Biggest one is catch mode is(auto) manual catch mode does not work or i just don't get it. I can style every trick I do and I play on Xbox X series vs my PC.
@@MFNDman I thought the same about manual...but I have been hammering away at it and I'm finally getting the hang of it. It also helps to keep the flip and scoop friction low until you gert a better feel for it. Speed of scoop if HUGE. Managed to pull off some nightmare flips and stuff as well
Try Manual Catch but with No Release in grind settings ;) it’s the easiest Manual Catch setting, you can catch kickflips, shove its, varials, hardflips as soon as you do them. Tre flip, laserflip and such have their catch timing more precise.
I’ve been playing for a couple weeks and I love it. It’s so satisfying when you get a good line down. Working on getting nose and tail slides more accurate. The possibilities with the game are truly endless.

I play on default setting I just use the arms animation experimental . You gotta just feel out the flow and get used to the triggers . The more you play the better it feels and you will be able to flow better 💯

You are good. I couldn't play it. I couldn't even get past the tutorial. The manual thing was just too hard and confusing, I'm used to THPS. As a real skater, I could do the ollie manual ollie easy IRL, so it being so hard in a game was just frustrating to me, so I deleted it after like 10 or 15 minutes :/

this game is nice but lifeless. it would be cool to have NPCs to which you can talk, also girls to flirt with(also a pride club, where queer people waiting for queer people), supermarkets to buy some food for you, because you need to drink&eat to rise your energy level. Also you need to sleep, no sleeping makes the energy max level lower. also police, karens and worried citiziens who try to get your skateboard to break it. So you need to flee from all these people and you can also drink at night in bars cocktails and there should be a forest, where you can collect herbs, mushrooms and fruits, nuts and berries for concumption to rise energy level, thirst and hunger. There should be secret caves and other lost places to discover and skate. Animals would be also nice which you can also use for tricks like long ollies with a eagle which rise you up in the air if you tame it.
Heads up yo anyone who is thinking about playing. This is the most brutal skateboarding game in existence, it will make you clench your bunghole in frustration, but once you finish the tutorial that’s going to seriously test your metal, and you figure out some of the finer mechanics, you’re gonna have a good time.
I have probably more than 500. A lot has been offline since I live in the country with horrible internet. I want multiplayer mode for best trick(real tricks) and best runs. I see a lot of videos that I know I've done better with. Don't have time to edit a game since I play multiple games daily.

Definitely worth the time put in only becomes easier as you get muscle memory. Skater xl is a good game, but imo it is too easy. You can play with the brain shut off. This you gotta out in the work . Way better feeling when you actually somthing

I'm not sure how it will run on ps4 tbh . I do know it's a very good game . It's not meant for everyone. It takes a good few hours for the controls to start feeling even somewhat comfortable. If you stick with it, the game is a masterpiece 💯

Definitely worth the time put in only becomes easier as you get muscle memory. Skater xl is a good game, but imo it is too easy. You can play with the brain shut off. This you gotta out in the work . Way better feeling when you actually somthing

tried to play this game, just missed skate and became bored in minutes, disappointing really.
I respect that 💯. Definitely feels a bit clunky at first. I'm legit, over 700 hours in session, and I still feel myself progressing . That's what I love about it. No other game simulates skating imo. That being said, I am hyoe af for the new skate as well 💯
it seems like they tried too hard to make it look realistic and ruined the gameplay, why does it always look like no matter how perfect you come off a grind or land off anything as if the wheels have breaks that activate? Look fun though but not quite there for me yet
Facts deff not for everyone 💯. They do have setting to play how you like with basically everything. I just play with default advanced settings. Also they are just a small studio. They did very good for what they have imo

Crazy skill WTF 😂. I bought this on console when it launched (don’t own a pc) and hated it and deleted it same day and just picked it back up again last night and finally learning tricks and liking it more now.

Hey this game is on sale on PlayStation right now but it only has 3 stars i really want to get the game but I wanted to know how does the game run on ps4 if anyone knows and should I really care about the stars because it looks fun as hell to me and I miss playing realistic skateboarding games
I'm not sure how it will run on ps4 tbh . I do know it's a very good game . It's not meant for everyone. It takes a good few hours for the controls to start feeling even somewhat comfortable. If you stick with it, the game is a masterpiece 💯
