  • During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association (OOIDA) has continued to fight for the rights of its members and to support them in their business both by providing several services, such as drug and alcohol testing, commercial truck insurance and claims, regulatory compliance, and permits and licensing, and by delivering timely information.
Since FMCSA’s first national emergency declaration order on March 13 and the stay-at-home orders issued by the states, OOIDA has worked diligently to represent small-business truckers through a number of different actions. Those presented in this video are just a few.

Why hasn't OOida done anything about the current abysmal State of Brokers who currently are eating up to 70 Percent of the profits screwing over owner operators?

Because we keep delegating our Duty to other people and expect them to be as vigorous as we would be! No one will clean your damn car as good as you would why expect someone to fight for your rights as well as you could! Here they are running propaganda about a virus that only killed 6,000 healthy people! They are like the NRA they talk a good game and make deals with the enemy! We have so many non Americans in the business and are sending back to their money to their home countries and running down rates. I’m a Latino American and know they work cheap! We need folks who don’t fold! American grit is needed now more then ever! Stop giving these organizations your hard earned money and push back yourself!

You've got to be kidding me that is just stupid to say that it's going to be better to eliminate safety procedures simply because there's an emergency going on
