I've said it before and I'll say it again: Mya is seriously underrated! amazing singing, fantastic dancing, pretty decent clothes for early 2000s (lord knows that was the worst time in fashion history), and a jerry curl cameo! what more can a music video ask for?

Actually the late 90’s-early 2000’s had great style
The sad part is her albums were doing consistently well also . I believe after the best of me remix , and her and Jay z’s beef she was definitely ousted . No way her career should’ve fell off that hard and abrupt .

she went independent and had legal issues with a record company in 2007, and to avoid a law suit, she just went independent. I wish she could have kept it going. She was supposed to be more successful than what she ended up being, but I guess she didn't play her cards right. She always was underrated, but Take Me There, Case of the Ex, It's All About Me, and My Love is Like Woah will forever be classics, especially to 90s kids!
+Arlene Del Bull This young woman played her cards perfectly. When you are with big labels you don't get much of the money and you have to dance to their tune. Mya has done what she wants to do. By the way she is way better than Beyonce, she just didn't sell her soul. She can say that she did what she wanted to do.

As the choreographer, dancer, and actor ( Jheri curl guy in front of the car). It's funny how people see things and enjoy work you've been a part of.
Working with her and touring with her ( and many artists between 87-2009) was always an experience.
Always love dance.....that industry is a whole other machine though. One has to be very wise and calculative. It's a business. It's definitely not about the talent.

From one dancer/choreographer to another. You did a great job here. I remembered choreographing and dancing to this song when it first came out for a London dance tournament. We killed it and made the audience go wild.
Thanks. Yea, I was already on tour with her as a dancer and assistant choreographer, and doing poppin and lockin on certain bridges of her songs and showing her HOUSE DANCE. She came with this offer to choreograph this song during the tour. I was on tour with her for the first two albums.

Mya is a creative and talented young woman who chose her own path. Making it "big" like Beyonce and Ciara? They are controlled by their contracts and record labels who made their images, Mya did not follow that "cookie-cutter" kind of big. She did play her cards right, and they were "her" cards. The mainstream has you brainwashed if you think that Beyonce and Ciara are "big", its all "smoke & mirrors". Mya went her own way, good bad or indifferent, its her way. I love this young woman and her talent, you will hear more from her.
