    Euge.. amazing video as always. If I can suggest, maybe doing a tip video on how to do "in the room" type recording.
    Cheers

      Thanks! Not sure what you mean by that?

      @EugeValovirta230V So basically setting up say 1 or 2 microphones in the room to record more of what's hear around the room instead of what the cabinet is pumping directly into the microphone(s)... Or perhaps a combo of direct cab micing and one in the room to pickup the guitar cabinets ambient sound. 🤘🏻

      Ah I never do that. If I want room to the sound I use a room reverb when mixing like I showed in this video.
      This is how I record: ruclips.net/video/QhLBZpCKGSY/видео.htmlsi=sYpH9F4V6SmoOmUC

    Cool tone. What are the SSL E channels doing on SPX90 and BM60 channels?

    • @EugeValovirta230V
      @EugeValovirta230V  17 дней назад +3

      Thanks! Just being SSL, I have the channel strip always on every single channel; I can EQ the effects if needed etc. Usually some low and high cuts. It does make a difference if you have the channel strip on everything; makes the DAW kinda like an SSL. I’ve worked with 4000E & 6000G desks and it’s amazing how well the plugin captures that vibe. But you have to have that on everything. Channel strip here and there doesn’t make a difference.

    Great video again! I noticed you have the Master volume set to “50” on your Quad Cortex. Why is that instead of bypassing the volume knob when setting the level to the L and R outputs?

    • @EugeValovirta230V
      @EugeValovirta230V  18 дней назад +1

      Thanks! That’s the starting point and if I need more during the show I have plenty of room for that and if I want less I have plenty of room for that too. Easy and fast just like with old school tube amps 👌.

      @@EugeValovirta230V Thanks! Do you basically control your own listening (IEM) this way? And does the same signal go also to FOH (and they don’t mind if you change the master volume during the show) or do they use different outputs (volume knob bypassed) from the QC?

    • @EugeValovirta230V
      @EugeValovirta230V  17 дней назад +2

      @@originalversions Same signal goes to FOH and sometimes he minds, like does my band members, but the adjustments are usually just a few dbs so they don't usually mind :-). Sometimes they're like "did you raise your volume during the show 'cos your guitar was pretty loud?" I'm like "Noo, I don't do that" 😀.

    Hi Euge! One question. You have three rhythm guitar tacks L,C,R. Do you mute one of this three when you play lead?

    • @EugeValovirta230V
      @EugeValovirta230V  17 дней назад +1

      Whatever I’m looking for and works the best in any given situation. No rules. On this song there’s just drums and bass behind the lead guitars.
