I landed 3 nice flatties and a channel fishing log jams on 8 today. Come home and have a Angler X video about catfish! The stars have aligned! You know I love those whiskered fish, but I think your wife may have me beat! Great vid, it had me giggling the whole time. Can't say it doesn't bother me when the fish get away, but its not seeing what it was that really gets me...

I shorebang the topside of that dam a lot. I like to use mooneyes that can be caught below the dam for bait. Never thought to use a float, will have to give it a try. Enjoy your vids!

It was just your basic pre tied bobber stop. They come tied on a tube, real easy to use.
You neeeeeed a circle hook
Circle hooks may have been a better option…I’ve got plenty.
@@AnglerX offset circles 5/0 work the best for channels 2-15 pounds and 8/0 for flatties
Best part about fishing is setting the hook! J hooks all the way!
