This is a timely video for me - I leave for training three weeks from today. You have a LOT of seniority. Some things haven't changed. We're still in limbo waiting for a training date, but now we get to have single occupancy in our hotel room. Thanks for your content.

Thank you so much for this video! I’m starting week 4 of training.. it’s been hella intense! I’m about to go on my simulated flight and my anxiety has been thru the roof because as you said, I feel like I am only learning safety and not so much steps of service. I feel scared to be tested on a whole ass flight when we haven’t gone over a lot of the customer service side. I appreciate you making this video!! Gave me a alittle comfort.

Thanks for this video. I've started training for a major European airline this year and as you said, it's really overwhelming. I was almost done but quit. I was so stressed, lost focus. Huge Mistake! Now they gave me another chance and i can start all over again in November. Doesn't hurt to go through training again since it's a lot to learn. And they pay you while you're on training. Not full salary but at least like 60% of full salary.

If you are out for a longer period, and you miss I believe 3 consecutive CQs then you do have to go back for an extended training. I had to do it after having children and taking multiple leaves. I was back for like 3-4 weeks. The only advantage over initial training is that you know you have a job the entire time. In initial training it could go either way.
