The Lime and Byrd scooters are good for the environment but there’s been a crazy shit ton of press about how garbage their companies are. They just drop their scooters into cities without any contracts or rules. People getting hit, and now people are burning and destroying them in retaliation, therefore releasing chemicals from the batteries into the air. When confronted about it, the owner of Byrd was like “well we’d love to work with cities and provide more environmentally friendly solutions…” but they don’t want to wait so they throw their product onto streets with their grubby, capitalist hands without regulation because they don’t give two shits about the safety of the citizens. Maybe Smollop material? How recent can the history be haha. Oh and sweet mustachio Gareth~ 👍
