They aren't talking about the fact that Shim had an issue with the manager, not the band. He loved the band, he didn't want to leave them... he needed to leave that manager. The band should have left with him. They were too afraid, and now they aren't as noticed without Shim. They kicked him out. They picked a manager over him... which shows where their loyalty was.

I saw this band open for Breaking Benjamin about 10 years ago in Dallas. The only reason I even remembered this band was Because of Moore.
I don't understand... Did Sick Puppies play for Breaking Benjamin's concert before? Does Breaking Benjamin more important than Sick Puppies?
breaking benjamin is definitely better than sick puppies. still, sick puppies aren't like terrible or anything they've always been okay
brandough crox aka ogb To be honest, I LOVE Sick Puppies, but Breaking Benjamin is also a great band. But I like BB not as much as Sick Puppies because Sick Puppies made me fell in love in them really strongly!!!

I'm sorry, but this isn't the Sick Puppies I've been listening to since high school. The new guy sounds cool and all, but I think he's trying a little hard to be like Shimon in style and vocals. No one will EVER replace Shimon! I can't bring myself to listen to your new music after hearing the first song from your newest album.
These comments did not age well lol it’s such BS to me that they threw Shimon under the bus and claimed he wanted to dissolve the band and they wanted to keep it. Tell it like it is, your manager was a jerk and Shimon asked you to make a choice. You CHOSE to replace him and keep your manager. How can you be dedicated to a band when you don’t even have faith in or dedication to you day 1, your friend, your band mate? I mean come on. So happy that Shimon is happy. The band sucks now. Such a shame.

Shim was the main songwriter. Replacing him is like replacing Kurt of Nirvana. Whether he left or was kicked out, either way, Sick Puppies is fucked.
I never had a chance to see them live before Bryan took over as vocalist but I can already tell he doesn't hold a candle to Shimon. For the simple fact that I have seen sick puppies live twice in the last year and just watching Bryans performance, he was completely expressionless throughout the entire show, tells me to him it is just a paycheck and not about the music

I dont get the whole thing. Did Shim want to leave or was he kicked out? The band says he left, he claims he never heared of that... At least one of them must be lying. So what happened? I googled it but i dont find more information about whats the truth... I only read somewhere that he is not allowed to use their name or somethin like that...

Interesting Bryan doesn't have an accent kinda makes you think how much really had to fall into place for him to join since I would guess he isn't from Australia originally or at all! I think that's where they're from at least! Either way awesome band glad they're still kickin ass!

Mark is not from Australia. Only shim and Emma were. They started playing together in high school. Mark is not the original drummer either.

No matter what emma will never be generic. She gave me advice and even encouraged me to keep my band going and i still am in my own way. Love you emma your the best.

I love the new album!! I looked up some live performances of the new singer for old songs, AND ITS PRETTY GOOD. Seems like he really respects the songs and kills it!! Don't listen to the haters...Im a big fan of your music that was tapped out until you released Fury..and now im excitied again to see what you come up with!!

For anyone that failed to understand Shimon actually wanted to get rid of the band for that reason they wanted to continue on I'm not going to say it was their best idea but it certainly isn't the same music from their roots. But I understand their passion to continue to make music it just doesn't feel the same anymore imo.
If Shimon wanted to get rid of the band and not do it anymore, why is he touring solo? Like couldnt he have just left and let Sick Puppies carry on without him? I dont get it.

cmartin1959 I beg to differ. Van Halen was never the same after David Lee Roth left. They turned into a pop/ballad band and ceased to be a rock band.
Just like when Escape the Fate kicked it out Ronnie Radke it went to s*** but Ronnie Radke open Falling in Reverse which is way better than Escape the Fate ever was
