Both Michin and Green won clean tonight over women higher on the card which tells you that HHH is trying to book this right. I get Wei's reservations over Green being too much of a comedy character but honestly, there's nothing wrong with that. Remember how much you guys liked Santino and the Honkemeter?
I don't think the IC title had any more status to lose at that point. It's different now. In general, all titles have meant more under the Levesque Era, especially the Men's IC and US. Biggest exception is the Women's Tag titles, which is why I think it's even more important for the Women's secondary titles to be taken seriously from the beginning. But again, we'll see how they book her (assuming she wins). -W
@@POSTWrestling I completely agree with your point, Wei, but at the same time, if all the titles are treated in the same, serious manner, doesn't that open up opportunity for one of the mid-card titles to be more fun and casual? The 24/7 title was really hot for a while but ultimately was too corny. What if there were a happy medium between corny and serious? I'm hoping that it's the Red, White and Green. Like you said, the effort in the booking will be the biggest factor.
I could see Io winning but I think it's like a 20% chance of that happening. I just don't think Liv needs the title anymore and Rhea vs Liv just kind of feels like it's bigger than the title at this point. Owens should win but he won't because they are gonna have Cody holding the title at the end. Chelsea is winning the the botch on Friday established that. Michin is just too sloppy in the ring and I don't think you want that as the establishment of the belt.
Chelsea Green over Michin to become the Inaugural WWE Women's United States Champion. I see Green winning it with the Ruff Ryder. Liv Morgan over Iyo Sky to retain the WWE Women's World Title. After the match, we will either see Rhea Ripley attack Liv Morgan to set up a Money In The Bank Cash-In by Tiffany Stratton or the return of Charlotte Flair. Gunther over Damian Priest and Finn Balor to retain the World Heavyweight Title. Gunther stacks and pins Balor and Priest for the finish. Drew McIntyre over Sami Zayn in a 3 Minute Squash Match with Jey Uso confronting McIntyre after the match. Kevin Owens over Cody Rhodes to become the new WWE Champion thanks to help from Randy Orton who accidentally hits Rhodes with the Belt as the Referee is down. Those are my predictions for Saturday Night's Main Event.
All the matches were predictably boring. Gunther who is wayyyyyyy overrated is going on another long drawn out title run. Wwe writers don't know how to end stories (finn and Damian, enough is enough already). Every match the announcement table is destroyed (taking away the wow factor)

Obviously liv wasn't going to lose the title without a match first wth rhea so that was corny af.
