He who knew no sin became sin for us. The epistles specifically speaks of God's wrath toward sin. There are three major atonement theories and all have merit. But Anselmic atonement is legitimate
The current Pope is the Antichrist. And the Roman Catholic Church are corrupt. Exploited Christ for their own gains. Shame shame shame.
I love the Catholic faith, the only Divine true faith in the world. Thank you Father
And no man comes to the father but through me.
So, as it becomes more difficult to survive in this world, the more unity there should be among Catholics? Thus far, Catholics are more and more divided. Look at all the groups who do not accept one another as Catholic, particularly among traditional Catholics. Is this not a sign Catholics have gone soft? Are we in the Chastisement? For most Catholics, the answer must be no. We have time to argue endlessly over the pope, sedevacantism, degree of sedevacantism, whose sacraments valid, is this man or that man really a priest or a bishop? Catholics follow Bp. A, Bp. C, Bp. C, etc. Bp. A refuses Communion to followers of Bp. B. and C. Bp. B. turns away followers of Bps. A. and C. In turn, Bp. C. rejects followers of Bps. A. and B. The laity argue amongst themselves to the point of breaking up families and even marriages. Individuals find themselves on the outs with Bps. A, B, and C. All that’s left is the n.o. and connected groups, of which most want no part. They become “Home Aloners” then watch their children lose the faith or never get it in the first place. Souls become disillusioned, outcasts everywhere, without Mass, priest, or Sacraments, without the social and spiritual support of other Catholics. A few turn to Orthodoxy or some type of conservative Protestantism, but many gradually give up. No, they don’t become atheists or openly turn to evil. Instead, they become de facto “just me and Jesus in the wilderness” Protestants. Nestorianism is no longer a concern, neither is Arianism. Arius and Nestor have been replaced many times over up until this day. In the past, it was fairly easy for those who desired the true faith, just look to Peter and the Apostles, and the unbroken chain that followed them. Since Vatican II, the true chain has become ever increasingly difficult to discern from amongst all the false branches attached to it by evil men whose true master is the devil. When the very bishops and the pope himself, if he be present, are not ultimately attached to Christ, when the theologians and so-called experts are mistaken or frauds, what can the ordinary lay person do? History repeats itself. The situation in the Church is like that of the time of civil war among the Israelites, wherein the tribe of Benjamin stood opposed and beaten down from among the others. After much killing, there arose an uneasy compromise pleasing to neither God nor Israel. “In those days there was no king in Israel: but everyone did that which seemed right to himself.” Judges 21:25 Read also, Judges chapter 17. In both chapters 17 and 21, see how Israel (the Church) acts when there is no clear king (no pope, has no head). Are our times alike?

The false papacy is BULLSHIT ! The cardinals , bishops , and others are the the defections of the true message of Jesus Christ ! Finger pointing is the sign of these BULLSHITTERS .
What does the comment on the second Vatican mean? 17:55 The 2nd Vatican Council is not legitimate?
Yes, that’s what he’s saying.
Exactly. That's the sedevacantist position.
Thanks, i like these! Will look forward to the next "Questions fir he Rector."
Received the calendar this past week. Thank you for all the work done to prepare a truly PRACTICAL calendar. Please pray 3 Hail Marys for the Seminary and for Bp. Sanborn, Fr. Eldracher and Steven Heiner.❤
As a life long Catholic I cam honestly say I've never prayed for the church so much in all my years. God save us from wolves in sheep's clothing.
It is so wonderful, comforting and educational to listen to these talks. Sometimes to take notes, other times to listen. I can't believe I found sede clergy and educated laity.
Well, there have been bad popes. There's even been a tiny handful who expressed or caved in to a heresy, but each and every one (until now) has repudiated the heresy once shown his error. Of couse, Pope Francis is a multiple offender and has never demonstrated the humility required for repentance. He has even doubled down. Quite unlike Peter in Acts when reproved by Paul (per the circumcision controversy).
Sedevacantist ?
Do you still keep the Friday abstinence during the octaves of Christmas, Epiphany, Easter and Pentecost?
Abstinence is only removed if there is a Holy Day of Obligation on the day.
Answer me this, Catholic, why does one have to pay the church for one's sin, 'penance', when Christ paid for us all? Just trying to understand the reasoning. Thank you.
One pays nothing for the sacrament of penance, nor any other sacrament; that would be the sin of simony.
Jesus gave the apostles and the Church the power to forgive sins or retain sins. Ordination and apostolic succession passes on these powers to ordained Catholic priests.
@@SharonGalgerud After his resurrection Jesus appeared to his disciples and said: “receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive people’s sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven “ - John 20:22-23. Thus Our Lord gave them the power to forgive sins.
Penance seasons historically.... 1) Carmelite Penance year round: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 2) Lent 3) Apostles Lent (Summer Lent): Friday after Octave of Corpus Cristi to Vigil of St. Peter and Paul. Follow daily Liturgical calender for PENANCE except Sunday and 1st Class. 4) Dormition Lent: No alchohol, Ascetic Abstinence and Monastic Fasting from 1 August to 14 August. Wine and oil are permitted on Saturday and Sunday and fish, wine, and oil are permitted on Transfiguration. 5) St. Michael Lent: The Assumption untill Feast of St. Michael. Monastic Fasting only Monday to Saturday (40 days) 6) St. Marten Advent: 12 November to Epiphany. Penance Days followed Liturgical calender Monday to Friday. (40 days not including 1st Class Feast days).
Thank you for taking time to share all this practical information!❤
Things concerning Catholicism have been degrading since Novus Ordo was installed in 1969. I’m 78 and I went to Catholic school taught by Benedictine nuns, went to Latin Mass everyday. I was very upset when they changed everything and I don’t even go now because I absolutely don’t like what Francis is pushing. I think he is trying to completely destroy the authority that the Church used to have over morality in the entire World. We had The League of Decency who reviewed movies and kept them clean, children could safely watch tv shows and movies. Archbishop Fulton Sheen had a very popular tv show. Now we never go to movies and haven’t for years, mostly filth is produced in Hollywood. Some good films are made but mostly there aren’t any. I don’t think very many people even recognize good entertainment anymore because they think so differently about morality than me. I have a little granddaughter that doesn’t need to learn how to do the nasty act at the age of 5 or 6. I think we only have taken her to one movie and the voice was Ellen DeGeneres which was Finding Dory and it was cute. I find out when my children were little that our parish priests were having G*y S*x parties with young men in the rectory, it was all over tv., I said that’s it, I’m not supporting that.
Find a traditional sedevacante priest or bishop that uses the Mass from before Vatican 2. If you need, I can give assistance and advice.
There ARE people, mostly elderly, who DO have the Faith, have NOT bought into the blessing of ss, d&r couples, l. w/o m. etc, who don’t realize the extent to which it has invaded, especially in more conservative parishes. They way they were catechized had more to do with obedience than actual understanding of dogma. Should they show any interest in the “old” Mass, their priests are swift to misinform them about who is and is not in schism and tell them the traditional movement is not Catholic. Coming from an era when, If Father says this or that, the only correct response is “Yes, Father,” and that settles it. You don’t dare to ask for an explanation or raise any further questioning. This was generally sufficient because the priests were trustworthy and the greater part of society, while not Catholic, supported and lived by basic Christian moral standards, at least by Natural Law.
Unfortunately, they swoon over Ratzinger's decrying of the liturgical reform as something that wasn't properly executed and think that made him, "traditional"
Lots of water was needed for Our Lord to change it into wine
Calenders are changing
Will the good Bishops take us back to who we truly are ?
My question to Bishop remains . What to do now ...millions of us faithful around the world did not know that we changed to a parallel church . We live with Latin Mass in our hearts and longing for how we grew up...but here we are with Novus Ordo . We hardly recognize Our Church ....what to do ?

One word: MOVE!
As people represent the churches,, so does GOD who sends His chosen ones into the world checking how the world will treat them. Those who denied them, persecuted them, or anger them, face God's wrath.
Irish stew, lamb, carrots 🥕, 🌰 onions, and potatoes 🥔 is much more popular, in Ireland, on Saint Patrick's day, than cornbeef, and cabbage. Thank you, Bishop Sanborn, and Stephen. Seat of Wisdom, pray for us.
Wonderful talk, thank you, your Excellency. Tom Messe in Florida
Thank you so much, Your Excellency and Stephen. May Our Blessed Lord continue to keep and guide everyone at MHT Seminary always.
On the Friday after Thanksgiving Catholics were first dispensed in 1958 by Pope Pius XII. Before then, it was a regular Friday. A tradition from my Irish father’s family was to have turkey sandwiches on toast with cranberry sauce at about 11:30 PM before going to bed. One year in the midst of the Depression, the family had had all the family for Thanksgiving to their house in Richmond Hill. There was lots of left over turkey so grandma wrapped a cotton towel over the remaining turkey carcass and placed it, still on the platter, just outside the rear door that was enclosed with screened window. She would later cut it up for soup, more meat, save the drippings for gravy, etc. The bird didn’t fit as it was in the icebox, but it was cool enough outdoors to prevent it from going bad. Around 11:15, she went to retrieve the carcass and was dismayed to find a large orange tom cat gnawing away at it. Somehow, the cat was clever enough to climb on the porch roof and reach the window sill, which he’d torn open to get at the feast inside. Never one to get unduly excited, grandma opened the door and shooed the cat away. She brought the turkey inside, cut off the area where the cat had been chewing, washed it off, and made sandwiches as usual. Saying nothing, she served everyone. Nobody noticed a thing. Since it was after midnight by the time the house had emptied out she decided to wait until morning to cut up the carcass, but where to keep it overnight? Always resourceful, she rewrapped the bird on the platter and stuck it in a secure location, the floor of the front passenger seat of the car. Grandpa was first to leave in the morning and took the car because it was Friday, job site on Long Island. Shortly after leaving, he reappeared in the kitchen bearing the turkey on the platter. My aunt and Grandmother were about to explain, but Grandpa gave the “don’t you dare” look. He silently placed the platter on the table, turned and walked out. Whatever the explanation, he didn’t want to hear it at 5:15 AM! Grandma eventually ‘fessed up about the alley cat, maybe ten years after the fact.
Wonderful family story! Thank you for sharing.❤
Now this is OBJECTIVE TRUTH!!!!
Yay!!!! Bishop and Steven are back!!!! Thxs
Yes I'm happy too....am learning from them...blessings from small town at the coast of S Africa 🌍
Yes we went to Masson St.Patricks day and then my mom made Irish lamb stew (yummy). Our Irish in my family came from Dublin. Dunn & Donnelly.
It seems that ember days are synonymous with the beginning of the new seasons, such as the beginning of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Would this be true?
God gives you all the graces you need to avoid sin- all of it, he expects you to cooperate willingly with his grace. Obstacle: our weakness and fallen nature, we are easily seduced, tempted, distracted, derailed... etc., but his grace does the work in us: holiness, perfection requires perseverance to the end- perseverance in abandoning yourself to the divine will and mercy especially when we fall.
Amen Makes Since
Its called the honest truth .
Which one is biblical
The Catholic view. Vicarious atonement that Protestants believe actually separates the trinity
I'm a Protestant and I've never even heard of that. God's anger on Jesus? That's not we believe.
That is NOT the Protestant idea of the crucifixion. Not.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤JESUS CHRIST❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤THE GREATEST LOVE STORY OF ALL TIME❤❤❤❤❤AND ITS TRUE❤❤❤❤❤❤😊❤AMEN❤❤❤
"He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross" -- 1 Peter 2:24
Yes, like the lamb at Passover, God’s Lamb (Jesus) was the Passover Sacrifice to God. He is a sin offering, and offers himself in pure obedience to the Father. Like the Bishop says, and is quite right, that Jesus, through his obedience to the Father atones for our sins. This is also called Vicarious Satisfaction.
1 Timothy 3:16
Actually, there are several valid understandings of the redemption, each with biblical warrant. In Catholic seminaries all four are presented with the understanding that each is a lens toward grasping a great mystery. Each Protestant denomination, including quasi-Christian sects like Mormonism, typically embraces only one, the one taught by its founder. The Catholic (and Orthodox) traditions are richer, more full, more comprehensive as befitting a God who far transcends us.
Whats he done wrong ???😢
16:20 “The sting of the flesh may easily be helped, so long as girls and women are to be found.” (page 154)
Why is he against Pope Francis?
1)Francis is not a real pope. 2)Francis is a puppet of free masonry.
This bishop is apparently a sedevacantist, of an extremist sect. However, the great majority of orthodox theologians in communion with Rome criticize Pope Francis for Fiducia Supplicans. Likewise, Eastern Orthodox patriarchs and bishops have stated Pope Francis has set back ecumenical relations by giving encouragement to the sin of homosexual practice. Orthodox Protestants are also appalled. Francis is the first pope ever to open the door to heresy without recanting.
Amen❤
Jesus choose to take on the debt of mankind's sins as the only way for our reconciliation with the Father, if so, how do we repay Jesus His sacrifice?
And Jesus said, Father, why have you forsaken me? For God did so to let Satan take Jesus to hell with all the sins of man. Jesus knowing this, still kept the promise of salvation even though He was condemned to hell. God saw Jesus' faithfulness to Him and granted one wish to Jesus. Jesus said, forgive them Father, for they know not what they do.
I'm 50, I returned to Christ in the Catholic Church over 2 years ago after being absent from the church since age 13 and being absent from faith in Jesus since my mid-twenties. I count myself as 'born again'. And as being born again into the Catholic faith, I confessed over 30 years of sins to my priest, but that doesn't mean I continue living the same life as before, as if my priest is a fast food drive-thru window. The point is, not to sin again and be mindful of sins. Yes, I'm still going to mess up, after all I'm a sinner. We all are. But as a sinner, I need to try not to. Every single one of us has to try. From what I understand, Protestants believe that they can continue sinning without repercussions because they believe that Jesus sacrificed Himself for all sins. Not just for original sin. The thing is, confession is in scripture as is doing good works. Jesus said, not 7 times but 77 times. Jesus also said, who has fed me, clothed me, visited me in jail? Those to my left are goats and those to my right are my sheep. The Catholic Church teaches all of scripture, while the Protestant denominations teach partial scripture, each one of them different.
I've never heard of anyone saying that they are free to sin but am concerned of some beliefs that could steer that way. Scripture is very clear saying " God forbid that we should continue to sin"
That would seem to contradict the brutality of the crucifixion.
