I'm going to try this in hopes that its similar to Cing's old games...Man, I wish they could do a Hotel Dusk 3 for Switch. Very sad to google and see that the writer of Hotel Dusk, Rika Suzuki, has not done anything since Cing went bankrupt.
@@wrathpsp I've been getting too many games on sale so I had fallen off from this. But I actually just picked it back up a week ago. I'm still reserving judgment until I roll credits but I like this style of game. I like how there's several mini stories that feed into the main plot. The overall presentation is really well done - its disappointing to not see many discussions about the game online. It's interesting to see what I expect to be a Japanese perspective of America (what's a warrant?? Haha) but it's all fun. My worry when I finish this game is that there doesn't appear to be more in this series released. I say check it out if you're curious!

The beginning was okay .... but playing forward was abit annoying and didn’t let you go in the pattern you wanted to in breaking the story down with his detective work..... it had to be played in the order that the game wanted you to play in even if you had to go over the same things again...... again ...agaaaaaainnnnn... it’s kinda gets dragged on much longer then you anticipate.......and I have played a game similar like this but it was a shoujo samurai theme .... I was really hyped about playing it at first since I’m a fan of the Detective Conan Series ( Case Closed) ..I would really just watch the anime series or read the manga then playing it like this.....it was going great in the beginning but then sighhh

I've been looking for an English physical copy of this game for Switch for MONTHS now, and I planned on resorting to buying online, but most of then are either for PS4 or for the Japan edition. Question: do you happen to know if there is an option to change the language to English in the Japanese edition of this game? Because i'll end up buying just that if I still can't find one.
There isn’t for the Japanese version :( you’ll just have to wait till they pop up. You might even want to set up an alert on Play Asia in case they ever get back in stock. It’ll show up eventually because they’re out there :) good luck!
I thought the theme and music, even the art was beautiful and would make for a great game, but it barely had anything to do with anything in the title or the theme. The gameplay is clunky, the choices irrelevant, and the ending deplorable. Spoiler alert: it leaves you on a cliffhanger and you never even get to finish the main plot and find out anything useful. The entire game is taken up by this side mystery that loosely is tangled up (seemingly) with the main plot but we have no clue if it is or not because the game stops after the side mystery is solved. Wtf yo.

It’s in NA only right now with EU date sometime next month I think. The PC version is coming soon worldwide.
