It's just the perfect midrange and the perfect amount of compression. Probably the perfect pickup. Also a glassy strat neck is amazing but a p90 just does the thing. Killer playing. Subbed.

What is your camera setup ? Awesome playing as always.
Panasonic G7 with old Canon FD lenses using an adapter to compensate for the M43 censor on the camera! I pretty much exclusively use a 28mm lens for guitar shots. A relatively inexpensive setup but I'm happy with the results considering I don't really know what I'm doing! haha! Hope that helps! Thanks for your comment and kind words! Dave

The guitar I’m using in this video is an original 1952 goldtop (the first ever Les Paul) so it’s whatever pickups were in that particular model!
