I've started cooking my bacon in the oven on a tin foil covered cookie sheet. My oven temps a little off so I cook at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Love my bacon to be crisp but not burnt. So much easier and you can cook more slices if needed. I usually cut my slices in half. Helps to make blt's a much easier process, with an easier clean up. ❤

Tiona, those grits look good and creamy like how my Grandmother's grits were (she just passed in June) I could never master the art of making grits and I'm 46 years old. My daughter somehow learned how to make good grits too. The two things I can't make: Grits and Gravy 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hey quick cooking tip: put the bacon 🥓 in the oven over some aluminum foil.. The bacon 🥓 tastes great and the clean up is easy because once the grease gets cold u can just roll up the foil and trash it.. and it keeps all the grease from popping all over the oven..
I used to only eat sugar grits. BUT one day I had some bomb ass salt and pepper grits eating out and ever since….I’ve been a salt and pepper girl lol.

The breakfast looked so good. I love bacon and eggs scrambled or fried. I only make my grits with milk, butter, salt and pepper. So good and the milk makes the grits so creamy, the next time you make grits, make it with milk. 😊
My favorite bacon is Neuskes...the best bacon ever! I put some type of bouillon in my grits..if I am doing a regular breakfast it's normally chicken bouillon but if I am doing shrimp and grits I either do lobster better than bouillon or the granulated shrimp bouillon.

I use salt. When i was 12 we went to visit my uncle and he wouldnt allow us to use sugar on our grits or rice and we were there 2 wks.
By the time we returned home thats the way we continued to eat it with salt.
My uncle changed our eating habits alot and it was ok.

I love my grits with cheddar cheese, salt, pepper, butter, garlic powder and parsley served with a side of turkey bacon or beef sausage links, but I rarely eat them because of the sodium! Usually for breakfast i just eat fruit or leftovers, I'm all over the place lol

What is Grits?
Are you from the US? I'm not sure if it's a breakfast staple outside of the States, but it's ground corn and sort of resembles oatmeal/porridge.
