I'm gonna try to add some pump spells to the deck to try to sneak in some extra damage after Obeka isn't blocked for more upkeeps. Court of Ire and a couple pump spells translates to a win just through damage from the upkeeps alone. Alternatively Court of Cunning wins through mill. Hatred is also something you can run if you can stomach paying $30 for it.

Yeah! That's part of the reason I love Tavern Brawler so much in this deck, it's perfect!

It's funny that you have the Ninth Doctor in this build. I just built a Ninth Doctor/Clara Oswald upkeep deck. Heavily contemplating splashing 9 into the main deck and replacing it with Obeka as commander.

Very nice! I have ordered a bunch of cards to build Obeka. One to consider is Auton Soldier from the doctor who precons. Basically a spark double with myriad! 5 Obekas? Don’t mind if I do…

I had made a decklist for obeka prior to seeing this video and there are definitely a few cards that would be worth putting in like bonehoard dracosaur and all 6 of the courts, eternal dominion and undying flames are also really funny cards because of he epic mechanic

I think Court of Embreth would go nuts in this deck. Play it before combat, get the Monarch, swing with Obeka, get at least 2 3/1 knight tokens, and deal at least 5 damage to each opponent. The value just goes up from there.

Yeah, all of the courts are really good! I just was concerned about not being able to keep the monarchy

Go big or go home! Plus, if you combine this with Desent into Avernus like you mentioned in the deck tech, you may not have to worry about that for long
