Does your G80 / G82 need to be ECU unlocked in order to use the manifold? I realize if you are using the port injectors its likely needed, but the manifold & CSF Heat exchanger both combined should be a significant improvement in intake temps. While Ill eventually get my ECU unlocked, I would like to go ahead and install the manifold until then for the other benefits... Its an expensive part, but absolutely vital to reach optimal performance down the line. Until then, there are still some healthy benefits from it, so def curious if an ECU unlock is needed to install the part... Looking forward to part 2! Thanks for the content!
My 1972 Datsun 240z had a phenolic spacer between the runner and the carb to function as a thermal insulator. This is nothing new, you are just using a different material. KIYLEX is also not made by an aerospace vendor, its made by KTN Thermo Dynamics which manufactures automotive parts from this material. Also could not find any patents for CSF or KTN and this material. Also could not find a trademark registry for KIYLEX. Seems like a lot of unnecesaary hype for a polymer with likely a low thermal conductivity and high glass temp.

Nice to meet you at the golf course today!
4:26 you patented a phenolic spacer? 🤔
It’s all marketing, it looks nice but that’s about it for nearly 7k 😂
Any before and after vids showing power difference?
Looks incredible. Definitely a great upgrade to keep temps down and help the car recover faster. Did y’all see any gains with hp and torque?
We bought that exact yellow M3 lol. Took that vinyl wrap on the front off.

Love this channel
Thank you! 👊
What is the full skid plate that’s on the front bumper??
Awesome
Thank you!
What is the bleed procedure on these cars?
Let me ask can turbo cars use water meth injection to cool down intake temps ?
Yes, 100% that’s one of the main reasons water meth injection is used 👌🏻

Exactly
I think I’d rather blow the intake manifold than pay 6600. Is their not anything cheaper Jesus fucking Christ . Arm and a leg much??
There's more benefits over the OE manifold than just being able to hold higher boost. The price for an OEM replacement manifold is just as much.
Gotta pay to play.
