It's so funny that Heihachi survived once again from a volcano, and now Jin, Kazuya, Lee and Lars can't catch a break. Meanwhile, Reina and Kuma are both happy to see Heihachi alive. The man is indeed UNKILLABLE 🤣 As far as I know, Heihachi's new VA was also the VA of M. Bison on SF6 and also Heihachi's VA on Tekken Bloodline
LORE DUMP/SPECULATION: The main scar on Heihachi's chest is no doubt a mark from when Kazuya punched him in the chest and "killed" him back in Tekken 7's story. People are drawing comparisons between Heihachi's Rage Art in Tekken 8, and one of Kazuya's main moves in the game; His Parricide Fist attack. Which as on-the-nose as the move name is, it's vaguely the move Kazuya used to finish off his dad in Tekken 7. It's all beautifully ironic in a lot of ways considering that Heihachi is using it now in Tekken 8 to finish off his son; After his son used it to supposedly kill him in 7. Likely as ironic revenge for Kazuya using a move that Heihachi probably taught him years ago. After all, it would be amazingly fitting that the Mishima Style of fighting karate would have a move named Parricide Fist in it's repertoire. It's also ironic that Kazuya got all of his bodily scars from being thrown off of a cliff, and supposedly killed back before the first Tekken game's story. And now, Heihachi is all scarred up from being thrown off a cliff, and supposedly killed by his son in Tekken 7. If story telling design is anything to go on, Heihachi's new scars will likefly last awhile. God I love Tekken, it's the little stuff man.
This is like, the third time he comes back from the death? Kazuya threw him off a cliff in Tekken 1, a bunch of Jack robots exploded while grabbing him in between Tekken 4's ending and Tekken 5's opening and now Tekken 7's volcano. BTW The first guy he fights in the video, Lars, is also his son. The second guy, Lee, is his adopted son.
Also if you notice when heihachi's interaction with kazuya you see his chest glow....that glow is the area where Kazuya punched him that nearly killed him tekken 7....i think it's some kinda devils mark
well in tekken 5 he literally says mishimas are indestructible, so thats a whole thing. but the whole story behind is something else. also it gives me a reason to play T8 now. ive been playing him since the 1st tekken in 1995, and im not going to stop as long as hes in the game lol
If you look at his chest closely. He has a mark on it, that Kazuya gave to him at Tekken 7. Seriously the reason they brought him back, is because he's the most popular character. Just like how they brought Bison back from the dead. In honesty it really ruins the storyline that was being well developed since Heihachi and Bison were dead in the previous game. I was excited to see a brand new rivalry between Jin and Kazuya, but now Heihachi is back. It kinda ruined that path they were going for.
Despite bringing him back from the dead being a controversial choice, his gameplay and design still rocks! Speaking of fighting games, please react to Thorgi's Arcade in the future! His Build the Roster series(Starting with MvC 4 and the latest being What If Capcom made KOF) and Fighting Game Retrospectives(Starting with Rival Schools and the latest being the entire Street Fighter franchise) are beyond amazing, fun and informative for newcomers and veterans alike!
Heihachi's Sons (excluding Kuma) and Grandson all want him dead, while Reina has an interaction with him where she technically just says "Yes, Father" when he spoke about his plans for her. Reminds me of someone who trusted Heihachi, got betrayed and was shot on the head. Would like to recommend you guys check out Fear and Hunger and maybe it's sequel F&H: Termina. Worm Girl has a good video titled "What actually happened in the dungeons of Fear & Hunger" would highly recommend that to check out, she also has one for the sequel. Omni World has some shorts about quick lore of the characters, NPCs, and enemies.
Heihachi from what I’ve seen has similar moves to Reina with him having Wind God and Lightning God stances. But I feel like Heihachi is gonna replace Reina as the more viable Mishima.
Like a Dragon waking up from its slumber in Lava, The Psycho Grandpa is woken from his Hellish Sleep with New Techniques and a even bigger Burning Ego to Punish his Family and when Heihachi turns Orange you can see the Punch Mark Kazuya gave Him, deep down we knew he would Somehow Return, the Question is however if the Next Character is Kazumi?
If you look closer to color sheme in the end of the trailer, you can guess next char. Winter colored in orange but Kazumi more white ed and red allready there (Lidia) 🤔
Heihachi should have stayed dead for this game just like Bison should have stayed dead for at least one game. These game companies nowadays seem to have no idea of what good storytelling is! They only focus on DLC hype and syphoning extra money from their playerbase.
no bias since hei is my favorite character, but he is literally the face of tekken, it all started with him, and everyone loves the old man, bison is cool n all but he does not come anywhere close to the iron grandpa
In T7 when Kazuya delivered the finishing blow on Heihachi, hitting him in the chest so hard, that it had something to do with the mark on his chest.
😎👍🙂
Jin, Kazuya, Lee, Lars:
"Dammit! Why won't you just die?!"
Reina and Kuma:
"DADDYYYYYYYY! 😄💖 "
I read the first bit and thought of Austin Powers and that one gal in the 2nd movie. "Why won't you die?!"
Too Jin, Kazuya, Lee, Lars... because you need to respect me😅....
Too Reina & Kuma....daddy's back
“That’s his grandson right?”
Just love it, when she asks that

The old man is still alive and kicking 😂 Mishimas really are invincible 💪🏽
😎🤘
Kazuya: "How many times do I have to teach you a lesson old man?!"
How many times do we have to teach you this lesson old man!
You’d be surprised seeing Heihachi come back to life, but the story expansion is what I’m curious about as well. Reina would be pleased somehow…
Fighting game villains never stay dead lmaoooo
Ngl Heihachi’s design and gameplay looks sick!
Heihachi be like:
fall from a cliff - morning exercises,
a bomb - slight tickling,
a magma - hot health bath for the skin
Fun fact l, the person who voices Heihachi is the same one who voices a certain vampire in Guilty Gear Strive(Jp dub).

Thanks for sharing this lore dump 🤩
Heihachi is literally baki at this point.
Like a certain someone would say UNKILLABLE.
You can’t kill the King of the Iron Fist. At least, not for long.
In the words of the great Clement:
UN-KILL-A-BLE
😎🤘
I love heihachi but this is like the 3rd time he's come back from the dead, he needs to stay gone 😂😭
😂
There is no other 70+ year old man in fiction more badass than this⚡️👊🏿

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Don't worry, pretty sure he does too.

Tekken 20
@@SnipingIsFun no f way, probably Tekken9 I think he's going to die of old age
