@@hookandcookreellife I saw your videos recently on the place so me and my friends decided to try it went out in the morning I think I saw you and your go pro but the bite was super slow in the morning, did it get better? We left shortly after
I did I did 😁❤️🎣🐠🐟 ... use small sharp hooks #1 or 1/0 or even a bit smaller ... tide wise I like personally hav no preference, I would fish incoming, slack or outgoing and still find Sheepshead... however the 2 hours before low tide seems the most productive... hope this helps..

These hooks had no brand name, I bought them on Amazon... but they are #1 & 1/0 .... sometimes I use #4 also ... there are a couple of different sellers on Amazon that got them for $10 for 100 ..

Good morning, if u are coming from south side the closest shops would be BIG AL'S BAIT AND TACKLE ( FLAGLER BEACH) or HAMMOCK BAIT SHOP ( this one is on A1A opposite BINGS LANDING) ... or if u coming from the north side check out GENUNGS FISH CAMP in St Augustine at the 206 Bridge

Im a Florida native coming from Jax and I've fished Matanzas Inlet a few times without much luck. I watch alot of your videos last time I went in March but I was using dead shrimp and frozen finger mullet got skunked while the guy next to me using the same caught alot. Im quite a seasoned angler so my hands feel the bite very good but I'm not even getting bites. I wash my hands fresh line Im thinking maybe my hands had smell on them or something but God only knows
@@hookandcookreellife So I went to Genungs yesterday Fri bought 2 cups of Fiddlers a pack of size 1 hooks as the guy suggested then copied your Carolina rig to the T. 3/0z weight bead in-between the swivel 14-18" 30lb mono leader and brand new hooks sat between the signs and the older white guy with a hat just caught everything lol. I was on incoming mid tide 2p-6p fished 2 poles for 4 hours not one bite nothing and thats the 3rd time in 3weeks at Matanzas Inlet. I would've been happy with Whiting but at least the guy next to me caught his fill and wouldn't even help me with any tips when I asked. Usually a fellow angler will share a few tips to somone standing next to them getting skunked if they ask...Not this guy he was like just toss your lime in the water thats how u catch em smh 🤦.... I could've bought a cooler full of fish with what I spent the past 3times.

No no .. I was there a few Saturdays ago .. got skunked , the wind was very heavy...

No no , 8 per day per angler... must be 12 inches minimum total length....
lol 😆 If u don't care about the Game warden but on this bridge I would highly advise you follow the laws they will strictly enforce them

Thanks thanks... the parking lots are on both side of the bridge... ST AUGUSTINE side of the bridge got 2 parking lots now ...
