This can happen too after you somehow mess up a driver install, just do a local reinstall of Windows after the Advanced Settings Screen pops up after 3 reboots
There is easy way to fix this.Restart your PC when the 1st logo appears click f2 you will see the bios menu now go to system configuration then Sata operation now you will see bunch of option to the right chose Ahci mode and boom fixed. Edit: This fix only works in old pc
@@gt2phantom Yes and I did have Windows 10 64bit installed on my drive and maybe I will try rebuilding the MBR to fix this. The motherboard I have is a Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3 and it has no UEFI Bios just Legacy Bios!!!

A boot device is also the local disk (C:/) on your computer so it isn't a motherboard issue
