I have an s23 ultra as my main. Definitely a succesor to the LG V60. However I still have the V60 for situations that require it like the audio jack and expanded storage. Still a legendary phone in my book.

My LG G8x with dual screen is my daily driver, since October 2020...3 years and running! Simply cannot find anything in the market to match the quality, and of course productivity with the dual screen. Will go another 3 years if I can, or till LG and dual screens make a comeback!

I'm really enjoying my pixel 8 Pro right now, and my Motorola Razr Plus but I would have to say that my smoothest and most favorite phone so far has to be my Nothing Phone 1 and another one of my favorite's is probably my ASUS ROG Phone 2. and even though I didn't have one, I really loved the OnePlus 7 Pro McLaren Edition. And of course I'll always love my LG V60 with my dual screen Another favorite of mine is my Samsung S21 ultra. I love the way it looks the way it feels in hand everything about it except for the bit of heating issues. But I can deal with that. Nothing major and it's not a deal breaker. .

Luckily I got a good deal on the classy white LG V60 with the Dual Screen complete in box with cables & fast charger on ebay for under 200 bucks about a month ago. Mint condition, no dents or scratches. Built quality is top notch.
Its an emulation beast! Playing PS2 games using AetherSX2, some PS vita games, Gamecube games is fun. Does PSP & Dreamcast perfectly and got the Backbone Playstation controller. LG Gamepad on dual screen is OK but prefer physical buttons like the Backbone one. Yeah make sure to get a large capacity microSD card since having lots of games takes up space.
And finally got to play Genshin Impact and looks & plays great so far.

Hello, I have a question. I have the LG V60 with Android 12 and it already allows me to update to Android 13. I would like to know if it improves in terms of performance, camera, WhatsApp messages. notifications topic. Because I have read comments that for some the update has lowered their performance, overheating and problems with some apps, I would like to know how things are going for you, apart from the fact that I noticed that the camera with Android 12, the interface is not so fluid, it is a little slow. moded with honeywell ptm7950 for better thermal transfer and extra copper sheets inside to spread the heat better.

I have 3 LG V60's. The one that's snappiest and most problem free is running Android 10 no issues whatsoever. Hell I'm still running a V20 on Oreo. Updates are entirely up to the user but NOT entirely necessary. Great video sorry I'm late!

Go for the V60! Honestly do not worry about updates. At the end of the day, as long as you are sensible on your LG or any device for that matter it cannot get randomly hacked etc.

Team LG here All The Way!! Samsung just doesn't do phones for me lol. I still have my 2 OG LG Att E980 Optimus G Pro that got me hooked on LG. They had 5.5 screen & IR Blaster. Better specs than Note 2. Only upgraded to 4.4 KK and not much custom Rom support.
I now have LG V60 DS, V20 & V30. Still plan to get a Wing because Why Not lol. I used to have the LG G Pad X2 8.0 Plus with the Battery Speaker Pack but unfortunately someone at the plasma center stole it from me. It was old from 2017 & had a cracked screen but still sucks that people are theifs. It was stuck on A-7 tho. I also have a Samsung Tab S6 that I got from a Walmart super clearance deal for $40. I will say this Samsung makes way better tablets than LG Ever did. At least the Premium ones. I will probably get a Tab S8+ sometime in 2024 because I would like A-13 & 14 mine is stuck on 12 and if I used custom rom i lose Dex Mode.
I still also have my Old Att Motorola Atrix HD that now has Custom Lineage OS 14 A-7 Rom vs 4.4 Stock KK. I bought It to work on my old T-Mobile $5.99 Legacy T-Zones Unlimited Data Plan because stock Tmo Android Phones would get blocked lol.
Lastly my buddy Mike in Michigan mailed me his old Motorola Edge + 2020 which is stuck on A-12 but I read good things about that device too. 6.7 inch edge screen, SD 865 just like V60, 3.5 Jack and SD card. I plan to test out Moto Ready For Desktop Mode.
So for now I am Team LG & Motorola with a Touch of Sammy lol. 😊 Thanks for all the tech videos.

In retrospect had I been more educated about phones back when I had the LG V60& better service I would of had a better experience it was a decent experience. You know how toxic RUclips can be if you fall in the rabbit hole of everything sucks. Going into 2024 would I be able to buy a LG V60 case? I would get the V60 for fun.

I gave up on my V60 due to the poor charging port. My favorite phone though is still my Pixel 6 Pro, the device just feels so smooth to this day. Cameras are great, battery is pretty great, and the design of the device to me is my favorite with the two tone colors.

Can confirm One Plus 7 Pro is a very good older phone. Even though it's EOL, you can easily replace battery for under $20, flash to custom rom like Lineage OS on Android 13 and still breathe life. Man I miss that phone with no bezel.

Any of you guys who have the LGV60 having an issue transferring files or saving photos to your SD CARD? Seems to be an ongoing issue with the latest security patch (updated in May), so if you are NOT having the issue, what security patch/version do you have? This issue is driving me and a few others nuts, I have 2 LG V60s and both are having this issue :(. When taking photos, it will say "processing" in the notification menu for a little while and you cannot view your photos until it's done. Also transferring multiple files to the SD card slows to a crawl.
I'm not having these issues. Maybe someone will see your comments and respond with a tip. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it

@@TheTechPreacher I don't know I might have the wrong wall brick but it almost takes like an hour and a half to hour and 45 minutes but that's still not going to stop me from using the V60 I still use it regardless I just got to learn to be patient, in fact I'm using it right now
