It's incredible to me that you're still finding hidden lost cyberpunk lore like this. Whenever I play Cyberpunk and just walk around it does feel like I'm seeing something new or long lost every time.
Honestly, I don't think you'll ever run out of things to wonder about. Still finding crazy things after all these years, it's both depressing and impressive
@@endlessgaslightprobably getting lost in this game like me, you can call this game cyberspunk because there is so much to do everywhere all over the place man
He may never. I've finished the game about 7 times now, and in between I will just wander around fighting the respawn enemies and attacking Barghest soldiers after supply drops, and such.
This could be an interesting thing to try and "rebuild" using AAM. I really loved the video of you rebuilding the casino, and i'd be hyped to see more. You certainly have a vision and a passion for this kind of thing
Funny you bring this up, I did actually start to try and flesh this place out before recording. And the casino will continue, just need to find some alone time to sit and ponder
@@SirMZK I think this would make a great community project if you decided you wanted help, you could discuss the design vision and people could submit ideas.
@@SirMZKI saw your hidden objects from e3 vid, the unspawnable e3 police av interests me, its a shame we can't see if there is anything left as its a unique vehicle, it was a small car-sized flying police car and you see them fly over in a old trailer, different from the two van-like police av's and the max tac and trauma team av's.
I love your videos showing cut content when I discovered your channel a few minutes ago from a recommendation. To be honest, I too am an enjoyer of cut content from games, literally trying to break the game to explore them.
Feels like the area outside the megatower had a lot of thought put into the visuals seeing as it's the first place the player sees when they leave the tower, plus the area behind tom's diner and the path to the ripper doc. But would have been nice to have more usable aspects to it, like potentially this nightclub could have been used to meet with people for gigs or for players to use it for the roleplay aspect.
Also on the subject of usable aspects, can anyone explain why we cant use the shooting range at Wilsons gun shop beyond one quest, or the boxing robot to spar with, I always end up just testing weapons on random people in the megatower when there's a perfectly functional shooting range and robot you should be able to test guns and mele with.
That's one of the things I was hoping for out of the cut multiplayer. Meeting up with party members in a tavern is an RPG trope as old as time. Could have been great!
This entire area gives me vibes of something that was not actually explorable, but it's interesting seeing they basically left the rough shell of the old area behind the new exterior
Man.. the amount of work and re-work that has gone into this city is crazy. I'm so curious about what they're gonna do next. I would stay in Night City and add to it.
Alright but however he’s right about the building being cut content cause this building was a resort night club where u would meet up with Meredith Stout as part of her romance but instead CDPR completely cut that out & all we got with Meredith was just that beginning sequence where u help her against the Malestroms who stole her convoy.
man i hope we get some type of map editing mod tool in the future the community would go fucking crazy with that type of thing opening open areas finishing areas making totally new areas [i think the cut content side of things though is the interesting one. id bet theres more e3 footage that shows areas that were cut out.
im pretty sure theres at least 20hrs of content that was cut out I remember seeing screenshots of missions that should have been in game that you were supposed to do with jackie and tbug which would have been great for 1st act of the game ending it with the Konpeki mission before meeting johnny.
Did you ever find the 'stage set' used for that 'TV game show segment' where those prosthetic arms are wheeled out for one lucky winner? I know there is a story based at tv set used for that crucifixion. Was there another like that?
Like a lot of it, ambition outpaced testing and shipping. Probably a lot of was scheduled in layers. Externals, rough internals, story, detail internals, and functionality. Some stuff probably got through the first couple of layers only to be cut in the name of making schedule delivery. I'm sure the issues with engine and build tools didn't help.
The lights inside for E3 were just cylinders with an emissive colour texture to make it look more interesting for the demo. As they progressed and decided on what to have where, I'm guessing they placed some existing asset inside to block out glitching, and that asset has proper walls on its own as well as that light fixture. As for the grey block, I'm guessing that's a remnant from when they blocked out content. The part when you decide where obstacles, ledges, etc. need to be for game mechanics. Sometimes, you accidentally set a block's position wrong by hitting the wrong key. You think you'll delete it later, but forget.
Whatever it was, wondering if Nightclubs was going to be more of a thing in Night City. (It's literally in the name.) But then was cut because..... well, it was decided not make the entire city a night club metropolis. We don't really do much in Night clubs currently.... even though we can visit some.
seems to me those windows could have just been some set dressing that changed earlier on with no interior actually made. those lights in the demo look like a parallax photo used to make it look like a 3d interior when there is none
Okay, so this is one of the odder cut-content buildings we've seen. I can see why they put the shutters up on the inside of the windows, and that really should have been enough to do on all the windows, but putting in those additional false walls and ceilings seems utterly unneeded. Surely that's using up resources they don't need to?
I also want to know the second song but the creator never shuts up. Doesn’t give the music to play for a few seconds without his voice so that Shazam can recognize it
Ah the legendary Cyberpunk 2077 E3 demo. That didn't exist, was a massive waste of the devs time, what if they used that time to put in the game insted. You can see anomalies in that build, that night club using placeholders, that cyberpunk version of 7/11 over the door.
Idk if you've covered it or not, but the other night I came across 2 holes in the map in the badlands. They're on the side of a mountain and you can walk right in them and just fall. Idk how this got by the dev team? They're really noticeable too.
When you exit the NCART at the Congress & MLK station in Heywood and go to the right, there's this fancy area called Advocet Hotel, where a bunch of NPCs spawn and sit around the table set up. Do you think this is cut content, or something added next to the NCART station for scenery?
My brain wants to see this whole thing going with build H10 where there are these skywalks and ladders as a concurrent and connected complex with some semblance of a community. Truely it's the dev's determent that the setting was never put together as it would have been interesting to explore different section with grimy stories related to the residents, solve puzzles, and hack areas that never see the light of day. Like a lot of things there is a hollow shell where there could be mystery.
Can you cover "Below Deck"? A nightclub that was discussed during pre-release trailers and commentary. It might be visible in the first trailer, and it was discussed in the "frame by frame" promo they did after E3. There's also the massive ad for it in Japantown, and other smaller logos throughout NC.
Hard to tell at this point. I seem to remember right up until launch CDPR false advertising that nearly every building would be enterable. But considering what's in the game, or rather not in the game, that was just blatant lies! Have to remember as well that the E3 trailer was completely fake, just a specific build just for E3.
This video really makes me curious what may be there, if anything, in the earliest builds post launch. I happen to have saved my GOG builds throughout the various upgrades, which I'm glad since they make many changes I didn't like mixed with those I did. I might have to install an older version like 1.04 (day 1 patch I believe) and check this out... or see if I can glitch my PS4 disc somehow to get there through save sync.
I’ve also wanted to do this for a while. What puts me off though is mods not being able to work. If I knew that free fly (no clip) worked on even like 1.2 or something, then I’d roll it back for videos
Can you access the rooftop of the adjoining building in the wakako mission until death do us part? I can never see the way up there - it's in charter hill.
If I had thousands of dollars, I'd pay a modder to add interiors to these places. If a reputable modder were to start a crowfund, I'd consider contributing.
All the cut content put me off from buying the game for 3+ years. Actually, it's your channel's cut content videos that I stumbled onto that reignited my curiosity about Night City. There was a sale going on at the time for the ultimate edition on Steam, so I grabbed it. I enjoyed it for what it is today. It is finally a well-functioning facsimile of what it was meant to be, but they better get it right with a sequel. I have a feeling they won't get a 3rd chance.
