It is a good effect but maybe for some specific decks. Its a Treefolk so its a good addition to that tribe but 7 mana its a lot. Maybe in a power matters deck could be a good include.

I did a similar Snail inspired deck with Susan Foreman and The Twelfth Doctor, leaning fully into the Temur Cascade hilarity. Some fantastic ideas I'll try to sneak in if I can from this video, Herald of Ilharg, and Gwenna especially got me interested 👀👀

My meme cascade commander deck commander: imoti celebrant of bounty Extra turns for more triggers plus being able to get ahead if behind or digging further if ahead. Card draw lots of it with cards like opt, learn from the past elixir of immortality I'm never decking out, big cmc spells with delve exiling unnecessary cards for more value, cascade creatures for funny value, one discard outlet to put cards i dont want into graveyard or reshuffle untap effects, two tutors and lastly evoke creatures. Then we add a jace "I win if I draw out" along with atherflux as well as weather the storm, mana reflection, imoniscience, zendikar resurgent, and three ways of copying imoti herself and two protection spells. I give you the most broken and most hated deck in mtg😂

I love Ria Ivor so much! She can get out of control EXTREMELY quickly if opponents aren't paying attention. I'm on a budget - so what I did was fill up my Ria deck with a ton of removal (both single and multi-target) since I don't have many ways to give anything evasion. Hold onto your instant removals to kill whatever's blocking your creature that has Ria's ability targeting them. I've otherwise relied on good old fashioned flying - things like Flensing Raptor, Swooping Lookout, Basilica Shepherd and the like. BRING FORTH THE MITES!

This is going to be a staple in Graaz Unstoppable Juggernaut, immediately start at 5 and monstrous into 10 even if it can't be a blocker

How does Gitrog work with this? You can play 2 lands per turn but you have to sac a land to it unless you sac Gritrog which could negate the positive if you sac a land to Baba too. Or does sacrificing a land to Baba count toward "unless you sac a land" keeping Gitrog on the battlefield?

This set has some of the nastiest cards ever, too much power in a card.

The mice white and red mice from bloomburrow may work well as when theyre targeted by your abilities that ability gets copied making that ability copy X4 with Ertha Jo.

Could had been worded better, the first phrase fells like it contradicts the 3rd sentence. If I understood it, you first cast Funeral Room, then on the field you can cast Awakening Hall.

8 mana its very high mana to this effect but could be good in right deck. Also the activation could be an ability so cant be countered easily.

I still think will be nice in my Wilhelt zombie deck.

Welp, one more card for the PhyrSlivDrazi Abomination deck that someone is bound to build sooner or later.

For commander: Ran Nekusar for years. In many diff ways aswell as the full-on infect hyper wheel comp. All of which were lackluster in either game-play fun or just powerlevel. The fact is that looping wheels takes settups and people see it comming from miles away. They wont let you. Also 5 mana is too much for an underworld dreams with a howlingmine on a stick. I also played lots against other Nekusars. The hype is always let down. One of the most overrated generals in commander. I tend to keep around and tweak decks for long times and i disbanded it. It was no more fun and niether thought the opponents.

I’ve found it fine for experimenting or to protect expensive cards. My experience though it’s guys who want to stomp out casual games or feel they NEED the most powerful decks or they can’t have fun. My personal ideology is that it’s a collectible card game and that’s part of the fun- I’ll play with what I have pulled or the singles I get. I’ve got friends who do proxy but for the protection of their cards more so

I think in my version I'm gonna get rid of most 10+ bucks cards excluding Mommy (and Mondrak probably), and add some protection so that the saga can keep doing the good work while I'm probably the archenemy. 😅

I was actually looking for a battle commander and I think i'm going to pair him with Romana so that i can do a battle + burn deck. Attack 1 battle to death on my turn and then bolt other ones on my ops turn. Then copy the good demonstrated creature tokens with Romana

I have a very similar Norin deck. Mine also has Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might and Gimli of the Glittering Caves. So vile lol

The alternate art for this card is great.

Adric has enough of an ability to be a commander by himself in my opinion. The amazing thing about his effect is, it can target any permanent type... from fetch lands all the way to enchantments. With a Freed from the Real on him & a Training Grounds, He becomes U, T: Copy any activated or triggered ability and with the aura, you can untap him for U. I'm thinking about him with Enchantments. Stuff like Ominous Seas, you could make a bunch of 8/8 creatures. Correct me if I am wrong, but if you play a Enchantment - Aura that gains control of a creature when it etbs, Adric can copy the Etb and steal a totally different creature.

Also hates on flicker decks

Question on Obsidian Fireheart, I’m not sure Ghyrson would trigger his 2 damage on this because the 1 damage isn’t coming from a source that you control. Please correct me if I’m wrong 👍

I actually use LJF in Arena in Brawl using a Grixis set up under Marchesa. This deck pops off in numerous ways.

I would like to suggest Sword of selves as a card to use. The myriad will create two copies of the commander which will trigger the ETB for more meteorites. Don't mater that you need to sac them its all for the meteorites.

I need some help, if I have Maelstrom Wanderer in hand and I cheat it into play with something like Incandescent Soulstoke do that trigger cascade?

If i have ulalek and echoes of eternity on the battlefield, then cast ulamog the ceaseless hunger (with rings of brighthearth and basalt monolith on the battlefield for infinite mana) how many copies of ulamog the ceaseless hunger and how many cast triggers from ulamog will i get?

Does it mean you discard the highest manna value in your hand period?

Last thing I need to do is build another deck but The Meep needs to be made.

Very good video! I will definitely take some cues from this list for my LJF deck. I have currently a nasty win con for myself in the deck, which is dependent upon a couple of things: LJF + Rakish Crew / Bastion of Rememberance / Zulaport Cutthroat in game and smashing in with Insurrection and any boardwipe. If the opponents are running many token creatures, this will be devastating since I control all creatures, and with LJF in play they are all outlaws. If both sorceries resolves, I think some opponents would lose, and the ones that are left will be in an interesting position. When the attack is done, the wipe results in a loss of creatures that could give me a life gain equal to the amount of creatures in play (times up to three) and deal that much damage to each opponent. For this to resolve I would hope there is one counterspell in my "exile hand" from LJF. Otherwise I am running Staff of Eden, Vault's Key as well, so maybe I can draw a huge hand as well. I am also running Possibility Storm, which would be great if I can reduce the avg mana cost of creatures. This does not affect the cards exiled from LJF or Prosper (which I am also running). This is just to give myself an easy out if I have a mana surge problem on my draws and my opponents have scary hands. I also have Graywater's Fixer in case I have many low value outlaws in the graveyard in the late game and Bastion of Rememberance and/or Rakish Crew is in play. Thus I can encore all outlaws for their mana cost and sacrifice the tokens at the end of the turn. I hope I get to do this with Nizumi Link Breaker, Tinybones, the Pickpocket, Deadeye Tracker, Magda the Hoardmaster, Greedy Freebooter, Vial Smasher Gleeful Grenadier and of course Zulaport Cutthroat would be awesome here. This could also be a win con. Furthermore I have a card that is very interesting if you are running a crime scheme like in this video. Its an often overlooked card, due to it being very weak, and frankly not that interesting unless you get triggers on it: Tooth Collector. This card may commit one crime automatically on every players turn, leading to very rapid increase in crime effects. It seems to be absolutely made for this meme deck :)
