Epic Pickup Truck Camper Makeover: What $1500 Can Do! - Part 2 - Power

Last year I sold my RV at the beginning of the year.
I needed a place to stay and sleep while working at the drop zone. My initial plan was to sleep in my station wagon. Then my father in law died and I ended up buying his old truck.
This is the transformation of that truck as a truck camper for me to sleep in at the drop zone and while doing parks on the air far from home.
In this one I build the power distribution box that will let me use my 280Ah battery as a means to power the stuff that I will have in the back of this truck.

Looking good Carlos. Having 2 types of fuses inline makes for more spares you gotta carry with you, and those glass fuses aren't always easy to find.

I have added spare fuses of both types to my kit and push comes to shove, even if I don't have the fuse I need I'd rather have the protection. I may rewire this later to make it cleaner and if I do I'll do away with the short glass type fuse.

sanding drum on a rotary tool works well for cleaning up the holes as well.
