .🥰
I love these!! Wish you were my neighbor! Soooo talented!
I’m so obsessed with this video I have watched it three times already. I love them I would totally buy one 😀😄😄😄😃
I love handmade. And I will choose it over and over and over again because you put your heart into it. I love this vs. I might even go home and try my have at making one. Thanks to the idea. I would say you nailed it!
I think they are different but in a good way. It makes them special in there own way. It reminds me of something my grandma would do. I really enjoyed seeing this video because its something my grandma would make and she passed away so i really love this video.
OMG hit the jackpot
I was at the store looking for a plush like me
But I couldn't find one
Your fabric doll is a jackpot hit for me
I guess I’m kind early?? P.s. I’m kinda exited I’m at least at the first ten mins of this amazing video!!!!!! LOVE U MYFROGGYSTUFF!!
Handmade rocks!! ❤❤I love that you showed me a way to make dolls like my granny made for my sister and I, but Barbie size.
I love that you made your own and give others the ability to create there own!! ❤️LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!
I like your version I am not really a fan of LOL. You have the patience of a saint to do it!
i could have sworn that just a few minutes ago you were still sketching how so fast 😯
I love the hand made dolls. They're super cute!
Honestly these are merch worthy!! They are so good!!
I love the handmade dolls 🤩🤩🤩
Love the way u let her fall hahaha and the wire stand is a lovely idea!!
Doll looks great...making something that small takes skill and patience..Tennessee
The one you made can be used as a moment to in a fun way teach kids how to sew so I think it's a winner!
You are my favorite youtuber and you are the most creative person I know on RUclips
11:23 when you bent the foot I accidentally spit my milk out 😂
LAWL
LOL
I honestly wasn't sure if it would actually be funny but wow ಡ ͜ ʖ ಡ
Your dolls are very unique they are beautiful and cuuute soo i can say that DIY doll is the winner. 🤩💕
Froggy, I enjoy watching your crafting videos because when something doesn’t go how you want it, you don’t give up!! 🙂
I love this video I am going to ask my parents if I can make one so they can ride my breyer horses I wonder if you can make one but as a horse???
I made some homemade dolls before and they were pretty good oh and I love how she pretended to use a barbie iron lol 😝 so cute OHH AND... 2020 any one
I think Froggy *smashed* this versus
Definitely the DIY dolls are prettier. I love you and your creativity Froggy.💖💞💕💕🌟
And this is how *Chucky the Evil doll makes Voodoo dolls* of the people he wants to play with.
These are so cute! I totally want to make some! And since my sewing machine just broke its perfect for hand sewing! 💖💖💖💖
As usual your creation wins. Beautifully executed.
Honestly if they sold these dolls I’d buy the crap out of them !!! To cute good job😇💜
The one that has light skin and has freckles is my favorite :>
I like all of em .Id probably make this irl
The red head is gud
