As an Uruguayan living in Uruguay (por favor, sáquenme de Latinoamérica) I find both this video and the Western Europe. one very appealing for my future plans of going to Europe, even if it means to go to war... IF I ever get the enough money to get out of here in the first place.
Really cool and informative videos.
You trying to escape to Europe and cubans trying to escape to Uruguay, irony
Luckily Uruguay is not very corrupt
You're a pretty lucky bastard if you live in Uruguay, which happens to be the least corrupted country in LATAM (even way less corrupted than most of Eastern Europe countries). Your country is also lucky enough to be going against the political situation across almost all LATAM countries (left-wing wave and sh*tty left-wing presidents).
Greetings from this sh*thole called Colombia.
Lol, you guys are all pathetic. “Please let me escape!!!” Acting like Uruguay is some sort of hellhole. You live in Montevideo, not exactly Afghanistan or North Korea. I come from a "first world" country, Belgium, and think that pretty much the entirety of European kids have a very similar kind of childhood, where all the scenes and themes are the same but there'll just be slightly different cultures with different interpretations on different religions. I grew up very poor by my country's standards, around big, grey, depressing apartment blocks that are all stacked close to one another. Belgium is right under the list of alcohol consumption, right under Lithuania, so we also had a lot of the local drunkards/people who were known for excessively drinking or their outrageous behaviour caused by their excessive drinking, pretty cheap food/cigarettes depending on where you shopped, local gangs/drug trade and black markets everywhere in the forms of night shops and hash bars (bars with a back room where you can buy coke/hash/weed/other drugs). Yeah, it is quite ironic that Moscow landlords prefer Belarussian and Ukrainian people to their own nonrussian compatriots.
That Portugal line felt good man thanks. My family last century migrated from estarern to western europe and I was born here. I did consider scouting eastern countries to migrate but since february this year I think I'm not mooving too soon. You're a knowledgeable man Gattsu, and I think our cultures are still similar in some way, or maybe just my upbringing was similar, I feel we'd have much to relate and talk about. This was a great video chief, may we one day not have to worry about wars, especially in our doorstep
As a Swiss man who visited krakow im curious about Poland. How different is it to Eastern Europe described in this video? Or is it really dependent to the region and which are the good and bad regions?
Im from a place in texas where the alcohol problem got so bad they banned alcohol in my county for 4 years, so i relate to east europes, alcoholism.

Being a Lithuanian or just Baltic in general is that odd exception to the post Soviet experience, but there are still many similarities like alcoholism and hatred of Russia

Latin America is with you, brethrens from the east of Europa. We've been fucked, not by the Soviets, but by the Americans.
I hope one day we can all finally gather together in some German town, and rejoice ourselves for had we "won" the game of mid-economy poverty.
