Right now I take care of my mom. She's had 2 stokes. My brother called me yesterday to tell me our dad is in the dying stages of Parkinson's. This song's meaning is real to me now.
Hang in there feets. You’re doing something really hard. But you gotta do right. Just make sure you find someone to talk to now and again. Peace.
🙏🏻
@OriginalFeets, I feel your pain. This song hits home for me as well. Hang in there. I know how hard it is- in 9 months time, my elderly next door neighbor was brutally murdered, then my mom died, then my sister died, then my nephew died. All in just 9 months. It’s only with friends and lots of therapy that have gotten me through it. Not trying to overshadow your struggles- not at all. Just showing an example that yes, Everybody Hurts (Sometimes). Sending virtual hugs… (((hugs))).
❤️🙏🙏🙏🌹✌️🎼

I Judy lost my little sister recently to drugs. She was 39 years old. This song makes me bawl every time I hear it. 😢😭
They from Athens, Georgia .
I saw em in 1991, they're LEGENDS.
“Losing My Religion” is another hit by them.
That’s the lead singer that got out of the car 1st.
My all time fav band, Michael Stipe is an amazing artist. They get me on the feels like Pink Floyd ,who is also my ALL time fav.
My god I lost REM❤ amazing band
R.E.M. is an alternative rock band from Athens Georgia. This song is from 1992 but they been around since 1980. This song was from their 9th album "Automatic For The People". R.E.M. has a treasure trove of great music spanning four decades, lots of variety in their sound, lots of greatness to discover!
Michael Stipe
Great reaction man. Love to see younger folks appreciate this. The video compliments the song perfectly and makes it even more impactfule to me, with all the people alone in the cars represesnting everyones private pain and struggles, but at the end they all get out and MOVE FORWARD TOGETHER!
Definitely try " Losing my Religion "
My other REM favourites.
It's the End of the World as We Know It
The One I Love

The old man, Grey hair, that's my sisters father in law. He's in a lot of videos, as strange as that it is. He was a principal for a high school in San Antonio texas.
Great reactions!! This was filmed in San Antonio Tx. I-10 and Woodlawn near downtown. Me and my buddy left work early to watch them make this video. We sat up on the access road with a few drinks chillin. Can’t believe I’m watching this 30 plus years later. Keep them coming. Check out Triumph- “Fight the good Fight”
More R.E.M. “It’s the end of the world as we know it”. “What’s the frequency”
Powerful reaction to a powerful song, young man! Greetings from Belgium. Hold on!
Thanks, Sceez - this is an extremely touching song and the video is awesome! I hope you saw the "lyrics" that were not in the song itself, but the things that people were thinking in the video.. it's quite powerful....
R.E.M. is from Athens, Georgia. They have 15 studio albums, an EP, and many live albums and bootlegs. The lead singer, Michael Stipe, said he wrote this song for teenagers, because their suicide rate is so high. Every time I see a reaction I get tears in my eyes. Yours is the best reaction I've seen. You understood the meaning of the song immediately! I'm happy I came to your channel. ✌️🎶
This song always reminds of Princess Diana. I'll never forget waking up that Sunday morning, seeing on CNN that she had died and this song was playing over fotos of her on tv. One of the moments for my generation, we always remember where we were when heard the sad news.
Very insightful and wise advice!
Tap into Skid Row, " 18 and Life" or " I remember you." Nice reaction.
90s were something else. Lyrics rather rap, rock, metal made you feel
Would have to be one of the most beautifully written and constructed and sung songs of all time! Love it
Priceless song bro.. but u have a heart and care, so it hits home .. REACT to ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT (MR WENDAL / TENNESSEE) 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🔥🔥🔥🫶
❤️❤️❤️ Well said friend, ty for speaking to that someone out there👍
Legendary. Beautiful ❤️
You should said, 'we live in a day and age where mental health is crazy'. Best line ever.
☮️💙💙💙
I highly recommend World leader pretend and Superman by these guys.
RIP tWitch. 😢 It’s devastating that he left this world.
Man, bet it woulda be fun hanging out with you bro.
This song is awesome. How come nobody is willing to talk about suicide. Someone kills themselves every 34 seconds. Sometimes everything sucks, i understand, i tried to commit hara-kiri, i have 89 sutures. I survived my mental crisis, but i was very lucky.
I think he wrote this in response to high teen suicide figures. I am sure it has saved lives
READ ALOT OF COMMENTS. ONE HIT ME WHERE I ENDORED
