Amazing interview and glad to see Rev. Mr. Ingham but its almost impossible to watch with the unskippable advertisements. Barely 8 minutes in and had to sit through 4 minutes of ads. Especially irritating when you cannot skip ads with immodesty in them. Thought you should know.

one of the expenses I pay every single month that I credit as one of my most valuable services is RUclips Premium. Zero ads, but the channels you support still get revenue sharing. Skipping the ads can be done very easily on your part by paying for such a service. At the very minimum it would prevent you from being "very irritated" which can't be good for your health. :-)
If you insist on using a free service on the Internet today, you're going to get ads, many of them possibly unpleasant. Thanks for the heads-up on the immodesty. We had some blocked categories already identified but I went in after your comment and added a few more that might relate to what you saw.

Just like joining the Marine Corps, if you do not take the first step a do something about your goal, you just might regret not taking that chance.

I have recently come back to the faith. My father was raised traditional and my mother was raised novus ordo. My father always told me that as a lay man he couldn’t say the novus ordo was invalid or couldn’t fulfill my Sunday church obligation. He warned me about Vatican council 2, what it changed, that it was potentially very flawed, and we always attended a Latin mass. But I wanted to hear from some people who follow this channel. Is it sinful to attend a novus ordo mass? Will it still fulfill my obligation to attend mass on Sunday? I currently live in a high elevation mountain town, and the closest Latin mass is an hour and thirty minutes away and starts at 8:30 in the morning. But there is a novus ordo mass about 20 minutes away. I’m also trying to convert my boyfriend who I’ve been with for 3 years. I’m afraid making him wake up and drive that early to a mass much farther away will push him away from the faith. Someone please help me. I don’t wanna lose him but I also wanna follow the correct way to god. If someone would be willing to have a dialogue with me it would be greatly appreciated. God bless.

No, it's not a sin. The Novus Ordo is just as valid as the TLM. This channel is sedevacantist and is in schism with the Catholic church.

With this channel it’s about whether the Seat of the Vicar of Christ has been vacated since Vatican 2, in my humble opinion. Can a man who teaches heresy sit in the Chair of Peter, and for this channel, if I can speak for them, the answer is no.Yes, your father was correct, and saw the errors and understands the NO mass is not the true mass, but the Latin Mass, although the true Mass, it is not the solution to the problem of V2. Bishop Sanborn, I believe has said that V2 documents need to be burned in the public square. Many TLM priests, with jurisdiction from the diocese, are still obedient to the “pope”. So if the pope writes a universal ordinary magisterial teaching, they are bound by obedience. If you research the origins of this channel, you’ll understand how they came to this conclusion. Objectively, Francis has shown to be heretical in his teachings (all it takes is one), but it goes back to ecumenism and other documents from the 1960s which are anti-catholic. For those of us born in the eye of the V2 storm, many of whom left the church completely, we feel betrayed that the church is a Protestant look-alike. I remember them throwing away the Baltimore Catechism, and due to my willful ignorance, never paid attention to the changes. Your journey is like many, but God has given you graces to see this. Most people I know are blind to what has happened. God bless

@ Thank you so much for your response. If I ever were to move and be close to a Latin mass, it would be the mass I attend. But what I think you’re saying, and please correct me if I’m wrong, is that this channel talks about the errors of Vatican council 2 and of the modern church and pope today. They don’t say the novus ordo mass is invalid, correct? They simply point out it has very possible flaws/errors and it’s not a sin to attend? It does fulfill Sunday obligation? But that we should stick to tradition and revert back to it? Is that correct?

@@oksure9137 During the pandemic, my NO priests were denying the Eucharist on the tongue, then yelling at people for being unkind, the Monsignor would sit in his chair while laypeople gave communion, families who were close friends were not to be seen at mass again, priests quoting Luther in their homilies, list goes on…I am ashamed I was not paying attention earlier in my life. Also, I had some strange wedding experiences with family members which made me very concerned about my faith (all in the NO church). My daughter would say to me “dad, priests are just flawed people like you and me”. That would disarm me and make me self-reflect. When I started reading (pre-1900) books, encyclicals, saints, doctors of the church, it became evident how the church is not the same. I stumbled on this channel during Covid, looking for sermons which had clarity. Pray the rosary, daily. Meditate on the 15 decades, with a devotion to our Blessed Mother, and it will help you understand the situation of the Church. Your questions are legitimate, but complicated and I’m not a theologian. A conversation with a good spiritual director is probably best. God bless.

@@Mike_and_Ike-xb3io Thank you for your response. I have attended the novus ordo mass close to me a few times now, and I haven’t seen anything that raises a big red flag. The priest gives communion on the tongue, there’s no alter girls, no secular music being played, so far he hasn’t quoted any person like Luther or other questionable people, and he says he attends the Latin mass when he visits his home country. I feel guilty not attending church, I’m afraid it’s sinful. So I think for now, I will keep attending the novos ordo mass near me until I move locations or a Latin mass becomes available nearby. I’ve heard many people and priests on RUclips say that they can’t definitively call the novos ordo invalid. It’s a slippery slope and a hard call to make outright. I think for now and before Im able talk to traditional priests on the matter, the novos ordo I attend doesn’t appear to have anything concerning to me, aside from it not being the TLM. If I notice anything that is questionable, concerning, or worrying, in this NO church, I will find another church. Thank you for responding to my questions and giving me advice. If I could get your advice one last time and ask, do you think my choice to continue attending the NO mass near me is a bad idea? I’m only attending a NO because I don’t have a TLM nearby. I’m doing it out of fear that not attending a mass at all is sinful, and the mass I have been attending doesn’t appear to have anything deeply concerning.
