The originals are always better. I LOVE the Nujabes version but this just has a whole feeling of its own. Forever grateful for Nujabes putting me on to this amazing song.

もう10年ほど前の話になるのですが、埼玉にあるショッピングモールで、クラムボンがライブをしてくれたことがあります。その時にFolkloreが演奏され、観に来ていたお客さんと共に「ラララ……」と歌いました。吹き抜けになっているフロア中に声が響くように聴こえて、とても感動しました。今でもその光景は忘れられません。
nujabesの「Imaginary Folklore」から知りました。
バイト終わりにバイクで帰っている途中、渋滞した環七で夕日とそれに照らされている沢山の車を背景に、たまたまこの曲が流れた。何故かわからないけど涙が出そうになった。歌詞というより雰囲気、メロディー、景色とピッタリだったな。
