Hey jewels! Here’s 2 methods on how I made my faux fur leg warmers. These are super sick and elevate any outfit. The first method is a little hard and the second is beginner friendly.
✂️Here are some tips
✨if you’re short (under 5’8) make your leg warmers 14”-15” tall.
✨to get the right fit measure under your knee where you want the leg warmer to start and add 3 inches since it needs to fit over your heel
✨The wide Length at the bottom is good for covering up your platform shoes. Make that measurment smaller if you want it to sit ontop of your shoes instead of cover them.
🖤Supplies list🖤
+Half yard of faux fur-60”x18”
+34” elastic/string
+2 strips of 2”x16” fabric to make the casing
+half yard of any non-stretch lining fabric

Where did you get your measurements from
For the top line measure under your knee where you want the leg warmer to start. Then add 3 inches to that number to give room to slide it around your heel when putting it on.
For the height, measure how tall you want it on your leg.
For the bottom line I measured around my foot with my platform shoe on so I know it would fit around my big platforms. But you can make it less wide if you don’t wear platform shoes.🖤🖤
So For the platform boot do you also add three to that? How wide should I make it?
@Jewelivy
prepping for a rave this weekend nd wanted 2 make legwarmers . i havent used a sewing machine in like 11 yrz nd made my last top for a rave by completely handstitching it 😭

How to sew lining with enclosed elastic band?
Your descriptions wrong:
This is a Sean Paul video lol.
Thanks for sharing with us!! You're beautiful. And quite talented!!:)!
bruh thank you for not fucking around and getting straight to business!!! this is an amazingly easy to follow yet in depth tutorial and, i cannot thank you enough for sharing your technique (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)
edit: you look sick as fuckkkk in the last shot with the moon over your shoulder ;--;
😂
Found you on Tik Tok 🤩
Heyyyy!!💖
Thank you for the tutorial and your skirt looks so pretty!! I have to ask, did you make it yourself?
Thank you, yes I did❤️
How did you sew the elastic and lining?
I sewed the elastic using a narrow zig zag stitch on my regular sewing machine and I pulled the elastic as I sewed to match up with the leg warmer. Then I tuck the elastic inside and added the lining right sides together and sewed along the same line I used to sew the elastic. Then turn everything to the right side.
You didnt sew the sole or down part ????
What was the width of elastic used for the simple method?
1.5 inch width
Y loved it but I don’t understand the last line you did, because you let two space’s
I messed up on the width so I had to go in and make my top line wider and I connected that to the bottom line. Then I added 1/2 inch seam allowance to the sides.
Do you have to add the lining?
You don’t have to add a lining I only recommend it if the inside of the faux fur irritates your skin.
@@Jewelivy okay thank you!!
What kind of fabric is the lining ?
I mean if it stretches
100% cotton with no stretch. The faux fur also has no stretch to it.
👍👍👍👍👍👍😻😻😻😻😻 💋 💋 💯💯👋👋
my sewing machine can't take the faux fur LOL
I would try hand sewing with a basic stitch and you can make the stitches long so it won’t take a lot of time to do
