On the "front locking" tuners, you don't have to physically lock or unlock them, they lock and unlock themselves as you wind and unwind. You can manually do it with a flat head I suppose, but you don't need to.
Thanks for including the actual sale prices (rather than the list prices), here and on the website itself. That kind of thing really matters and I appreciate you making the change ❤️.
was surprised to see made in China at that price point. the kiko cheaper one is as well. haven't seen anyone say anything bad about them either. also strange since its an s series that are all made in Indonesia otherwise
The fireman volume control position is so that he can instantly land on it after a big Pete Townsend strum! Not a joke, I'm almost 100% sure he's said that in the past
I was really close to getting one of the AZS guitars. Love Ibanez, great specs, look and sound amazing. In the end I got the FSR Tele which I am totally happy with, but still I think these are a great package.
Hmm- you guys helped me decide against buying one of these- thanks. I had been lusting after an Iceman for a long time now- but seeing that "horn" sticking up in Pete's chest made me realize, if that were on the bottom, setting it in your lap would mean that big horn is constantly hitting your left leg- looks like it would drive me nuts. I play sitting down 99% of the time, I'm old. LOL- That said, sitting down actually screwed up my back so- standing every once and while is probably a good idea. My spine got bruised from sitting in a hard chair playing for over 8 hrs a day- I'm a little obsessed. It hurts so bad, for so long- took about 2 weeks for it to stop and I couldn't play- no matter how I sat or stood, it hurt. Edit: I have an acoustic that I had to have refretted- but I played it for over 30 years- and it was used when I got it. The person who had it before me played it for between 20-30 years before he tossed it out because the neck let go. My dad repaired it and gave it to me. That means the frets lasted through 50 years of constant playing- almost every day. It may have sat still a handful of days while I did something else but- not often. And my uncle, who owned it before me- played with Marty Robbins so- he played a lot as well. It's an old American made Epiphone, I still have it- but there's no serial number, no model number, no country of origin on it- nothing. Just a stamp on the inside of the back that says "Used Guitar, No Warranty"- apparently some shop stamped it before selling it. My dad says it's an American made model because he looked at the bracing inside and some other stuff and said it was done the way the American made models were done. He was a luthier and has studied that stuff for years- he was probably right. It's just a common dreadnaught, nothing to really distinguish it- so I've never been able to figure out the model. You should hear it with new strings on it- it sounds unreal- one of the best acoustics I've ever played. Extremely mellow but still has some cut to it, and it's really easy to play. When my dad reset the neck, he managed to lower the action considerably. Playing bar chords on it is a dream.
That's not true- I bought a Floyd guitar a few months back and it showed up in desperate need of setup- and I did it with no issues, first try. I've played for a long time but I've never setup any guitar before. All I did was go on RUclips and follow the step-by-step directions Phil McKnight gives- worked perfectly. Then I got tired of the Floyd pretty quickly- wishing now I had of stuck with hardtails- but I locked the Floyd down using 6 pennies and some elec. tape- works great. Now I can tune down or do compound bends without problems. It's not nearly as technical or difficult as ppl make it out to be. Besides- what beginner is buying a 2-thousand-dollar Ibanez w/floating trem? They're on sale now for 1500$- which is still way beyond the beginner price range.
@@stoneysdead689 ya but that's a Floyd rose ... already expected to be floating and set up no other way. Typical ❤️🙌🎸 not everyone could do what you did, as well.
@@oliverboisen7475 it’s not the same really… at least the use of the word tremolo vs vibrato and vice versa has a long-standing explanation for it in the guitar industry going back three quarters of a century; Lee was just getting series and parallel wrong for no reason or explanation whatsoever. Maybe if someone had corrected Leo when he used the other words wrong back in the day things would be different? 😉
Once the guy has Hayes in a headlock, there is no avenue to retreat. The purpose of a headlock is basically the same as chokehold, which as the name implies is meant to cut off the airway of the victim the results is death by suffocation, if the hold isn't broken. Hayes is in clear and present danger and therefore did act in self defense using a response proportional to the danger he was in.
For the seven string bits, why not learn a few easy Nevermore or Korn riffs? They aren't the hardest things to figure out? Just seems like you guys have an aversion.
These kids at this hotel keep trying borrow rubber bands to put around the fire alarm so their drug dealing uncle can use the side door. The discussion to have their mittens preoccupied with those fake capos around lute strings thrills them .
Good to aee Digital John "faffing up and down the neck" in place of Pete to show off the AZ' 😂
Bummed that Chon are no more. Some beautiful sun-drenched jazzy West Coast vibes on their albums.
TEQUILA WENT FLAT YESH
Hail to Digital John! His AZ presentations are tremendous.

I have that Fireman, it is great guitar even it's from China, on this deal it's a steal, go for it people!

John on the Chon Ibanez was great!! Very tempted 😅
Thank God they got John to show what these can really do lol

So glad I stayed until the end for that sick prog lesson! Love you guys.
Morning mates from the U.S.!
Great overall review. Incredible features for the price point lots of variety along with two great reviewers 😊 it's a no brainer.
This seems like a deal people should take advantage of. The Japanese made Ibanez stuff is really nice.
I remember that Paul Gilbert jamming story. I think there's a video somewhere... had a back and forth with Chappers on a recent video about that.
Pete is friggin hilarious...lol
WHOA!! 999 for the Hansel!?
LOVE those basses, too...if they were 5 strings, I'd be VERY tempted!!
That outro jam sounded like addicted to love
I have an AZ24047 (the black 7 string). I can definitely recommend, it’s a great guitar.

So what you're saying is the purple fireman with the big horn also has some decent girth?
Love that easter egg at the end.
I will have to get to the shop
Blues metal... haven't you heard Eric Steckel? Highly recomended. 🤘🏻🎸
What a great start to the weekend! Cheers lads.
I so want that bass 1600b. Beautiful. Hopefully I can save up before the deals off!!

Ya im not surprised that "out of the box" Trem not floating. Beginners would never get in tune otherwise. ❤🎸

Good early morning from the U. S.!
Chonning Tatum comment was golden! 😂😂😂
Hurray, bass deals!
Have you guys reviewed the new Guild Polara?
thanks to Pete I can see the phallic side of Paul Gilbert guitar now ;)))
Just to say, when Lee says “series” he means “parallel” and when he says “parallel” he means “series” 😜 You’re welcome 😉
It's the old Vibrato / tremolo 😅

The fireman really give me a MM st. vincent vibe. It's a 3 minhumbucker in a weird shaped body that's way more ergonomic than it looks.
AZS is so beautiful
I was in the room when Paul Gilbert did that to that kid, it was funny.

Some of the deals are absurd!!!! Like that 7 string AZ is a STEAL!!!! I wish I wasn’t broke 😢
Is the 7th string a spare? Like a spare tire on a car?

Just for the record, guys, nyatoh and nato are not the same thing. They're two different species of wood. 😉
Pete needs to detox. Allergies are a symptom of toxic overload.

Great dudes, but the absolute worst guys to talk chon 🎸 hahaha
"tone swells"
The fireman 'horn' looks like a bellend
That cough is really hanging in there.
Blues metal? You mean AC/DC??

Not quite something for everyone..... "epic deals" all lefties FULL PRICE
Day 243 of wondering when Pete's cough will go.
Not 1 Floyd Rose ? What happened? Ppl dont want real guitars anymore? ;)

I come here to escape Trump and what do I get "China" Trumpism! 😭
So you're trying to say you want to sell sushi at starbucks ?
That top cutaway on the purple guitar is an accident waiting to happen. I can understand why they are reducing it.
Paul Gilbert has toured with it since early 2000s. Only a stupid individual will have an accident with it.
Made in China
The 7 string AZs are Japanese.
4:47 💀😂
Oh look, unsold shite they couldn’t previously sell
