I think 250 horsepower and one single propeller is quite low for this hull weighing under 4 tons. I used the same one, only with two SUZUKI DF250 outboard motors of 500 horsepower in total. Cruising speed was 50 km/h with 11 people on board, the maximum speed was under 80 km/h. Fuel consumption was about 35 liters per hour per engine. Now I have a YAMAHA PC-27 Gen.2 with two SX370KS diesels. Its have more fuel economy - nearly 40 liters\hour in two engines total, and have 50 km\h cruising speed Greetings from Vladivostok and thank you for the wonderful boats made in Japan.
