@Daggerwin, you could buy #4 and then sell off the land at your starting farm, and move all the implements and machinery over to the new farm. That would be a great way to extend the life of this amazing series if you wished to do that! You could have Ep. 100 as "Moving Day"!
Its hard to sell a modified farm unfortunately. I wanted to buy the horse ranch on River Bend Springs and then found out the horse stable is not functioning at all and I didnt want it anymore. The amoung of non functional garbage on that map is astonishing. Tried to sell it back but I had to sell all buildings first while I didnt do anything to this plot. Might be a way to earn money though, buy land, then sell all buildings on it and sell for same price as you bought it.
21:40 Daggerwin I think you should take out a massive loan (500.000 +) and put a sawmill and cement factory there. You will need it! The loan is only going to cost like 2-3000 a month (keep in mind that leasing the productions also costs about 2k) and it will be repaid in no time by selling all the products to the temple.
I took an 850000 loan to build a massive dairycow barn with robotfeeder and I paid it off in a game year time just by selling products especially to the temple. I have debris crusher and cementfactory build next to eachother, I just couldnt put the triggers on eachother to have the factory feed automatically, but its producing all 3 products non stop with using the belts. Once you got the basic money makers in place, this map is pretty profitable and all dreams are in reach without needing a loan ever again.
I like the idea of making plot 4 your new homestead! Save money and turn your starting farming into the goats pasture, finally get that big rice field you wanted and then redesign plot 4 with sheds you like
you are right about tractors , never buy with over ten hours on , always use the cheap challenger or deuce or jd if poss as repair cost is linked to new value. in fact i even downgraded my mower to the white one so the geuce could run at the right speed mowing ! enjoy your content
Same i have the large MF tractor but i only use it when my challenger cant handle the job. The challenger seems to be able to take more punishment, it is more sturdy, and waaaay cheaper repairs
Hey quick idea for you! Since you can't dump the auto loader in the shed how about you use that for equipment and then build a tall one for your bales. It's a perfect idea In my opinion. No wasted money and space
“It must be scary in real life…” a few years ago 2021/2022 I fed hay from June to May. I was buying it from all across the United States (as far away as Idaho) because we had a drought in NC. The mental and emotional toll was tougher than the financial toll. I’ve never understood why that was, but it definitely was. We made it through. I cut my herd to 30 cows to do it though.
I buy 100% of the hay that I feed. It’s funny. On the game, it’s much cheaper to make your forages, but in real life, it’s cheaper for me to buy my forages. My time is the biggest cost in making hay.
Most farmers here use a formula of how many bales they need per animal, like sheep 1 each to get through winter, horses 4 if kept indoors, cows 6 or maybe even more, we didnt have cows so Im not sure but they all only eat hay or silage nothing else so its pretty much) since all animals are outside during summer, there is no issue there. Left over from last year bales are always for the horses. They make sure they have at least this amount of bales needed and for 10% extra. It doesnt happen often they have too less, only if a batch of bales was destroyed during fermenting but they calculate for that. If harvest turned out bad due to bad summer, they instantly get hay from other parts of the country or import it, they do not wait until end of winter to do so. I think most farmers are very aware of how much they are going to need and will be way ahead of a possible shortage in which case some will refer to take some animals to slaughter early rather than buying expensive emergency hay.

I think you should have sold a couple of bits of land and then bought the new Farm. Would make a great base for the next phase. You are starting to outgrow the farm you are at.
There is a bale and pallet auto stacking shed you could use instead of manually stacking in that shed you have. It's 50k base game under silo extensions I believe.
If you think about it, those bale auto stacker are quite cheap considering the amount of steel and engineering that goes into them. If I was asked to guess the price, I would have said 150k.
Make your own content if you dont like it. If playing on seasonal growth the options are limited. Plus its his game and he needs to care for his animals.
@Daggerwin did you know that you can configurate some buildings like the chicken coupe and soweit barns so that they habe solar on the roof that make some passive income every month.
I think you still have to fulfil your ‘rule’ to buy the cement factory and should do that before purchasing something like field 4. Definitely use more loans to buy things rather than renting productions imo. Set a rule where you need a 20% deposit for whatever you’re buying and can’t take out another loan till you pay it off or something like that
You Repaired the Massey, went mowing, and by the time you hooked the Tedder up, the Repair meter was halfway down again. Strange. Did you hit a bunch of Road signs or somthing?
Just what i needed on a slow Boxing day morning, hope you're having good holidays ❤ edit: i bought 24 and 25 and plowed them together, that makes a nice mediumsized irregular field, maybe nice idea for the future!
17:03 I would suggest you not to sell that small shed as a big shed won’t fit anyway just keep it for storing fertiliser bale wrap and other consumable’s!!!
My dad is 71 and is almost done hauling his grain for the year. Really hoping he can retire this year, his totals were around 80k bushels of soybeans, 120k of corn and 80-85k of milo. 1 bushel = about 35-40 liters for reference
The bales are really not that expensive, you can buy hay bales for 192€ per 1000l, and they sell for 186€ per 1000l in my game at the best time right now, so its actually a fairly small markup.
@Daggerwin, when might you sell the old grain drill? Seems like it’s sitting at the dealership for no reason.

What about Walter
I second this
old farm .. animals ... new one feed-vegies-...
Nah I like the old farm, he should just build a few more sheds

You could lease the canning factory and produce noodles since you are already making flour and eggs
Your videos are the one thing I can’t wait to watch when I wake up, you get me through the day!

Giant needs to have a mod on walnut trees where you can pick up walnuts off the ground and sell them.
There are a few mods that let you store bales and pallets now. Out of sight, out of mind
Do you really need the animal trailer? You didn’t use it when selling the cows and buying Angus. Likely, it wont be used later.
Texas Flats got some of the biggest fields in fs22

Repair cost is not linear, 5 repairs of 10% will cost you less than 1 of 50%.
If you buy 24/25 combine them and turn it into a big grass field
I just got fs 25 today so excited
goats/milk ? ... should cut down the trees in field 26 new filed?
There a sawmill for 150000 $ it's very good
Please do more spinach, green beans and peas, you've hardly touched those so far!
Hay dagger a Thing i Think you shud do is go arund All the grass filds edges whit the plow and seader to maxemise yeld sorry for bad spelling
It's the bale next to the last 1 you checked
Am I the only one who almost feels pitty for the lime spreader in the yard. It is never used.
After awhile this game just turns into silage and hay simulator.
Make your own content if you dont like it. If playing on seasonal growth the options are limited. Plus its his game and he needs to care for his animals.
Please release another episode tonight Daggerwin
@Daggerwin did you know that you can configurate some buildings like the chicken coupe and soweit barns so that they habe solar on the roof that make some passive income every month.
Those are insane expensive, I hardly doubt its worth the money.
Can you sell that seeder? 😂😂

I had to repair them every month for 23000. I sold them because they werent worth it. I have the idea its also that type of tractor.
Hi
You lost less than it would have cost to rent it each time so it's not that bad
Can the water buffalo’s only be in this map or can it be in the American based map to
Absolutely loving the videos daggerwin hope you had a good christmas
Thanks, you too!
Can weather effects, such as fog and hail, be turned off? The fog on this map is terrible. And the hail damage is super annoying!
Why you not selling planter in store?
Here imma do a thing
Wonderful episode Daggerwin. Hoping you had a very enjoyable Christmas with family and friends.
I get at least one good laugh out of every one of your videos. Thank you for another great year Daggerwin!

Just what i needed on a slow Boxing day morning, hope you're having good holidays ❤ edit: i bought 24 and 25 and plowed them together, that makes a nice mediumsized irregular field, maybe nice idea for the future!

Don't Give Up by Def Lev.
Shazam is your friend, my friend.
Was a kinda sick tune for sure

Is it possible we can buy a pressure washer to give the tractors and other equipment a good clean??? 🧼
