Oh these guys are fucking awesome, i stumbled upon them by accident when i heard this song. For me they kinda sound like a bridge between the old school heavy metal and new stuff, don't know exactly why but it just clicks. My favorite song would probably be Dragon, Why do you cry.
Thank you for the reaction! Unto Others has been called Goth Metal, but I also think they fall into the New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal (N.W.O.T.H.M.) category, and yes they do very much have an 80's feel to a lot of their songs. Formerly Idle Hands, the band had to change their name due to copyright reasons. In this song, Gabe Franco's vocal are pretty monotone, when not on the more aggressive side, and I think it fits very well with the lyrics, like someone that's just part of the machine (religion, military) and does what they are told, almost uncaring, Gabe also says that he would like people to come to their own conclusions about what the lyrics mean. This song is from the Album Strength, and I think the whole album is pretty tight. There is also a Strength II: Deep cuts, which features songs that they had to cut from the aforementioned album. Favorite song "Over Western Shores" 🤘🤘
nice. I really do like their sound. Reminds me of The Cure. Both albums Strength and Mana are awesome. best songs: Give me to the Night, Nightfall, Heroin.
season of mist is the record lable eivør signed with! new music coming up in 24, she is already recording. meanwhile please "wake me up" live at RTT. if you want to see the drummer going nuts on her vocals: this is your chance!
Wow, at first didnt like the monotone voice, but then it reminded me of Type O Negative, stuck with it, musically awesome, voice brought some tone, overall I really liked it. And a plus, eighties hair band vibe. 😁
This had good things. Good guitar, good drums, but I was not a fan of the vocalist, so it threw me off from truly enjoying it. I appreciate what they were trying to do, though. I am so ready for the channels future.
The first thing that came to mind for me was Sisters of Mercy, at least his voice. But with an interesting metal infused sound. Yeah, not bad. Probably not a band I would dive deeper, but a very enjoyable listen nonetheless....
Unique vocals.. I'm not sure if I'm a fan of it, but I'd have to hear more. Could be that I'm just not used to the style. The music had an old-school vibe to it, which i thought was pretty cool. Most of the lyrics i missed, but i take it the use of "God's work" is ironic or abusive in use of the term. I'll have to look at the lyrics in detail. Interesting sound. I'd have to hear other offerings from them to see if i could get into it. ❤ and ✌️
so 80's music and voice ^^ Loved it
After I got used to it, that voice was very intriguing. I liked the song more and more and it progressed.
Same, we are on the same page.
Very interesting, kind of a mix of the 80's sound and more modern metal. Loved the sound of that bass, really gritty and hard-driving.
Yea it was soooo good
Yay, I actually saw these guys once, they pulled off a pretty cool show 🤘

Peyton Parrish Ragnarok . Put on your armor Wolff.
Hi, would you please react to Warmoon Lord-In Perennial Twilight? It's one of my favourite songs by one my favourite bands from Finland.
