Another great game system that is fun to see reviews and playthroughs for is called
D100 Dungeon.
That has been recommended to me a few times by now. I really need to make time to take a look at it.
DCC has gotten me reading a lot more Appendix N stories. As a result, I'm looking forward to picking up this boxed set and really excited for the Dying Earth one.
Looks good haven't seen this before
It's actually made me kind of curious about their other boxed sets, since they've done a few based on classic fiction now.
@@rpgcrawler very nice wear do you find those if I can ask
It looks like only empire of the east is listed (Fred Saberhagen), Not a boxed set, but a setting book in a similar vein. I believe they kickstarted dying earth (Jack Vance), it's just not out quite yet. I thought there was a third one too, I'll have to take a look.

@@rpgcrawler Thanks man
@@rpgcrawler Love the Dungeon Crawl Classic book
Great review. Thanks!
Thanks for checking it out!
I'm actually sketching out a DCC campaign that will incorporate this, The Empire of the East, the Purple Planet, The Dying Earth, & Blackmoor into it in order to get some use out of all these cool DCC products. They definitely do a good job with both their original settings and the IPs they've picked up. Sure wish they had Conan rather than Modiphius.
Sounds awesome. I wish they had Conan as well. Granted, I didn't actually have an issue with how Modiphius did Conan (Except I'm not too fond of their in house 2d20 system), but I think that Goodman Games could've done so much with it with the DCC RPG system.
Coming back to this video, after reading a lot more of the stories, I now have to get this. It's up next for me. I really feel that Goodman Games really treats their source material with a lot of love. Both this and the upcoming Dying Earth boxed set are much more exciting to me now, since reading the stories.
Both series are definitely some of the classics of the genre. You can really see where some elements originated from.
Interesting review! Would you say this is better than the D and D Lankhmar stuff??
Having both this and the 2e era boxed set, I would have to say yes, although only if you're already familiar with/using the DCC RPG system. I think it is better in terms of lore and layout, but I believe to this day there's slightly more people familiar with the rules from 2nd edition era D&D than DCC RPG. Of course, using both as resources is entirely an option.
the books are great quality ,ok, maps, gazzets fun ,judge screen works
