Can we just talk about this whole community of girls in the comment section just answering everyone's questions and helping everyone out and being super supportive of each other. It makes me so happy to see this! 😊
Me too! people kept bugging me on about tampons back in high school, I didn't know what they were so I looked it up and weylie's video was the result xD
+Kimberly Enriquez girl we all have preferences when it comes to personal hygiene, pads aren't gross, tampons aren't gross, they're supplies we need to not let blood seep through our clothes. Now that's gross.
I hate when people say that you shouldn't wear pads! Tampons are disgusting I hate them I feel like they aren't meant to be there, I can't get them in right and I find it traumatising to practise and they are unhygienic cause your body can't clean it's self properly

I hate tampons, too hahaha. It feel like, I would have something in my. It's not cool.
+Bethany Mortley honestly i hate both pads and tampons. tampons hurt for some reason, pads stink. Both have to be changed often and are expensive. Menstral cups saved me. somehow they're more comfortable than tampons, no smell, and I change only about twice a day
I prefer tampons because there is less chance if a leakage. pads I find it like I'm wearing a diaper and I used the ones with wing and it still felt like it was crawling up my buttcrack XD
No hate but it just annoyed me when you said pads are disgusting. We all get our periods, and we all need to support each other- every person should use whatever works best for them. Pads are not gross, tampons are not gross. It is just something that helps us not get blood on our clothes. And we shouldn't make someone feel that they are "disgusting" because they like using pads and not tampons.
+Koko Kouture you should use a liner when you first start using it and it doesn't hurt if you're a virgin it's more like pressure when inserting it. Once it's in correctly it doesn't hurt at all though
I only started using tampons after I graduated high school and I wish I had started earlier. Pads are a pain in the ass. They irritated my skin. All brands did, not just a specific one. Tampons are a game changer. I feel way more comfortable. And the sneezing or laughing thing? It doesn't happen anymore. So glad!
Periods suck. Pads are the worst. Tampons are the worst. Cramps. Are. The. Worst. But then again, it's kind of totally worth it. Eventually, I get to create an actual human baby, thanks to periods. That's really cool. And if I think about it for too long, I start to feel really bad because my uterus worked so hard to create a nice place for my baby to stay, but then I didn't get impregnated and so my uterus had to tear itself down. But it's okay, uterus, just wait a few years. You'll get your chance. Love, Daphne That was weird. I… that was weird. I don't know…bye heh
I have used pads since I started my periods. It's been a long process, but for the most part, I almost never have leakage, but every time I wear a tampon, I experience discomfort, leakage, and even worse cramps! Luckily, I am intelligent enough to know that I don't have to listen to someone telling me I "need to transition to the tampon life" if it makes me uncomfortable. But what about impressionable girls just starting out their periods who are already insecure and too afraid to ask about periods? You should be giving them advice on all of their options, not just your preferences!
I'm sure she means that in her opinion she perfects tampons and encourages us to use it since it works best for her. She's not making u switch it's just a suggestion.
I prefer pads 1) i HATE sticking things "up there" 2) im terrified of toxic shock 3) i feel its gross to have a bloody piece of cotton inside of you My opinions tho :/
I was 11 when this shit started... Oh and i started my period again today and i have never ever ever EVER felt so sick, and my boyfriend never experienced me on my period and he's comming back from his holliday soon.... I feel bad for him it's just gonna be me sleeping and crying like i'm being murdered😹
I'm 8 months pregnant right now, due in just a few weeks. Can I just say I am SO NOT EXCITED to have my period back! hahaha pregnancy has its ups & downs, but not having your period for 9 months is absolute heaven!!! lol thanks for the tips, very very helpful!
Simone Fuller yeah I got mine last week and I was at school since I got it at 9 almost ten they had no pads and I had to go to the nurse no one looks at my the same
I got mine when I was 11 too (I’m 12 now) trust me it doesn’t get better you get cramps and stuff but I like heating pads and peppermint rubs it helps a lot!, hope you are doing ok, ps wear pads for the first few years we’re still a bit young to wear tampons. Oh and dark chocolate is great while on your period. Have a great day!
Literally had my period today in school, had ONE pad then had to do PE in a lot of pain when I get changed to go home, i get into the bathroom stall and sneeze. NIAGRA FALLS. Had no more pads or tampons had to use loads of toilet paper. Come home, low and behold no fucking pads or tampons. Check Moms room, no tampons are there
+Kelly Moy to young? I got my period when I was 11, and my birthday was a few days ago. and I've been using tampons sense I was 11, your never " to young " to wear tampons. it's there for a reason.
Ohhh girl! You have not tried always infinity!!! These things are REVOLUTIONARY!!!! No leak, absorbency is INSANE!!! Let's say you don't feel like using tampons (bc tbh sometimes you're not feelin it) but you're period is super heavy? Always infinity! There is radiant or over night. I have had one for like 4 hours and no wetness or leakage. After using this I don't feel the need to use tampons as often anymore 💕☺️
Yes Always Infinity!! So much more comfortable than the old type and they are so amazing 😇 I don't even use any other kind because the other ones are scratchy and uncomfortable 😢
+cheza w yass!!!! Like I don't have to worry having anymore stains on cloths or my panties. Sorry U by Kotex, but always infinity have been saving my undies 😂😂😂
+Ella Young u won't exactly no some people get it really soon at the age at 11 or 13 ir something if not then somtimes 16 or older all depends on ur body everyone's body is different
Hi Weylie! Just want to say thank you so much for what you have been doing (vlogging and encouraging sisters around the world) I am currently going through a tough phase of my life (quarter life crisis I guess) , do not know where to go to and what is the next thing to do with my life. Have got interest and passion in certain things but do not have the courage to do it. But watching your video regularly gives me alot of comfort! Thank God for your life (and also Wah's) Love you sis! :)
seriously don't be! I was like that for a while and you just gotta keep trying and keep watching videos. learn about your body to help where to put in it.
Ga8rielle True... but your period is only 2-4 tablespoons of blood. If your wearing a pad all day than that means your going to loose more of the blood and the length of your period will be shorter. For a tampon if you change it out but arent giving some of that blood a chance to escape (which sounds disgusting but its true:) then your period will last a little bit longer..
Kristin Savannah Im soooo sorry if i sound reallyyyyy ignorant because I was just saying the things I know and my opinion... How does that make it okay for you to say I sound ignorant
Omg omg omg my teAcher she's my advisory teacher she told me she knew a youtuber because u guys went to school together her name is Mary McKenna and she gave me your RUclips channel I just want to know if she's lying to me or not lol please reply if u do know her 💕
+ilikeweylie lol i love how people always reunite though youtube and also i love your videos who knows maybe in a few days i will be part of the ilikeweylie fam
I'm a menstrual cup user. Mostly because I don't wanna pay for pads monthly (yea, I was a pad girl once upon a time lol). And I agree with the wipes. it does nothing but increases the odour in my opinion.
How do you pick the right cup? I really want to get one since it seems a lot easier to use. I'm not really scared of using it but I am scared of getting the wrong type and hating it and wasting money on something I could have potentially liked and used for a long while if I bought the right one
well you don't lol. the cups do the same thing. what you have to consider is the capacity, firmness and shape I would say. if you have a super heavy flow, 30-35ml will be on the large side. if you have strong pelvic muscles, a very firm rim is important. I say shape. That includes your cervix, if it's low you want a shallow cup. the width of the rim could impact comfort. So those are the things you would look out for. you can get one cup. you will find out what you prefer in a cup and take that into consideration when purchasing a second cup (it's handy to have two, but you can live with just one cup)
+melaiva bridgeman look up precious stars pads! She has videos on all different cups and how to pick the right one!!! I've been using a cup for a year now and honestly it's the best choice I ever made! I never have to worry about that awkward moment at the shop buying pads or tampons or asking a parent to get you some more! I have a meluna as its a relatively cheap option (about £12 in the uk) and they come in all different sizes, hardness' and colours! I also recommend lube.. Watch precious stars pads she has lots of info!
Lucie yeah, I did. but her cervix is low and petite and she gets sizes best for her. So I can't really relate to how the cup works for her. I've been using a cup for over a year now. I haven't made a second purchase but I'll keep lookin` around
Personally, I have such short periods (usually 3 days but it can totally be 2 or 1 and 4 once in a while but not longer) that pads are just perfect. Tampons ? no... I don't know if I'm scared or grossed out but I just can't try them. Why are people disgusted by pads ?? *What do you guys think* about cups ?I've thought about it but is it reaallly necessary for only a couple days ? Also no to the tampons cuz i'm one of those girls who get freaking diarrhea EVERY TIME so um blood + poop ? uh nope.
+Jenn Cole I used to be too scared to try them but once I tried a tampon I have NEVER looked back. you don't have to worry about anything and disposing is so much better. Once you move onto tampons, thats when you will understand why people think pads are disgusting
emily bieber Oh i see haha thank you ! For now i'll just stick to pads (no pun intended) ut if i NEED towear tampons, like a day at the beach or whatever then good to know :)
I like the ones that are "360" or like the flower shape because I feel like it gets all of the angles. Some are square or rectangle shaped when they expand and I feel like leakage can pass by with those ones. I would also recommend plastic applicators and not the cardboard ones
+Stephanie Brito +Stephanie Brito it'll say on the box plastic or cardboard and you can see it in the picture. My favourite brand is tampax radiant because they don't leak on me but the ubykotex ones are the most comfortable imo (NOT the click ones)
Natalia Crittenton i'm 15 and i don't use them either. it's fine if you don't. pads are better in my opinion because sometimes you don't bleed as much on some days as you usually might and if you have a tampon in then it wouldn't be filled with blood and nobody wants to take out a dry tampon. pads are just better in my opinion
Tineka Crittenton duh girl.Who wouldnt that thing is going all the way in your vagina. If you are a beginner start wearing pads, now when your like sixteen thats a good age to start. At 11 that is gonna pain, because that thing is not loose enough for tampons.Take my advice
I’m also 11 years old and use tampons my favorite are Playtex Sport tampons the first time that you use a tampon it feels a little weird but you get use to it eventually there’s no reason to be afraid tampons are life changing!!
I'm so glad someone is pro tampons! I've never used pads, (well, meh, once but it wasn't for more than a little bit because it was awful) and sometimes I forget I'm on my period because my tampon just doesn't even feel like it's there. I have done some research on TSS and girls are WAYYYYYY to paranoid now days. Back when it first struck people who made tampons and marketed them worked hard to reengineer them so there was less of a chance of you getting TSS. Plus girls now days don't wear tampons long enough to get TSS. I know girls who change them at 4 hours. No, don't do that! that's just ridiculous and a waste of tampons. (Unless it's needed due to flow.) did you know that the first cases of TSS were because girls thought they could leave tampons in for too long? And by that, I mean girls left them in all day. Like 12 hours or more! One girl left a super one in for 2 days! So Even if you leave it in for 9 hours. It's almost impossible for you to get TSS (although it's healthy to change it at 8, it won't kill you or make you sick if you are sleeping, or in a long car ride, we all get stuck in those situations and it's ok, you are safe) I use tampons when I sleep. And girls think I'm crazy, Because of TSS. But when you are sitting horizontally (like when you are sleeping) Things don't really flow much. Blood and stuff can't get through the cirvix due to no gravity pulling that way. and there for cannot enter the Vaginal area to be soaked up in a tampon. As long as you go to the bathroom when you wake up. You will be fine. Don't be paranoid and be stuck with pads. And don't waste tampons because you are scared! I hope this was a bit educational and helped some girls not be scared :)
A. DON'T use tampons for that long, its actually dangerous B. DEFINITELY don't use them when you sleep, I've seen cases of TSS happen that way C. PLEASE don't use the tampons with the plastic around them, that plastic is the number one type of plastic found in the ocean D. Try using a menstrual cup! You still get a bit of a TSS risk, but its smaller and cups are WAY better for the environment
use a menstrual cup!! NO MORE SMELL!!! lmao. seriously menstrual cups feel so much more clean and i constantly forget i'm on my period since i've started using a cup. even tampons suck compared to cups. i hate how it felt taking tampons out *shudders* and now i'm not contributing so much goddamn waste.
VioletIceFire not really. taking out tampons, especially on light days feels horrible since it dries out the vagina lmao. and on heavy days it's gross because it's all slimy. and i duno, even though you don't really "feel" the tampon when its inserted, there's always this like understanding in my mind that it's THERE. It made my vagina really uncomfortable?? Like i don't even know how to explain it, but there ya go. i really think it has to do with the fact that tampons are highly absorbent, and that they were sucking the fluids out of my vagina and making it hurt. with the cup, it really feels like i'm not on period at all. And I leaked a lot on tampons too. a lot of girls claim that it helped them with cramps and/or even made their flow lighter, although i don't know how that'd work tbh. but that's what some girls claim anyway.
+star neko I got into it after someone I follow and respect on tumblr wrote about them. jen of frmheadtotoe made a video about them, too if you're interested. imo the only con about using a cup is that it has a high learning curve. tampons can be difficult getting them in for the first few times, but once you get it, you get it. the cup might take a couple of cycles to get right. it was really difficult inserting the cup for me the very first time. but other than that... there's honestly no downside. it doesn't smell, it's way more sanitary, i don't waste money on expensive period products, you can keep them in way longer than pads and tampons (so you CAN USE IT WHILE SLEEPING PRAISE THE LORD), less general waste on the earth, etc. i think the companies that make the cups try to also make money by pushing cup "ph balancing" cleaning products, but imo you don't need them. i just wash them with gentle cleanser (i use cetaphil, which i already use because i have eczema) and water and sanitize my cup in boiling water between cycles. they can get stained after repeated use, so i leave them in hydrogen peroxide/water solution and they look brand new. but the stains aren't even indication of anything actually unhygienic, anyway. anyway good luck if you decide to try them, i HIGHLY recommend them!
alot of youtubers say to never use a tampon but i love them, thank you for teaching me how to use one 5 years ago! that tampon video helped me so much and thats how i discovered you. thank you ily
Tampons are fine for me but it still leaks a bit so I have to wear a pad with it just to feel safe lol. anyone else have this problem? How do I deal with it?
You could wear a panty liner instead of a pad when you're wearing a tampon. Panty liners are smaller and less bulky but they still collect the excess blood.
I swear I'll be the happiest mofo on the planet if my period comes right now cause I really don't want any surprises when I go on vacation next week, where I will be spending alot of time in water.Ugh,this makes me so nervous.:(
I started using tampons yesterday it was amazing I got it in perfectly the only thing that heart is taking it out and I'm only on my second period I'm 12 by the way if you want to use tampons use tampax pearl lite
Change tampons and pads often! If you get stains on your panties, soak it in cold water ASAP. When i was in middle school I would wear like a flannel around my waist in fear of leaking cute but also protective lmfao. But honestly you just learn from years and YEARS of experience girlfriend you got this.
My period started today. I was so confused but it was funny because I kept thinking it was a dream. Right now I'm 12 years old. I didn't expect it to come now. I guess I'm like all of you powerful women now. :D
+mxvp don’t get confused. No plants are growing in the toilet tank lol growing up in a country where almost all the private/public washroom utilized with a hose and sprayer hooked to the wall next to toilet!! i know its weird but here in canada i have to use watter can to do the job . i just fill it with warm water and rinse myself afterwards .. another TMI is that some ppol who suffer from constipation using warm water before and after make pooping easier
Things not to do on your period: • Do NOT! Eat chocolate, it makes it so much worse, but that's only me (Kit Kats helped me :,) ) • Do not stop wearing your pad if you have a bit of blood left, keep wearing whatever you're wearing because you might bleed really bad • Try not to sneeze too too much, it's like a levee broke during a hurricane and all the water is spilling out. • Do not tell your friends, especially not boys they'll only laugh at you. • Don't take more than 3 pills a day for your cramps, you'll overdose. Things TO DO on your period! • Tell an adult that you trust, tell them when it's ending and when it started. • Tell an adult the color of your blood, it might tell them something about you, health wise. • Bananas! Eat them! They relieve so much pain • Warm sock with rice in it, warm water bottle, or a heat pad. They help with cramps • You're at school and have no more pads! What do you do? Grab all that cheap toilet paper and make it into a pad as quick as possible. • Please, PLEASE tell your teacher if you started at school, they'll have pads or tampons somewhere. These are things that might help, I did not include yoga because I understand most of us girls do not want to move because we are already in so much pain. I hope this helped, if you have any questions feel free to ask and I should respond within 24 hours. Thank you for your time.
I've switched to a reusable menstrual cup and reusable cloth pads for my period. Cloth isn't for everyone, but my cramps are lessened and period has shortened because of it. I've found since switching I don't smell bad like I did when I used regular tampons or disposable pads. Pads used to give me rashes and micro cuts... no one wants cuts on their vagina while they're already in pain!! Not for everyone, but my period is much more manageable now.
Ugh periods sucks. I always got back stabbing back cramps before my period even started. Then later stomach cramps came. Anything I ate made me nauseous. Then, I started getting them at the same time. I couldn't sleep comfortably because my back was in pain. I hated to go to school and sit all day long because it would cause my cramps to worsen. And I just hated having to go to the bathroom and deal with my period. And the girls always took forever to finish. Periods. They're a gift from the devil himself.
Don't worry about it!!! My sister has missed hers four cycles in a row, and when she went to the doctor they said that its normal! She's a virgin, so there was no fear of pregnancy anyway, by the way. She told me that the doctor just said that you might be lucky and you just won't get it all the time! If you're still worried nought, definitely check with the doctor or your gyno ☺️
Of course that's okay, I didn't get cramps until I'd had my period for about a year so if you haven't had it for a year yet cherish it hahah it gets worse as you get older but if you have had it for over a year you may just been one of the few lucky people who don't get cramps
I tried putting in a tampon 5 times now and it hurts soooo badly to push it in and I have to figure out how to because I play sports and its soooo uncomfortable to play in a pad. 😩 why can't I just get it in there😂😂😩😩
Shaytards fan It might take a little while to get used to it but I watched a lot of videos on how to put a tampon in before I started so when I got my period I was ready to use the tampons and I knew what I was doing
Omg not to be rude but I seriously did not know who you were until you popped up your old "how to put on a tampon" video! That was when it hit me like a brick and realised that I watched you when I was like 12 or around that age 😂 I cannot believe how different you look and how you're still continuing your videos :D
oh my gosh i thought i was the only one that had to costantly poop during my period!! Its mostly the first and second day since i get horrible horrible cramps and bloating but i hate pooping when im on my period. It just gross, blood everywhere 😫
+Dana Obbey I know right! Everyone always thinks i'm weird for liking pads better because there "gross". TBH Pads are so much back. And it makes your period last shorter. That's what I heard anyways.
Just a few tips to add to the ones you have said! feminine wash is amazing! people get irritated from it if you put it directly on your vagina. most washes say to only apply it to the surrounding area's like right above your vagina and your inner thighs. also if you hate pads and are afraid of tampons LOOK INTO A MENSTRUAL CUP! i was a late bloomer i started my period at 14 and i'm 24 now. it took me until i was 17 to switch to tampons and i hated them, but i hated pads more! if i left tampons in for more than 3-4 hours the string really irritated the outside of my vagina.so earlier this year i bought the diva cup and it's a life changer. if you want to look into it there's a youtuber bryony from called precious stars pads and she has a ton of videos on a bunch of different cups! the only reason why you should smell on your period is when your vagina is irritated or the blood gets exposed to air and with a cup there's nearly NO smell. it's incredible. plus there's no risk of TSS when using a cup and you can leave it in for 12 + hours and there's no bacteria or worry about going to the bathroom with your tampon in because a menstrual cup is fully inside of your body so you can use the bathroom all day without touching it.
Some people can't use tampons because of TSS. Short for toxic shock system. Some people may be scared. When i first tried a tampon, I could not breathe. I stood up and felt really dizzy. Not trying to scare some of you but dont try it if you are scared.
+Ica688 The medicines actually created for women on their period all have caffeine in them, so if you have a sensitivity like I do you have to be extra careful with taking them- if you can take them at all! Ibuprofen is my life saver!
I use tampons when I’m out I don’t feel comfortable with pads out in public I think it’s very. Uncomfortable but tampons are not safe so try to be care ful with those
You can still use the mini ones. I love the smallest size, since i hardly ever get periods anymore (because of my birth control pills), and when i do the flow is so little
Yeah, smaller kind would work... I don't know much about buying tampons XD ***** I've only heard a little bit about menstrual cups, do they really work well? I don't think I've ever seen them in stores either but maybe that's just because I'm not really looking for them.
I'm a transguy(meaning my sex is female but my gender is male). Anyways, I get my period and I tried to start using tampons but I can't seem to put it in deep enough so it hurts. So I stick to pads.
Make sure that it's not at the very beginning at the cycle either! This might sound gross, but if you don't have enough blood coming out and you're trying to insert a tampon in there, it's not gonna work out. It's supposed to slide in easily, if it's very uncomfortable, use it mid cycle.
+Max S. you can also try moving the applicator around at different angles. for me , i have to angle mine to the left or the right otherwise it'll stick out a tad and i can feel the tampon (which is really uncomfortable). and you are NOT supposed to feel anything in there if it's been correctly inserted. try the kotexU click tampons. they're my favorite.
Oh man, when I'm on my period I am in the worst of pain in my whole entire life. There would be times I would be lying down, clutching to my stomach and just cry. It usually happens around the first few days. It's just so bad. I dunno if anyone here ever experience period pains, I thought I will die. It's the end of me. x_x But I would hope if Weylie would answer this and it's nice to hear advice from someone else before I'll ask my mom who is a nurse for the final verdict, so.. I have an irregular period and also whenever I have my period, it is not a heavy flow either and I am thinking of getting the diva cup, should I invest money in getting one anyway even though my period is irregular and rather light? I much prefer a pad because of that and I don't use a tampon unless I have nothing else with me or its some kind of emergency. I would love to invest myself for a diva cup, but I am just not sure about it because of my situation.
I used to get the worst pain ever when I'd get my period, just like you around the first few days and I'd get migraines and be really sick and I couldn't go to school and stuff but I started taking birth control and it went away. I still get like minor cramps but nothing like what it used to be.
I'm not sure if you should get a diva cup because they can be quite firm and make your cramps worse, I would look into getting a softer cup like a si bell or a cuplee cup! Menstrual cups make your period so much easier though, definitely try them :)
+Victoria Hong God.. I am the same way! It sucks... First of all, I have a *VERY* irregular period.. But the first few years it's very normal (according to my doctor) and I know that my mom also has a very irregular period, so I believe it's genetic for me. Trust me, you aren't alone girly!! -Lex
best way to deal with periods is to remove your uterus.
This helped so much!!1!1! 😂👌
I've actually been planning on doing that 😂 plus you can't get pregnat
Yaassss
Omg so true, but then you have to adopt
ShatteredCrowns 😂😂😂
am I the only one who hates opening up a pad when other girls are in the bathroom because they are SO LOUD!?.
Genesis Rashid Ik
Genesis Rashid Just flush the toilet and you're good to go girl!
I usually take the wrappers off but leave the seal for the sticky part on and that way there is no noise when I need to use them
hahaha that was me yesterday. I opened one and I heard girls laughing. oh well its life
Genesis R. OMG I have to rip it one bit at a time and there still so loud
Does anyone else sit and binge watch period videos when your in your period and sit with loads of food and a fluffy blanket ???

I'm so sorry
Welcome to the club!
Deepest Sympathies...
sorry

The app Clue works for tracking periods. The app has pretty much everything, I know sometimes it isn't accurate but it helps to keep track. 😊
+Alondra Hernandez I use Clue too and it's super helpful!!
I heard it's great but my phone says I have to much space...and I only have two apps😔 😠🙅 dumb phone
clue is my life saver!
Thanks so much for sharing! I've been using the Monthly Cycle app but it goes all commercial so I'll definitely try out this app
P tracker is good too
I thought I was the only one who get cramps before my period comes I'm so happy I'm not the only one
I hate pads cause you're literally sitting in a pile of smelly blood
+Alexis Ali I hate tampons because it's I'm scared it's just going to fall out or seep through the whole thing 😂
Who hates their period besides me?!

+Supernatural Breyer Who? it means no baby 😂
+ItsKaylaElizabeth Right😂😂
My first period was when I was 13 on April fools day 0-0
WTF I started mine this week I'm 10 ?!
Mine started yestarday
lol
OMG MY FIRST PERIOD EVER WAS WHEN I WAS 13 ON NEW YEAR'S!
Mine started yesterday
No hate but it just annoyed me when you said pads are disgusting.
We all get our periods, and we all need to support each other- every person should use whatever works best for them.
Pads are not gross, tampons are not gross. It is just something that helps us not get blood on our clothes.
And we shouldn't make someone feel that they are "disgusting" because they like using pads and not tampons.
mt I agree completly
mt Okay yea, I got where u be coming from
Pads make me feel so gross but tampons seem so weird ~~ Periods are just ehh
ikr😖😥😭
You can try a cup!😁 like a Dixie cup or Luna cup or something:)
+MimiLuvsTweety yesss I tried the divacup a few years ago and I'll never go back to using anything else
MimiLuvsTweety don't you still got to use a liner and will that hurt if your a virgin?
+Koko Kouture you should use a liner when you first start using it and it doesn't hurt if you're a virgin it's more like pressure when inserting it. Once it's in correctly it doesn't hurt at all though
In the thumbnail you look exactly like London Tipton, please tell me someone knows who I'm talking about?xo
She does😱😂
+Chloe Louise from zack and cody, lol ikr
I do
I do,suite life of Zach & Cody

I literally can't use tampons. Like, I physically can't get it inside myself. It sucks.
OMG same 😭🙄 but they seem so much better
+Corinn Keene have you tried using the smallest ones like for the lightest flows?
+Madeline Elizabeth I have tried every single thing. Tiny tampons, different positions, lube, all of it.
+Corinn Keene hmm how old are you? how long have you been trying to use them
+Madeline Elizabeth I'm about to be 23. I haven't tried it in a while
I only started using tampons after I graduated high school and I wish I had started earlier. Pads are a pain in the ass. They irritated my skin. All brands did, not just a specific one. Tampons are a game changer. I feel way more comfortable. And the sneezing or laughing thing? It doesn't happen anymore. So glad!
Yes me too! I hated that feeling when I wear pads. Tampons are the way to go 😂
Periods suck.
Love, Daphne
That was weird. I… that was weird. I don't know…bye heh
omg 😂 best comment!
Anna R oh my gosh thank you so much for appreciating my weird thoughts haha
+Daphne Wilson this comment is really bæ. And I have known this sense I was 9 like fml 😂
Kaylee / Billi Bob haha that's rough. Give your uterus my condolences😂
Victorian Babe aw that's too bad:/
I have used pads since I started my periods. It's been a long process, but for the most part, I almost never have leakage, but every time I wear a tampon, I experience discomfort, leakage, and even worse cramps! Luckily, I am intelligent enough to know that I don't have to listen to someone telling me I "need to transition to the tampon life" if it makes me uncomfortable. But what about impressionable girls just starting out their periods who are already insecure and too afraid to ask about periods? You should be giving them advice on all of their options, not just your preferences!
THANK. YOU.
I'm sure she means that in her opinion she perfects tampons and encourages us to use it since it works best for her. She's not making u switch it's just a suggestion.
am I the only one who feels scared to use a tampon and still uses pads? I got no shame sista
I'm with you girl ! #padlife
Me too :( im scared to put it in there haaahha
OMG I love your profile pick. Luhan!!
+Shannon I'M SCARED TOO! Even looking at a tampon scares me ;-;
I'm the same I'm not game they look weird and to confusing
Weylie, your tampon video is the reason why I'm watching you today!!! 😂 love you girl
omg me too! I was like, 11 years ok when I watched it and she is like the big sister I've always wanted.
I prefer pads
1) i HATE sticking things "up there"
2) im terrified of toxic shock
3) i feel its gross to have a bloody piece of cotton inside of you
My opinions tho :/
Same
+Golden Turtle where did you even get that from?
I agree with you girl!!!
+Golden Turtle tampons actually don't make ur period last longer it depends how long ur body decides
+Støp It Jøsh Well then.. Maybe try a cup or something? At least it isn't cotton :p
I was 11 when this shit started... Koko Kouture Haha your auntie feels my pain! & how sweet, thank you so much!
Not trying to rain on your parade but don't you get a mutant period right after you have the baby?
cindy mouse Its my first baby so I couldn't tell you, but calling it a "mutant period" is a pretty rude way of stating it
Oh hehe sorry I didn't mean for you to get offended. And awesome on your first but I meant it as a joke. Hopefully you aren't worried about it.
Thanks! I got my first period today and so far, it's a pain in the ass.

I'm ten
The same thing happened to me
I’m 11 and I got mine too
Literally had my period today in school, had ONE pad then had to do PE in a lot of pain when I get changed to go home, i get into the bathroom stall and sneeze. NIAGRA FALLS. Had no more pads or tampons had to use loads of toilet paper. Come home, low and behold no fucking pads or tampons. Check Moms room, no tampons are there
I legit learned how to use a tampon from your video a couple years ago 🙌🏼
So did i! Im so happy i found this comment, i thought i was the only one.
+victoria peck it's not going to be dry if your on your period?
Yass but my mom still wont let me use them
im too young to use a tampon
+Lexie O so true!!!! I don't like using any other either lol
+cheza w yass!!!! Like I don't have to worry having anymore stains on cloths or my panties. Sorry U by Kotex, but always infinity have been saving my undies 😂😂😂
Fio Cava The ones with wings 😂💃💃💪
+Lexie O ohhh yess wings are your undies best friends lol

+Ella Young u won't exactly no some people get it really soon at the age at 11 or 13 ir something if not then somtimes 16 or older all depends on ur body everyone's body is different
+Lizzy Rodriguez i got mine when i was 11
i use pads and i actually have thought about tampons, but im still 13 and my mom thinks i'll lose my virginity with it so i'm not allowed ;-;
but you loose your virginity whe you have Sex and Not when you start wearing tampons :D
SAME (〒︿〒)
you can't their to small its a fact nobody would sell you a product that takes your virginity
+Natalie Long well...
i dont wear tampons because it is disgusting also my sisters dont wear it i meam it is DISGUSTING
your tampon vid was the first one I ever saw haha but I'm still too scared to use one 😷
My mom won't let me because she says those are only for people who have had sex 😒 #momproblems
+Cindy Jimenez OMG SAME
Madison Smith yeah me and my older sister have tried to explain it to her but nothing. ....
Yeah me too 😶
seriously don't be! I was like that for a while and you just gotta keep trying and keep watching videos. learn about your body to help where to put in it.
My problems with tampons are the fact that they can totally clog up your period. Anyone Else just want to stick to pads with me?:)
Me🙋🏼😂
How does it clog??… It only does that if you dont change regularly
Ga8rielle True... but your period is only 2-4 tablespoons of blood. If your wearing a pad all day than that means your going to loose more of the blood and the length of your period will be shorter. For a tampon if you change it out but arent giving some of that blood a chance to escape (which sounds disgusting but its true:) then your period will last a little bit longer..
+Aubrey Alexander Erm.....have you ever used a tampon? Because you sound reallyyyyyy ignorant.

Olivia Westfield california lol why
+Olivia Westfield where from?
+Lavi Nia thank you! I feel like buying one soon now haha
Every girl will be forever grateful for this video. Thank you haha
you kinda looked like Brenda song (London Tipton) in the thumbnail
I started my period in the beginning of 5th grade -.-
LUCKY?
+Natalie Palencik u should be glad. I'm in seventh grade too and I started mine in sixth. Be happy. I used to hope for it but now I hate it.
I started mine today I am 11
I just started mine and I already hate it so much
I started mine when I was 10
Personally, I have such short periods (usually 3 days but it can totally be 2 or 1 and 4 once in a while but not longer) that pads are just perfect. Tampons ?
Same here I get mine usually 3 days I think the longest I had it was 5 and I have an irregular flow so I really don't care much about what I'm using
3 DAYS WHAT THE HELL MINE IS 7 DAYS M I N I M U M
sorry b ari bain
Can u make a new video about tampons? Do u still use the same brand? Which brand would u avoid?
Looks like tampax radiant
I would just suggest nothing in the paper/cardboard applicators. I personally always use plastic applicators
+NamiNami921 which brand? And how do u know which is plastic and which isn't? I've NEVER used tampons lol
I'm 11 and I'm scared to use a tampon
me 2
Natalia Crittenton i'm 15 and i don't use them either. it's fine if you don't. pads are better in my opinion because sometimes you don't bleed as much on some days as you usually might and if you have a tampon in then it wouldn't be filled with blood and nobody wants to take out a dry tampon. pads are just better in my opinion
Don't be I switched during my first week and now I'm using the diva cup and girl i don't regret it at all.. need help? Watch her video about it.
I have to poop on my period i get cramps and head ache
And have a heavy flow
And a very long period
nicle picle omg thought I was the only one
A. DON'T use tampons for that long, its actually dangerous
B. DEFINITELY don't use them when you sleep, I've seen cases of TSS happen that way
C. PLEASE don't use the tampons with the plastic around them, that plastic is the number one type of plastic found in the ocean
+SelphieFairy taking out the cup doesnt feel weird?
How do you get into using a cup?
Like is there anything important to know about them? I'm really interested in them.
+Fluffy288 there are different types of folds
alot of youtubers say to never use a tampon but i love them, thank you for teaching me how to use one 5 years ago! that tampon video helped me so much and thats how i discovered you. thank you ily
I don't want to brag but I'm that lucky bitch who started her period when she was 15 I have a realllly light flow and it only lasts like 2-3 days
Em Stopmotions lucky fucking bitch
Em Stopmotions: your soo lucky😭
Em Stopmotions lucky
Em Stopmotions sounds nice 🙁
Em Stopmotions lucky bitch
Weylie, you're like the Asian mom I never had, telling me to eat fiber on my dot. Thanks girl :D
An Asian mom would tell you to not eat anything cold😂
+Monique Black not only Asian, Mexican moms won't let you eat anything but beans and soup -.-
Blah
+Merary Hernandez I like beans and soup
Me too, girl. Bean soup, specifically.
Chocolate is good for cramping
dark chocolate is better.
I know,
you try
dark chocolate, and orange juice
+☼neSillyKitten♥ I agree, that's what I use.
+☼neSillyKitten♥ Yeah and also orange juice works magic.
I'm binge watching so many period videos from tons of RUclipsrs right now!
the period odor is mostly from the chemicals in pads and tampons
Tampons are fine for me but it still leaks a bit so I have to wear a pad with it just to feel safe lol. anyone else have this problem? How do I deal with it?
You could wear a panty liner instead of a pad when you're wearing a tampon. Panty liners are smaller and less bulky but they still collect the excess blood.
Yes omg
Try a menstrual cup. Or a panty liner as someone else said
Wear a higher absorbency tampon
i wear a super sized tampon and pad idk i feel like i have to
I didn't need this video, I'm a guy, but the production quality is 5 out 5 potatoes
yesssss👌👌👌
🍠🍠🍠🍠🍠
Hey, you're the potato guy from itsJudysLife! 🙋
I find you in all of jk's videos and
Now weylies, hey buddy sup, how yo potatoes doing? 😂😂
+Viet Lee you are literally everywhere lol
Jk and Weylie now LOLLL
I swear I'll be the happiest mofo on the planet if my period comes right now cause I really don't want any surprises when I go on vacation next week, where I will be spending alot of time in water.Ugh,this makes me so nervous.:(
get on birth control.it stops periods or makes them lighter at least
+southern girl birth control make your period much much worse.
Chesca Stypayhorlikson how though?
ive had it 3 yrs and EVERY TIME i go on vacation........ hehehe... suprise.
Well I'm going to Knoebles and and I haven't gotten it and the day before I leave I get it whatttttt and then I have a bday party the next day ughhhh
When I had my first period I started using tampons...and I'm glad I learned right away because I'm a competitive swimmer and this happened in summer
Same!! And I hate it when my period comes because it's so awkward to be in a swim suit. 😂
Omg I'm a competitive swimmer too! Don't have my period tho thank the lord! Preparing myself though😂😉
yas thank you i got it today i needed this
i just started my period for the very first time ever today. any tips😁
+anna brown firstly i want to ask how old are u btw??
i started yesterday
I started using tampons yesterday it was amazing I got it in perfectly the only thing that heart is taking it out and I'm only on my second period I'm 12 by the way if you want to use tampons use tampax pearl lite
If you have period stains and you're trying to remove a stain I suggest you use cold water
sorry if this comment might be gross , but I have a small flower watering canand use it to rinse myself after pooping or peeing and then dry myself
Holy crap I thought I was the only one who did/had this!!
Haha no its the best and only way I can deeply clean myself beside taking shower
how did you figure out to use that? lmao did it just magically come to you while sitting on the toilet?
It's not gross at all (: My bf always feels the need to do that as well b/c he feels disgusting. I just use summers eve wipes though (:
+mxvp don’t get confused. No plants are growing in the toilet tank lol
growing up in a country where almost all the private/public washroom utilized with a hose and sprayer hooked to the wall next to toilet!! i know its weird but here in canada i have to use watter can to do the job . i just fill it with warm water and rinse myself afterwards .. another TMI is that some ppol who suffer from constipation using warm water before and after make pooping easier
I got my period at 10
Me too 😐
I got mine a month after I turned 13 so I only had it for a year
+Max Seltzer lol we pee out of our urethra and bleed out of our vagina and poop out of our buttholes
+_Mmhmm_ that was such a great explanation. 😂
+Max Seltzer good for you for being a du- wait get out of here perv 😂😂
Things not to do on your period:
• Do NOT! Eat chocolate, it makes it so much worse, but that's only me
(Kit Kats helped me :,) )
• Do not stop wearing your pad if you have a bit of blood left, keep wearing whatever you're wearing because you might bleed really bad
• Try not to sneeze too too much, it's like a levee broke during a hurricane and all the water is spilling out.
• Bananas! Eat them! They relieve so much pain
• Warm sock with rice in it, warm water bottle, or a heat pad. They help with cramps
• You're at school and have no more pads!
I got my first period at MC Donald's.
sarah hopper lol
***** not really funny @the time. But yeah lol.
I Got mine camping in Las Vegas XD
sarah hopper omg sme😂
i got mine at school and i had nothing... lol
does anyone know the brand of liners she showed, that packaging is really cute😂
That's what I was thinking! 😂
Ubykotex
Ugh periods sucks. I always got back stabbing back cramps before my period even started. Then later stomach cramps came. Anything I ate made me nauseous. Then, I started getting them at the same time. I couldn't sleep comfortably because my back was in pain. I hated to go to school and sit all day long because it would cause my cramps to worsen. And I just hated having to go to the bathroom and deal with my period. And the girls always took forever to finish. Periods. They're a gift from the devil himself.
I really love how honest you are! I started following you since the tampon video because I LOVED your honesty 🤗
I haven't had my period in 2 months and I don't know why...(no i'm not pregnant). I'm not complaining though...
Your hormones could be out of wack. It's actually really bad for your body to not have them.
You should always go to the dr if that happens and get checked out..
it could be many reasons like stress for example. you really should see the doc to make sure you're okay.
Ruth Kneebone Yeah the doctor told me it was normal a couple of years ago, I haven't asked lately though. Thanks for the assurance! :)
Ok i have a question
Is it ok that I don't get cramps?
yeah
It's amazing I'd you don't
Of course that's okay, I didn't get cramps until I'd had my period for about a year so if you haven't had it for a year yet cherish it hahah it gets worse as you get older but if you have had it for over a year you may just been one of the few lucky people who don't get cramps
I still don't get cramps and I've been getting them for five years now. But I only get my period once every two or three months, so it is way heavier.
It's all good, I have had my period for 4 years and I don't get cramps
I tried putting in a tampon 5 times now and it hurts soooo badly to push it in and I have to figure out how to because I play sports and its soooo uncomfortable to play in a pad. 😩 why can't I just get it in there😂😂😩😩
Shaytards fan It might take a little while to get used to it but I watched a lot of videos on how to put a tampon in before I started so when I got my period I was ready to use the tampons and I knew what I was doing
are you sure you're pushing it in the right angle, towards your lower back?
I've found what's best is to aim straight up at the very beginning and then once it slips in, angle towards the lower back
Try different angles and relax
Omg not to be rude but I seriously did not know who you were until you popped up your old "how to put on a tampon" video! That was when it hit me like a brick and realised that I watched you when I was like 12 or around that age 😂 I cannot believe how different you look and how you're still continuing your videos :D
I got my period two days ago on Monday and my birthday is in a month so I was just like “why couldn’t I at leasttt turn 13”
oh my gosh i thought i was the only one that had to costantly poop during my period!! Its mostly the first and second day since i get horrible horrible cramps and bloating but i hate pooping when im on my period. It just gross, blood everywhere 😫
tampons r more disgusting, than pads...everything stays inside when it need to be out
+Dana Obbey I know right! Everyone always thinks i'm weird for liking pads better because there "gross". TBH Pads are so much back. And it makes your period last shorter. That's what I heard anyways.
I actually prefer pads too. But it's just my preference.
XxCutiePiexX AJ It doesnt make your period last shorter😑
Not trying to scare some of you but dont try it if you are scared.
same lol the first time i used a tampon i almost fainted. now i can use them fine tho
That was because of you being anxious, I used a tampon, was fine, but I didn't really like it much, end of story.
That isn’t tss. That is anxiety
Erica Warfield you couldn’t breath? Well probably, it was the wrong hole? Maybe your mouth?
Whaaa? Nothing about taking Midol or Pamprin for cramps?
+Ica688 I try to stick away from medicines!
ilikeweylie I get it. Everyone is different. But they are really good for the worst days when you feel like dying. : )
+Ica688 The medicines actually created for women on their period all have caffeine in them, so if you have a sensitivity like I do you have to be extra careful with taking them- if you can take them at all! Ibuprofen is my life saver!
To avoid cramps you should eat pickles they will stop ... I honestly five seconds ago was eating a pickle and my cramps disappear
+Abigail Kemp midol teen is actually the exact same thing without the caffeine.
I use both tampons and pads but i prefer tampons because they make me feel a lot better tbh anyone the same?
Chelsea MacRae Yea sometimes i completly forget that im on my period
I use tampons when I’m out I don’t feel comfortable with pads out in public I think it’s very. Uncomfortable but tampons are not safe so try to be care ful with those
You and marissa are tha period queens, girl!💜☝🏻💁🏼
I started my period when I was 9. IT SUCKS!
Me too and yes it SUCKS
+Abbie Lewis i started when i was in like fourth grade and i thought i was dying xD

+thewayjiminflips hisorangehair
the way jimin fucks up my life :'-)
But let's just take a minute to appreciate our period.
Let's not.
😂
+Addy K hilarious!
I wish I could wear tampons more often but my flow usually isn't heavy enough :'(
Thus have pretty small ones. Smallest being the light. And if you feel like the flow isn't enough just leave it in longer! Up to 8hrs :)
You can still use the mini ones. I love the smallest size, since i hardly ever get periods anymore (because of my birth control pills), and when i do the flow is so little
+Whitney Tang I don't think your supposed to leave a tampon in more than 4 hours even if you have a light flow cause of TSS
Yeah, smaller kind would work... I don't know much about buying tampons XD ***** I've only heard a little bit about menstrual cups, do they really work well? I don't think I've ever seen them in stores either but maybe that's just because I'm not really looking for them.
+AllieK menstrual cups are amazing! I bought one recently, and will never go back!
Omg I can't even explain how helpful this is right now. Thanks for some great tips and ideas.
I'm a transguy(meaning my sex is female but my gender is male). Anyways, I get my period and I tried to start using tampons but I can't seem to put it in deep enough so it hurts. So I stick to pads.
I don't understand , transguy?
+Sue-chan Momoiro was a guy now a female I think ;)
+Neonmonster cookie actually, just the opposite. he has the genitalia of a female, but identifies as male.
Who's watching this on their period😂 Me😂😂😂
heat pads are filled with rice lol
Zoe Manoa no dried corn or beans
Lol
The feelings you have about pads vs tampons is the same feeling i have for tampons vs menstrual cups. UPGRADE TO THE CUP, GURLLL. UGH.
Oh man, when I'm on my period I am in the worst of pain in my whole entire life. There would be times I would be lying down, clutching to my stomach and just cry. It usually happens around the first few days. It's just so bad. I dunno if anyone here ever experience period pains, I thought I will die. It's the end of me. x_x
But I would hope if Weylie would answer this and it's nice to hear advice from someone else before I'll ask my mom who is a nurse for the final verdict, so..
-Lex
I got my period at ten and years later, I'm still surviving (barely...)
Me too.
Is this the girl from the show the suit life of zach and Codie
Lily Dillard No , that girl is actually Brenda song
you should do a routine of what you do in a full day during "that time of the month" or when your on your period is...
