  • I’m an IBEW second year apprentice and just recently got this bag, I believe it’s well worth the price for the quality and warranty.
I made this because I couldn’t find many good videos on the ot mc and wanted to help anyone out wanting to get one.

Klein makes a multi pass through nutdriver so you can carry one tool and save space in your bag.

I mean whether you're bringing your own power tools or not to a job site is besides the point. You still need to bring it from the tool room to where you're working, so

Why shouldn't you be bringing power tools to work? Wtf lmao i do hvac/refrigeration service its impossible to do my job without "power tools".

Because no one (especially apprentices) shouldn’t have to break the bank providing 200$+ tools. That’s the contractors job. Owning your own business though is different, and even then you can write it off as a business expense

@@Eckster93 oh go fuck yourself. I’m all about fuck the company that’s making millions off of my abilities but some shit is goofy that y’all be bitching about. Sure you right, I’m about right at the 6 figure mark without really working OT or depending on commission, I do commercial/industrial. There’s a lot I’ll stand my ground on but tools are not it so much. I don’t find much a issue with having your own basic power tools, not speaking on vacuum pumps, recovery machines, torches, and so forth. That being said, if my tool breaks then the company is replacing it, and I make them replace it with a better tool every time. If I leave, I’m taking the shit with me too.

How do you figure he’s not? Because he doesn’t supply $300 power tools to do a job for a company that makes millions off of his labor? He’s an employee not a contractor. If you owned a construction business you wouldn’t dream of starting it without power tools. Especially since they rent them to themselves as a sister company first earning twice the money and then writing it off as a business expense. Why should that be the responsibility of the guys making less than $100k?
