hyoyeon (the actor u recognized) is cupid, and newjeans are other angels that are basically watching. everywhere hyoyeon goes, people end up falling in love around her because she is cupid. however she falls in love with a human (if you noticed she couldnt see herself in the mirror since she isnt human) and becomes human herself for him(at the end of the mv where she can feel the rain). in the bside mv youll notice that newjeans is always watching as hyoyeon is with the guy, and they soon snitch on her to their master (im not quite sure what the name of his role is but he’s the head over newjeans and cupid). he then punishes hyoyeon and makes hyoyeon an angel again so the guy can no longer see her anymore and ends up falling in love with someone else. hyoyeon becomes very upset and also seems to be very upset with newjeans at the end of the bside mv. i tried to cover the storyline between both the mvs hopefully this helps
