We actually hit traffic and got there in between Mammoth and Pantera’s set. When you walk into the pit take a left or a right to reach the lowest parts of the stage. We were about 3 people back from touching the stage at the time we arrived. Metallica rotates around the stage the entire show. The first 4 songs they were all in our area a majority of the time and then proceeded to move to different sections occasionally swinging by the remainder of the show. Which show you going to? I hope you have an amazing time… because you will!
I won snakepit upgrades to the second night in Dallas. Floor/Snakepit have the best VIEW in the house...but the sound sux compared to other levels...at least in Dallas...was the same in 2017. I wish they would ditch the stadiums, and just do multiple nights in arenas where the sound is better.
Interesting, I find the sound during their stadium tours much better. Maybe not as good this tour but I was in the snake pit in 2017 in Detroit and it was so fucking heavy and loud. Also, Minneapolis in 2016. Crazy sound & energy. Hitting snake pit again for Chicago in August, might try center!
My son and I were in the nosebleeds! Representing 401!
My wife and I were originally section 450 but were lucky enough to win snake pit tickets 🤘

I bought the snakepit tickets to see Metallica for the first time. Any tips to have the best view in the snakepit? Shall I go like hours early?
