I see Leo Carroll, and Henry Stevenson, both great supporting actors. They were excellent in North By Northwest and Little Lord Fauntleroy. And a young Eddie Albert, 41 and looking like 25! See Roman Holiday. I remember Phyllis Calvert from Kipps. It’s okay to be addicted to vintage movies!

Them were the days - The big houses ,the music , the dancing - While my Grannie was out stealing cabbages ,potatoes and old carrots for her mother to make soup so they didnt starve to death - Much like today when you think about it
Alex, after watching one video you put up, tonight I had to go hunting to see if you have put up any others. Happily, I found several, so am going to settle in to watch them one by one. Thank you !
I was born September 10th so I was a 3 year old child 👧 when this concerto was written. I don’t know 🤷♂️ who wrote it but it is beautiful 😍 😍😍🥰🥰🥰😚😚😚😇😇
I have a friend that resents it when she thinks that someone is trying to do something for me because she thinks she could do it better. One time my young granddaughter called and asked if she could help me. I told her that she could and my friend called and ask if she could help me that day too. I was moving to another town about 40 miles away so I needed all the help I could get. When she saw my granddaughter was there stayed about 15 or 20 minutes and took a wreath down that I had over the dining room door and left. After she left my granddaughter asked why she had been so hateful and upset when she had been here and I told her that she thought that I had called her to help me instead of calling her. I had lived in Fritch Texas. I was going to move to Amarillo Texas which was about 45 miles away. We both had the same chiropractor so we always went together. Or because we enjoyed being together if one of us needed to go we would always take my car 🚙 and go together. When I told her that I had definitely decided to move to Amarillo she said if I did wouldn’t come to see me. And she hasn’t. She wouldn’t come to see me. And she hasn’t. If someone who is coming to see myth TV. No.
WHY did we NOT get to see the end of this movie ? To not see the end of it makes me Furious. Whoever did this to us ought to be sued for breach of contract!!!😡😡😡😡😡
The color are blurred so much together it’s making the movie hard for me to watch. However, I want to see it so badly that I’ll watch it anyway☺️☺️☺️☺️
Valerie Hobson then Margaret Lockwood got most of the best films - then on the next rung of the ladder were Googie Withers ,Phyllis Calvert and Jean Kent
"Christopher, she doesnt understand." "She will Kate. She will." 😂 Awful writing. Worse acting. Who is this "actor"...who plays Christopher. His voice, his delivery...like a kid in a bad highschool play.
Annoyingly melodramatic. Poor acting. I read all of Rachel Fields books. I don't recall her writing being this bad. Christopher is a victim-type. "I'll do what father orders, but I'll die doing it!" (Then mean-daddy will be sorry, feel guilty forever!) Gag.
If the music weren't total crap it would a nice film. What whoever made the music in this film did; was take some excellent themes and dash them off and then present a mediocre piece of sh*t as a great masterpiece.
Loved the beginning...I grew up in a small town where the church bells would chime every hour....I miss that.
We still have the bells ring the hour in our town, noon and 6 we have music.

And Eddie just 2-3 years out of a horrible war and he was a major war hero ! Do read about him sometime; a great American!

Marvellous movie thanks for the upload 💞💕💞❣️❤️🥰
What I don’t understand is why everyone is determined to live in the dark ! My eyes would never be able to stand that.
Fuzzy dark at that!
@@deanhendrix4640 YEAH ! It IS fuzzy dark.
And too much music up until the point I had to leave. Aside from all that stuff it was great! 😆@@carolcole570

No storyline or cast details given at all. Thanks for that.

Would have been more enjoyable if they turned the lights on
And it wasn't fuzzy and had less music!
Way too much music.
The more I watch these old movies the more I hate the unnecessary background music that intrudes on the dialog in so many of them.@@jamesgray5067
Well put together movie though none of the characters were likable until the last ten minutes.
Blurry to watch 😢
😊
Pongan subtítulos en español gracias
Here's an idea!! Learn English!!😊
I can hardly see anything 🥴
That's okay as long as you can hear the music, lol.
Very confusing at the beginning. both Chris and Crissa appear to be identified as children of the Captain or manor Lord.
"Christopher, she doesnt understand."
"She will Kate. She will."

No. You just don't understand the European cultures of the last 300 years.
I had to leave it pretty early on because of too much music and it looking fuzzy to me!
